I'm a newbie archer. Archery was always on my bucket list, so one day I went with a friend who shoots to MOR. I'm glad that I did! First, as a woman, I greatly appreciated all the expert help that I've received from Holly, one of the store's excellent employees. Holly set me up with a great compound bow package that I'm extremely happy with. I love it. And with the purchase I also received free range time so I can practice my new hobby. It did take almost four months to get my bow after placing the order, but that's not on the shop. Everything is basically on backorder from the manufacturers. So if you want something to hunt with in the fall, you might want to shop now :) The range is great. I haven't tried the 3D targets, but that seems like fun. They know their stuff there, and are happy to help with any questions you may have, or like with me - basically teaching me how to fire the bow. They're awesome folks :) read more

I don't understand some of the bad reviews this place gets. The young lady that helped me was genuinely honest with me in regards to the accudraw on my tenpoint (had to be fixed by an authorized Tenpoint smith) and when I wanted to restring my bow, she told me the current state of my string was good enough for at least 1-2 more years, saving me money. I only gave 1 star because it won't let me choose 0. If you like feeling like you don't know anything about archery then this is the place to go. There was only a few people in the store, yet the girl behind the counter made me feel like I was bothering her. There were two gentleman behind her were engaged in a conversation and not helping anyone. Maybe if they know you, it would have been a better experience but I will never be back. Best archery shop I've ever been to. Just bought another bow from them this year and have no regrets. They knew I was in a time crunch and was able to get the bow in my hands within a few days while other ships would have taken a month this time of year. Holly and Tim are amazing! They are very informative and never try to gouge their customers or persuade them in any way. They take the time to go over everything before and after the purchase. I have been taking my bows to them for years and will continue to do so. Went to MOR archery to have cross bow checked out and have new cable installed. Tim / owner immediately looked down limbs with magnifying glass and said they were cracked and unsafe to use. called ten point and took to a certified dealer and told they were fine and nothing wrong. As a result i bought a new cross bow I hadn't intended on getting. To make matters worse the first time I used it I cranked it back with the accudraw and at almost full draw the handle back spun uncontrollable and causing severe injury to my thumb requiring stitches. Took it back to MOR, Tim took quick look, I told him it looked like switch on Accudraw was bent, he said no not bent nothing I can do. the other dealer I took it to took the accudraw apart said it wasn't adjusted properly and yes the switch was bent, he replaced and now working fine. Bottom line find another archery dealer there are plenty of honest ones, MOR Archery is not one of them. ZERO STARS read more

Excellent ownership and service support. They went beyond to help me with setup and ramp up on basic skills. Great ranges and equipment.

Kinda rude. Had my bow setup and instead of putting on the d-loop I bought that was cut to length, they decided, with out asking, to do their own(which was too short). Then when they tried to put on the one I bought they totally put it on wrong. I left with out a D-loop and I had to to that at home. Had to adjust my peep as well and it's twisting now. Prob have to bring to another shop to get this fixed. I would not suggest going to them. read more

I cannot recommend this place enough. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming staff. I accidentally dry fired my brand new Mathews bow which broke the string. I took my bow in with my head held low, feeling extremely embarrassed for making such a dumb mistake. I was promptly greeted as soon as I came in. I was welcomed to the desk and asked what brought me in. I explained what had happened expecting to be scolded. Not the case what so ever, these guys did not make me feel bad or amateurish from my mistake (I had already beat myself up enough over it). They gave the bow a look over, ordered a new pack of cables and string. A few days later they called me with my new strings. By the time I got there, they had my bow all set up and looking like new. They even replaced the old worn drop away rest cord for me. Then they even took the time to move the peep around until I was completely happy. And the demeanor of everybody there was so friendly and enthusiastic, it really made me feel welcome and comfortable there. Which is much more than I can say for any other pro shop I have ever been to. If you're looking for a shop to help you with your setup, advice, or a really nice place to shoot (they have a 50yd indoor range, WOW!) go check out MOR archery. read more

I came in here and believed that this store was the place I would be going to for life, where I would bring my children, and my friends. Something came up where I had to cancel my layaway. Now, I was not ONE time told that layaways could not be canceled. My receipt not once stated that layaways could not be canceled. Now I have to wait to find out if I get my money back. I just got off the phone with Mor Archery, this call did not go very well. My 23 year old daughter made an honest mistake and pulled into his parking lot, while turning around she was approached by an ARMED grown man, who she later realized was an employee. He came to her window and gestured for her to roll her it down, she did and was told she couldn't be in his lot. She appoligized and proceed to leave his lot. While I do realize he has the right to open carry, I feel approaching a vehicle with a young woman in it while ARMED is not the most appropriate way to resolve this issue. After speaking to him on the phone, I realized he was more concerned about his parking lot than intimidating a young woman, maybe that's what made him feel manly for the day since, he only gets complaints from "women", as he stated in our conversation that he never gets complaints from men. No matter what I said, he was not going to hear my point of view. His only concern was his parking lot and his "rights", bullying a young woman didn't seem to bother him at all! WOW, We thought we could help each other, apparently not! I'm not normally one to write bad reviews, on sites like this, because they don't really give the organization receiving the review to voice their side, but conducting business like this is unprofessional at the very least. and vindictive at the worst. We, on this side of the Argument, are Ore Creek Archery, We are a new archery club that is looking for a place to shoot and conduct Introduction to Archery and First shot classes, Tim, The owner of MOR Archery claimed to be very interested in having a JOAD/AADP program and run classes. We were going to start our program Tomorrow, just now got a call from TIm backing out of the deal, claimed to be too busy. Admittedly, we were being aggressive in attempting to start the program quickly, after all we are a group of dedicated shooters and coaches, We had an agreement in principle last weekend to start the program this weekend, with Mor supposed to call us to tell us the time slot, but from the start there was a major lack of communication from Mor Archery to Ore Creek, no phone calls as promised on several occasion when we called trying to get the time, this culminated in a visit out to the store last night, I thought we had things worked out when we left, I guess not. I would think twice about having your bow serviced here. I paid for a "tune up" and I mean paid 185 for a new string and tune up. I was told the bow was tuned and firing true, after taking it to an authorized dealer to fix the cocking device they said I was ripped off. The main bolts were loose, the string wasn't even waxed. How can you tune and shoot a cross bow without tightening the bolts and waxing the string? read more
