She never judged me, criticized me or gave bossy advice like other therapists have. She listened closely, asked meaningful questions and talked to me like an equal. She let me cry; she let me vent. She felt like a true friend after six months of seeing her. I highly recommend SACS for anyone seeking counseling. Don't be afraid - everyone there is so welcoming. Whatever you need - a hug, a hot cup of tea, a blanket, a place to feel safe, an emergency last-minute session or talk ... they will do their best to make it happen. I will always appreciate Mary and this business for giving me a new life that is not dominated by trauma or emotional upheaval. Change is possible and making an appointment is the first step.

Here's a story: We…read morelive in Buda. My kids are Black. This is not a good mix. Buda is racist. Don't try to deny it; it is what it is. It's a quaint little community and I feel safe there, for the most part. My son was playing football with the crazy neighbor's kid. My son is super skinny, tall and bony. Crazy neighbor's kid caught the ball. Son went to tackle him and his nose hit my son's shoulder blade. A bloody nose is the result. Crazy neighbor calls police and ambulance. Says her family is in eminent danger from my son; that he has attacked her son and her son is now laying bleeding and helpless from the attack. NINE COP CARS show up. My son (may I add here that my son has Asperger's Syndrome) then watches the woman who keeps him after school thrown to the ground and kicked by Buda police as she is trying to protect him and tell the police that he has disabilities, his mother is on the phone and could he (the officer) please speak to me and inform me of what is going on. My son is then told "come here boy" (uhmm white cop/black kid... not ok to say "come here, boy") and cuffed. He is in tears. My twin girls, 14, are in tears, screaming at the police "PLEASE! My brother has muscular disorders and has special needs! PLEASE STOP" The twins are told to shut up or they'll be arrested, too. My son is rescued by the deputy Sheriff from Dahlstrom who hears what is going on over the radio, rushes to the apartments and informs the officers there of his knowledge of crazy neighbor and her antics. NOW, an hour into this, the police began talking to the kids who had also been playing ball to ask them what has happened. My son is taken out of cuffs. Crazy neighbor lady then proceeds to tell my son (and anyone else who will give her time to speak) that he is an animal and does not deserve to be in public school over the next few weeks. She tells my son she is going to "get him" anytime she sees him out. A couple of weeks later, crazy neighbor lady tries to break in to my apartment. My children are home and terrified This time, I call cops. My kids had nightmares for months. My son was afraid that he was "bad" and that he was going to be taken away from us. My daughters had nightmares that crazy neighbor broke in to the house and stabbed my son in the chest several times. I tell you all of this to say this: My son no longer has nightmares. He no longer thinks he is "bad" and he is back to his free spirited, happy kiddo self. There are no more tears in the middle of the night from him after awakening, screaming out in fear. He is finally going outside to play again and being social with kids. My daughters aren't afraid anymore. There are no more bad dreams about crazy neighbor lady. I was overwhelmed and knew that mommy kisses and "it's going to be ok" weren't working. I asked around and Tammie Martin came HIGHLY recommended to me by many trusted people in the Buda area. Tammie Martin worked her gentle, loving, soft as clouds speaking, magic. The twins love her and can't say enough wonderful things about her. My son thinks she hung the moon and says he feels good about having her to talk with. We now are dealing with teen angst; a whole other beast! Tammie is also awesome with that. Tammie is amazing. She's a great listener. She is soft spoken and kind. She is an encouraging person. She has made our lives so much better. We have been in for family and individual counseling and I cannot recommend her any higher. I am so glad we were referred to her; she is truly a miracle worker. P.S. FYI - Crazy neighbor lady has moved as of last month and we were very relieved, to say the least.

And she is always gentle and helpful to see what steps to take next. I came to her at a stage where I felt unclear about direction, my job was in transition and she helped me map out both immediate actions and the bigger vision. What sets Raychel apart is her combination of strategic thinking and genuine care. She listens deeply, asks powerful questions, and makes you feel fully seen. At the same time, she has the tools, frameworks, and insights that move you forward faster than you could on your own. If you're looking for someone who blends professional expertise with authentic, human connection, I cannot recommend Raychel enough. She's not just a coach -- she's a true partner in growth.

It was proven to me upon meeting her in our first 30 min introduction and time and time again in every session. I swear she's from another planet, that's how hard it is to find someone with her ability to see you and help you uncover the best in you. She is an astute listener with powerful insights. She is warm, compassionate, understanding, and hilarious. She will literally be giddy with excitement at the idea of being able to help you. Our sessions are so productive without being rushed or strict, and she will also ask for your input on what's working or about other approaches she can try to best fit your needs. Your sessions with her may not be anything like mine, but I guarantee you you'll be looking forward to each one and if anyone can guide you to where you want to be as a person, it's her.
