These people take short cuts and have little regard for the customer. They removed and reinstalled my windshield and did not use the appropriate gasket when they reinstalled it. It was much wider and thicker than the original and it was not even installed properly. It was flailing and detached so that water was seeping down into the metal around the windshield. I went back to them and spoke with a worker called Aiden. The solution Aiden had was to add tons of glue. I also asked him why they didn't use the same type of gasket as previously and he did not have an answer for me. I assumed it was a Made-in-China product like so many other things now-a-days and that the original gasket was no longer available. Shortly after, I noticed that other areas of the gasket were loose. I ended up bringing it to someone else. Because of all the glue Aiden had applied, when the new shop took the windshield out, it broke at the last tug. And, they said the wrong gasket was used. Indeed, the correct gasket is still available, which is what Wolf Autoglass installed. All I can say is wow. How are places like this still in business? I went back yet another time to get a copy of the invoice. Rich Bouleau, the owner said he could not give me a copy of it, because he was subcontracted to do the job by Strong's Autocare. He further explained that Strong's was the customer, not me, even though I am the one that hired him to do this job in conjunction with the work that Strong's was doing. Also, he said the gasket they used is a universal gasket. Thank you, Mr. Bouleau for your total lack of pride in the work coming out of your shop and disregard for the customer and their vehicle. This shop is a low-quality establishment and their work is of little to no value, in my experience. read more

I purchased an older Suburban and decided to upgrade the electronics, adding a backup camera, remote starter as well as a new stereo and speakers. We were getting ready for a 5 day horse show in Vermont when, while washing our car, the front windshield cracked. This was a Sunday. We were not able to find anyone to fix it until Wednesday. I finally found some one to fix it Tuesday and it was 47 miles away. Monday morning I called around and found Action Glass who could fix it that day. I also found another service that could fix it at our home Monday. The place that could fix it Tuesday said they could fix it Monday afternoon. I told them I found a place much closer. I chose Action Glass because the lady at the service desk was VERY helpful. When I arrived at Action Glass I called the service that was coming to my home to cancel. Sadly, when I went back in the office another lady at the desk said it would be a 2 to 3 hour wait. I took her to mean a 2 to 3 hour wait before the windshield was installed. Knowing how my wife was about to have a nervous breakdown because she was going to have to cancel the horse show, I called back the service that was going to come to my home to repair the windshield. I felt really bad because Action Glass went out of their way to help me and because of my misunderstanding [the 2-3 hour wait was for the sealant to dry - they were ready to install the glass immediately] I did not purchase the glass from them. I found Action Glass on the internet and called I spoke with Rich and was very impressed with his knowledge of auto glass installation, I brought my 1970 Buick Skylark to have the front and back windshields removed and replaced. His staff did an incredible job! I had just returned from The Syracuse Nationals and my participant sticker was affixed to the old windshield. its made to not be removed without damaging the sticker Richs staff removed the participant sticker and placed it on my new windshield. I drive down to Manchester, CT from Canada regularly to see relatives. This time, a horrible smash from an unknown object (likely tire debris) left my windshield smashed with barely any visibility. Since the original windshield pretty much saved my life, I contacted Ford for a new replacement. They recommended reaching out to Action Glass. I called them and booked a replacement with OEM windshield (Carlite), which they had. The lady on the phone was very pleasant and was knowledgeable. The mobile service could only be provided the next day and I agreed. Today the mobile service guys came in and replaced the windshield. They were real friendly and did a super professional job. They vacuumed the inside of the car as well and even taped up my windshield wiper because it had broken in the mishap (the guy said "just for now") even though I hadn't asked. I can't tell right now if the job was well done because it needs time but I am absolutely confident that it was. [Update: it's been a week since the install and there's been no issues]. That's how professional and courteous these guys were while doing a very clean job. I think the pricing was good and I recommend that anyone in the area needing auto glass work at least give them a call first and then try the others. read more

I noticed my windshield was cracked on my Acura (Still newish so it hurt me even more!) and seriously was FREAKING the eff out. I called my dealership in a panic, and without missing a beat they recommended Action Glass. I do a lot of highway driving for work and was concerned that while the crack was not too big at the moment, that it would spider out into a much larger problem. I called on a Tuesday morning, and had an appointment bright and early before work the very next day to get it fixed. I was there a total of maybe 30-40 mins and that's it. Also cost me less than I was expecting. Everyone was friendly and very professional. The only reason I dropped a star was because there was residue on my dash that they didn't clean up after they finished. Hopefully I don't have any other glass issues in the future, but if I do I'd definitely come back here. read more

My windshield needed to be replaced, so I called Action Glass based on a recommendation from my insurance agent. The woman that answered the phone was very knowledgable, and quickly set up for the mobile unit to replace my glass the next day. She gave me the 4 hour window of 8-12 and told me that if I called in the morning, they could narrow it down to a 2 hr window. I didn't bother calling since I wasn't going anywhere. The techs showed up at 10. They were done and out in 45 min. They were very professional and very quick. They even amused my son who insisted on watching from the door. The claim was submitted to my insurance with no problems. Hopefully I won't need to, but if I need another windshield, I will definitely contact them. read more

The customer service at Action Glass is excellent to begin with. From there, my experience only got better! My sunroof on my Acura shattered from the heat a few weeks ago. I chose to have it fixed here and I am so happy I did. They installed the new glass roof so well, you can't even tell anything was done. It works perfectly. I had a radio removed from a used car purchase I made, and they installed a radio I had purchased with Sirius XM. Having had this radio in a previous car, I knew it worked, properly, but for some reason the FM and AM stations were not clear. I went back and Rich, the owner, found a loose wire from the previous installation, fixed it and it works fine now. They stand behind their work, the people are very personable, the office staff is willing to converse with customers while waiting for the vehicle, and the whole experience has been enjoyable.
