I believe my tech was new and I understand that hands on training is needed but geez this is a rough looking gel manicure. I've been growing my nails and while she was doing them two broke so I just asked for all of them to be cut short. They were shaped uneven and I had to ask twice to have my cuticles cleaned up at which point she barely touched them. The nail polish was put on messy and since it was gel it's kinda just stuck in clumps in areas. She ended up cutting me trying to fix it. I ended up asking for the nails file to clean up what I could myself. Like I said, I understanding being new (which I am assuming she was) but before having a new tech work with people perhaps making sure they are properly trained is a good idea, especially at the prices you're charging.

I called around 5 PM to see if they could take a walk-in pedicure in about 15 minutes, and the person on the phone was very kind and accommodating. They let me know it would be no problem, which I really appreciated since I know that's often a busy time. I ended up getting the "Adore" pedicure (I think that's what it was called) and added gel polish. There was an upcharge for the gel, but that was totally expected. The staff was so friendly, and my pedicure didn't feel rushed at all--I felt really relaxed the entire time. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly and didn't have to wait long. Everything felt clean and well taken care of, and the attention to detail really showed in the final result. I did notice they offer drinks, which is a nice touch--I wasn't offered one during my visit, but I also didn't feel like I needed anything. I also got the impression there might be a small discount for paying in cash, but I'm not completely sure, so it's probably worth asking. At checkout, the girl in front of me -- her husband had called and paid for her service which was so cute and sweet, so just an added benefit if you want to let your man know they take pre-payment and payment over the phone :) Overall, such a smooth and pleasant experience--from the phone call to walking out the door. She only went from the cuticle to the midway point making each of my nails, oddly shaped and lumpy. In addition, while using the drill, she tore up my cuticles on top of misshaping my nails overall. I was quite shocked because the place looked very nice and seemed to have consistent business. I would never return. I have been getting my nails done for over two decades and this has to be the worst experience to date.
