He arrived at a time in my life when deep emotional trauma was surfacing and my body was deeply fatigued. I needed help and guidance to work with these heavy energies. His integrity, professionalism and heart centered approach were immediately apparent when I spoke with him on the phone for the first time. He was so skilled at getting to the core emotional blocks and beliefs through the sensations in my body. We worked together to access the subconscious (as we call it my "little one") for multiple sessions and each time it was very profound and transformative. Because of the skills I learned with Randy, I now have a growing relationship with the wounded little one inside and an ability to recognize when she needs love and support from me. All we need is Love from our own Self to return to wholeness and Randy is a powerful guide in helping us to do just this. I highly recommend Randy as a gifted healer! Thank you dear Randy, you are a true angel of light.

She never judged me, criticized me or gave bossy advice like other therapists have. She listened closely, asked meaningful questions and talked to me like an equal. She let me cry; she let me vent. Here's a story: We…read morelive in Buda. My kids are Black. This is not a good mix. Buda is racist. Don't try to deny it; it is what it is. It's a quaint little community and I feel safe there, for the most part. My son was playing football with the crazy neighbor's kid. My son is super skinny, tall and bony. Crazy neighbor's kid caught the ball. Son went to tackle him and his nose hit my son's shoulder blade. A bloody nose is the result. Crazy neighbor calls police and ambulance. Says her family is in eminent danger from my son; that he has attacked her son and her son is now laying bleeding and helpless from the attack. NINE COP CARS show up. My son (may I add here that my son has Asperger's Syndrome) then watches the woman who keeps him after school thrown to the ground and kicked by Buda police as she is trying to protect him and tell the police that he has disabilities, his mother is on the phone and could he (the officer) please speak to me and inform me of what is going on. My son is then told "come here boy" (uhmm white cop/black kid... not ok to say "come here, boy") and cuffed. He is in tears. My twin girls, 14, are in tears, screaming at the police "PLEASE! My brother has muscular disorders and has special needs! PLEASE STOP" The twins are told to shut up or they'll be arrested, too. My son is rescued by the deputy Sheriff from Dahlstrom who hears what is going on over the radio, rushes to the apartments and informs the officers there of his knowledge of crazy neighbor and her antics. NOW, an hour into this, the police began talking to the kids who had also been playing ball to ask them what has happened. My son is taken out of cuffs. Crazy neighbor lady then proceeds to tell my son (and anyone else who will give her time to speak) that he is an animal and does not deserve to be in public school over the next few weeks. She tells my son she is going to "get him" anytime she sees him out. A couple of weeks later, crazy neighbor lady tries to break in to my apartment. My children are home and terrified This time, I call cops. My kids had nightmares for months. My son was afraid that he was "bad" and that he was going to be taken away from us. My daughters had nightmares that crazy neighbor broke in to the house and stabbed my son in the chest several times. I tell you all of this to say this: My son no longer has nightmares. He no longer thinks he is "bad" and he is back to his free spirited, happy kiddo self. There are no more tears in the middle of the night from him after awakening, screaming out in fear. He is finally going outside to play again and being social with kids. My daughters aren't afraid anymore. There are no more bad dreams about crazy neighbor lady. I was overwhelmed and knew that mommy kisses and "it's going to be ok" weren't working. I asked around and Tammie Martin came HIGHLY recommended to me by many trusted people in the Buda area. Tammie Martin worked her gentle, loving, soft as clouds speaking, magic. The twins love her and can't say enough wonderful things about her. My son thinks she hung the moon and says he feels good about having her to talk with. We now are dealing with teen angst; a whole other beast! Tammie is also awesome with that. Tammie is amazing. She's a great listener. She is soft spoken and kind. She is an encouraging person. She has made our lives so much better. We have been in for family and individual counseling and I cannot recommend her any higher. I am so glad we were referred to her; she is truly a miracle worker. P.S. FYI - Crazy neighbor lady has moved as of last month and we were very relieved, to say the least.

My first review of Julie D. Lee, LCSW was posted 1/9/19 so it's time for an update…read more I originally found my way to Julie a few years after severe and permanent injuries caused me to lose my health and career, which put enormous strains on my personal relationships. I wasn't sure I would survive at all, much less figure out how to make sense of the predicament. Prior to the catastrophe I defined my worth as a human being, my actual right to live and breathe, through work and the ability to provide for my family. That's generally a good thing, right? Workaholism is complicated. That issue alone can cause serious problems if it gets away from you. In my case, it blew up in my face when I became bedridden and unable to perform even the most basic functions, dressing and feeding myself, bathing... It took many years of excruciating effort, surgical interventions, daily physical therapy, pain management, etc., to regain a life worth living. Part of that process was accepting the fact that my injuries were permanent and I would never be the person I was before. As it turned out, I also lost a parts of me that had been causing harm to my loved ones for decades... workaholism and all the nasty little traits that were hammered into my personality in childhood. Long story short, I was raised in an extremely violent home by whackadoo parents. In the small West Texas farming community in which I was raised during the 60's and 70's, it was perfectly normal for adults in schools, churches, etc., to ignore obvious signs of child abuse. The overlapping bruises and open wounds on my back, arms, legs, and torso rarely had time to heal before more were added. My brothers and I were manipulated into fighting one another like cats and dogs and to wage emotional warfare. It seemed there was no escape from the cycle of epic violence. I followed a stereotypical path through the criminal justice system in my teens, left home at 15 years old, and became a business owner just before my 20th birthday. I became a lifelong business owner and high producer...never looked back and thought I "had it all figured out." News flash: I did not have it all figured out. I would not be alive today if I hadn't reached out for help -- not just from surgeons and such, but also those wonderful people in the behavioral health specialties -- psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers. Each played a roll in the seemingly impossible task of essentially un-hammering my mind and guiding me back to a life worth living. This is where Julie comes into the picture. My wife and I rely on her for couples counseling and we are both happier for it. Julie does an outstanding job untangling communication issues and helping us see and understand underlying issues that cause stress and confusion. My wife and I also rely on individual counseling with Julie to focus on issues more specific to our own life experiences and to better understand really...everything. I still don't "have it all figured out." But I do know this: Before the injuries that broke my body down and left me a basket case, the things that I thought were most important in life, and the tools I used work my way through it, were partly correct but also intolerably self defeating. And worse, I was inadvertently hurtful to those I cared about the most. Those are tough lessons for an old billy goat like me. But I am a better person for it and I can very clearly see how much happier my life is now. So thank you Julie Lee. Thank you for going above and beyond.

Whomever it was working 3 ladies (if you can call them that) were all standing around this staring at this kid laying on the floor. One of these rude "ladies" shooed us on like move along... SO RUDE! Disgusting Behavior from people that are "helping your children" It's obvious that this kid could benefit from a dog saying Hi through the window but NO they whomever this "lady" was shooed us like a fly!!! What kind of behavior is that teaching kids that already have behavior issues??? RUDE is what it is! I called when I got home & let them know how rude that was! The response I got was even RUDER!!! WE DON'T APPRECIATE YOU CALLING US OR WALKING BY WITH YOUR DOGS! THIS IS A MEDICAL FACILITY & KIDS HERE HAVE BEHAVIOR ISSUES! I said now I see why! They're learning it from you! I was hung up on! It seems as though the staff needs some behavior help themselves! Maybe take the kid off the floor??? How about that? It's a PUBLIC SIDEWALK & anyone can walk by this facility! If I were a parent taking my kid(s) there I'd be very cautious...Any time we've walked by this facility, I've never once seen any staff member smiling... Ever! This facility's manager, the employee who shooed us & whomever it was that answered the phone when I called... NEEDS TO APOLOGIZE TO ME! I'll be waiting for the response apology!~
