We had a lot of fun and got to take some fun pictures too! Group Friendly - YES. Plenty of space for a group. Family Friendly - YES. We saw plenty of parents with their children learning archery there. Date Friendly - YES. Very cute date idea. Price - VERY affordable. Rentals are free and you are only paying for time there if you are doing open range. They even have punch cards for frequent goers. Difficulty - Easy. As a beginner, I had no issues for my first archery session. Food - Drinks and Snacks available for purchase here. Seats available for anyone tagging along but not joining in on the archery fun. Social Distancing - Our group was able to spaced out enough from other groups, so it wasn't an issue.

My mother can bust ass with a 45-magnum, and my sister could probably make a career as a professional sniper. For the longest time, they thought I was adopted because I had absolutely no interest in guns. After school was over, I decided it was time. IT WAS AWESOME. My axilla are bruised (both! learned that although I'm right handed, I'm a lefty shot). I had a teenager help me out since it was my first time. I yelped my first shot (and not in the usual yelp-kinda way). Since I'm a girl and it was my first time, I got 2 boxes of shot free. Normally $3 a box. 100 shots = $30 = better way of spending 1.5 hours of entertainment than in the casino, and way more rewarding, I assure you. That's Phil! And as I later learned, everyone I've come into contact with that worked there. They were all so friendly, they immediately put me at ease. And made me feel welcome! They turned a seriously nervous newbie into a less nervous Novice... From Heather who worked with me before going into the range. To Mike that helped me with the waiver process. Firstly, I encountered what I believe to be racially motivated incidents, which included delayed background checks and invasive personal inquiries. This alone was enough to make me reconsider my patronage. But what truly crossed the line was RangeUSA's refusal to initiate a new background check after 30 days, a policy clearly stated on the ATF's website. This, in my opinion, is an active prevention of my Second Amendment rights, which is unacceptable. Transparency, fairness, and respect for constitutional rights should form the backbone of any business, especially one dealing with firearms. Unfortunately, it seems like RangeUSA falls short in upholding these principles. I am left with no choice but to boycott their services until they address these issues and treat all customers equally and fairly. If being black is good enough for the ATF, it should be good enough for RangeUSA. I am filing a complaint reporting RangeUSA to the ATF for not complying with Federal Law which grants the right for a background check to be resubmitted after a delay and creating store rules that allow them to discriminate. I urge potential customers to think twice before supporting a business that seemingly disregards their customers' rights and treats them differently based on race. There are plenty of other firearm retailers who respect and uphold the principles of fairness, transparency, and constitutional rights.

There were two instructors: one to discuss the legal aspects of being a gun owner and one to instruct in handling a firearm. Although they talked for hours, it did not seem like such a drag because they were very personable. Things started to go a little left when it came time to visit the range. I was aware that the range was at a separate location from reading a previous review. However, this was not clarified during the registration process or openly until well into the class lecture. Of course one can ASSume that the range is at a separate location based on the type of building that the class is held in. It is obvious that the range isn't on-site. Still they should inform the class well ahead of time in case someone may not be willing or able to travel to the range. The range that we used was in Royal Oak, although the instructors did not seem committed to using any particular range... When the time came to go to the gun range we all met up there only to find that the range was closed due to a power outage. Obviously this was not the fault of the instructors, but it probably could have been avoided had they made a call even if just to confirm that it was okay to bring a group at that particular time... So our class ended up dragging on into the following day. There were 3 of us in the class and the instructor did give us the option to finish up that same day, but at a range that was slightly farther away. We opted to return the following day to finish the range portion. So for the day of the range training we had been instructed to meet at the building where the class was held only to get there and wait for other class members to show up and then we drove to the range. I was confused as to why we didn't just meet up at the range. I was initially under the impression that we were meeting at the classroom building because there was something else that he needed to review before we went to the gun range... The overall experience was fair. It obviously could have been better had there not been issues with the range set-up. I did enjoy the presentation of the instructors. I at all times felt comfortable at the gun range. The instructors both seemed very experienced with the laws and handling firearms. I never once felt intimidated with handling the guns or to ask questions in the class. I feel that the issue with the range, although could have been avoided, was an isolated incident and it doesn't impact the knowledge base of the instructors. In addition to the basics of gun ownership and CPL/CCW they initiated thought-provoking scenarios and other considerations for general safety.

Maybe this review is the headshot he didn't see coming." I spent over $1,000 with Lone Wolf Paintball and was banned from the site after exercising my right to request a refund under Maryland consumer law. I purchased a limited edition mask for $317 that looked drastically different than advertised. I was told to immediately purchase a second one (another $317) to secure the replacement while the first was in transit. When I returned the original, they issued store credit instead of the refund they had promised. It took three emails and a direct reference to their own words before they issued the refund. The second mask didn't fit, so I returned it and expected store credit, which was fine at the time. Rather than wait, I made a $400+ purchase for a Dye Box Rotor, thinking I'd spend the credit later. Boy, do I regert that--regret that. The illusion of inventory on their website is strong, but most products are actually out of stock once you click through. The few that are available are mostly fringe sizes or outdated gear. It became clear to me this system is designed to funnel customers into store credit and push slow-moving inventory. When I pushed back and referenced both Maryland and FTC law regarding refund disclosures and deceptive e-commerce practices, they refunded me, locked my account, voided my $20 store credit, and stated in writing they were "not admitting fault." I followed their policies, made clean returns, spent real money--and got banned for asking questions. "With that being said, we have determined, without admitting any type of fault, that it is in the best interest of all parties involved to process a full refund... and then we will close your account so no future orders can be placed." They refunded me. They banned me. They locked my account. Then they took the $20 store credit I had earned from the Dye Box Rotor purchase $430 W/TAX-- a valid order. Bottom line? I followed all the rules. I spent real money. I returned everything in perfect shape. One unopened, one touched for under 5 mins. And I got banned because I stood up and asked for fairness. This wasn't about being picky -- it was about being played. not this wolf no sir. And to Lone Wolf Paintball? You can keep the $20 apparently your actions prove you need it. badly.
