As much as I…read morewould like to give this haunted house a good score, I unfortunately and realistically cannot. Ideally, it gets a 3.5/10. I'll explain more in detail below. Overall, Containment Haunted House was, okay. It's about average as far as haunted houses go, but generally enjoyable. I am an ex haunted house employee who use to work for both Netherworld Haunted House and Creepers Haunted House. The Issues: 1) Containment Haunted House is difficult to find without a GPS. There is no signage along the highway or main road guiding you to the entrance. Additionally, please note that parking IS NOT FREE and will be an additional $5.00, so please plan accordingly. 2) There was only one (1) haunt when most modern haunted houses have 2-3 haunt experiences for the same price. This equates to poor value. 3) We arrived shortly after opening at 08:15 PM and had purchased tickets in advance online. When we finally left the haunted house, it was 10:30 PM. This was due to poor show and poor line management along with pacing issues as it wasn't necessarily crowded and it was still early in the season. Plan to be here a while. 4) The exterior of the haunted house lacked food and refreshment vendors, line actors, and appropriate interactive theming and props. This lead to an incredibly long and boring hour wait in the external que. The only saving grace was the loud music which provided some entertainment. Most of the people in the que were on their phones, myself included. However, what made it worse was the lack of sitting options. You basically had to stand idle the entire time, which is not good for individuals who are handicapped or who have back or knee problems. (The one pink clown was friendly and cool). 5) Warning: the interior of the haunted house building is extremely hot and humid! I would not recommend going to this haunted house if you're susceptible to the heat or if you have breathing difficulties. You. Will. Sweat. It was definitely warmer inside than out. 6) The theming and overall story of Containment Haunted House just wasn't really there and lacked consistency throughout. The introductory story of demonic pumpkins gone awry in the underworld quickly left your mind as you progressed through the haunt. Unfortunately, it wasn't scary. Usually, when I go through a haunted house, there will be at least one or two jump scares that will startle me and one actor/actress that actually scares me and I always give them a thumbs up and say great job! However, that wasn't the case here. No, I found myself getting a bit bored and I couldn't help jumping at the chance to scare the line guests in front of us and playing along with the haunt actors. I couldn't tell if they were just new or a little off their game, but it left me a bit disappointed. The pre-show interactive demon bit was excellent though! I didn't realize it was a live person interacting with guests at first. 7) The layout of the interior building was confusing without many clearly marked indicators for where guests need to go. I watched a couple of guests accidentally go through a boo hole or down the wrong way. And a group that went in before us somehow accidentally wound up behind us even though we never passed each other in the haunted house. All in all, Containment Haunted House was an...okay experience. Maybe a one and done kind of thing. I can't say that I'll be back or will be recommending it to friends or family, but I'm glad I experienced it at least once.

The seats were entirely too close and too low; even lowered to the floor more as I sat in it. After I pushed back some to allow myself to push up to stand up the seat came back up from the floor. The show was full of dancers and acrobatic acts; no animals and only three dancing clowns that did not perform in the ring so that the ppl who paid for prime seating (row three) could have e a perfect view without having to get a crook in their neck by turning to locate the clowns. The show also has not changed over the years; the same acts, performances, acts with fake ppl supposedly blindly selected from the audience, the dance contest where everyone wins etc... I was highly disappointed and ready to leave during intermission; only stayed for my grandson. Extremely disappointed; I'll never attend again but I wish the participants well. I must say that some of the acts were jaw dropping!

The Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse is an annual "haunted house" type attraction located in Conley,…read moreGeorgia, which is about 15 miles southeast of Midtown Atlanta (a 20-25 minute drive). The Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse is supposed to simulate a real-life zombie outbreak and put you in the center of it. It's a neat idea and it's been open every October for the past several years. I attended the attraction this past Friday, October 3, 2014, on opening night. The attraction is scheduled to be open every Friday and Saturday night, the rest of October, except for the week of Halloween, where the attraction will be open on Thursday and Friday that week. This year, there are two attractions: (1) a zombie outbreak scenario and (2) a zombie paintball gun experience. We each paid $40 for a combo ticket to visit both attractions. We each got $5 off because it was an opening weekend special. The regular combo ticket price is $45. Credit cards accepted. Parking costs $3 cash. Shortly after signing my waiver form, I heard security say there was a "Code Yellow." A staff member told me that meant someone got so scared, they peed on themselves. I was told by security there have been "Code Browns" too, where people have soiled themselves. We went to the zombie outbreak scenario first. A few groups ahead of us were so frightened, they left after completing only a few rooms. For the first attraction, we were able to go in as a group of six. We entered a giant, multilevel, abandoned warehouse/office building. The scenario had a storyline to it. We were basically thrust into the plot of a stereotypical zombie movie, TV show, or video game. We started off at the base of a stairwell and I was immediately reminded of The Walking Dead, 28 Days Later, and The Last of Us. It was pitch black and the environment felt real. [Warning: Spoilers Ahead] Actors guided us every step of the way. We were inside an overrun FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) building. Security guards and FEMA officials briefed us on the zombie outbreak situation. There was fighting amongst the characters and lots of scurrying through hallways and rooms, up and down stairwells, to try and avoid people and zombies. The actors were talking so fast and rushing us through each set of rooms that I didn't fully comprehend what was going on. Maybe it was designed that way. Early on, it was revealed that FEMA thought we were infected, so not only did we have to escape zombies, but armed FEMA guards too. We eventually ran into a FEMA doctor and military personnel, who led us through a makeshift triage. Along the way, zombies would pop out and try to bite us. There was a lot of, "Hurry! This way!" and "Stick together!" Humans would also get into altercations with each other and sometimes end up killing each other. It was just a crazy, bleak situation. There were a few outdoor areas that we had to run through with lots of zombies. That was fun. The actors aren't supposed to touch you and you're not supposed to touch them, so I sort of lollygagged behind the group to get a better look at the zombies. I tried to "enjoy" and take in the experience more. I think a common problem with most haunted attractions is customers go through them so fast because they're scared and running away from something that they miss out on a lot of the sights and sounds that the creators worked so hard to put together. Overall, I thought the zombie apocalypse scenario was well thought out. Our run through the course lasted roughly 15 minutes, but felt shorter than that. We ran into a wide cast of characters. Along with FEMA, we hit the CDD (Centers for Disease Development) offices as well as some stragglers who saved us. There was one open-field chase sequence, just like in the movies, where someone was waiting for us inside a set of doors, shouting at us to hurry before the zombies got us. Of course, after rushing inside, the actor shut the doors before the zombies could get in, leaving them banging on the doors. [End Spoilers] The paintball experience was a letdown. First, we waited over an hour in line, and the line was short. Something must have happened inside the attraction to cause a delay. An injury, perhaps? The maximum paintball group size was four. The paintball sequence took place in the woods. We walked through the woods, pitch black, with only our guide's flashlight to lead the way. When a zombie approached, the guide would shine his light at it and we'd shoot the zombie. One hit pretty much "killed" the zombie. The entire paintball portion lasted maybe 10 minutes. It ultimately consisted of a casual stroll through the forest, shooting a zombie every so often. There was no real adrenaline rush and it was actually kind of boring, though amusing. In the end though, I did have fun.

It's up to a highly trained and specialized military unit to help you and your group get from one part of the compound to the other - without getting killed or infected. You'll feel like you're in a real life action-horror film, complete with running, jumping, dodging, gunfire and zombie groupies. That's right. Zombie groupies. I haven't had this much fun since that weekend in Tijuana! The Apocalypse portion is a MUST, but if you want to shell out $10 more to shoot paint balls at real zombies (albeit, in a very controlled environment) have at it, as there is a section called "Shoot Out" that allows you to do just that. While I was super excited at the thought of shooting zombies, the reality of the Shoot Out was a bit of a letdown and the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars. But, trust me when I say The Apocalypse section more than made up for it. Just a tip - get there early! The ticket office opens around 8 (double-check on their site as I think it may open earlier the closer we get to Halloween). If you're not there early enough, you could be waiting for up to 2 hours.

The actors did such a great job and were fun to interact with. My husband and I also got our fortunes told and met the woman from Villa Rica Paranormal. They were nice and fun to talk to. An added touch was an employee asked my husband for my daughter's name to text to an employee working through the ghost train ride. She knew her name and pointed to her. I understand the concept of acting out a narrative and wanting to create an experience as a business. However, this was not appropriate for small children at all. Note to business: Let parents know up front that gun violence is part of the experience and to make sure any children are age appropriate.

It is wayyyyy better than EDC and I've been going to these events since 2008 (god I'm old...) and I lived in SoCal for 6 of those years, so you know I've been to quite a few. It sucked for people who didn't camp here because I guess the parking lot and bus trams were a mess due to weather, but this review is based on my personal experience staying in the easy tents at the event. Yes, it was muddy and rainy, but the event had no control over that. They did their best to sprinkle rocks, grass/hay and place wooden planks and plastic crates everywhere to remedy this. They had the fanciest porter potties I've ever seen! Lines weren't too bad in the easy tent area, but I saw how horrendous it was in the bring-your-own tent area. You get what you pay for I guess. The showers were cold and pretty much no hot water, but hey-- its camping! What do you expect?! The vibe from everyone was the best I've ever experienced. Everyone was friendly, fun-loving and just down to have a good time. It was fun meeting people from different parts of the world. The food prices were as expected for festivals. The venue itself I enjoyed a lot. The decorations and stages were beautiful. The bathroom situation was also super clean and fast! Never ran out of toilet paper and there was always a person there cleaning. They were even happy to be there and were even dancing around with the toilet paper rolls and mops (lol). They had the best DJs and best staff! Someone at the Q-Dance stage was so on one that they climbed the decor and high fived the DJ and then climbed back down. The guards didn't stop him cuz he wasn't going to harm himself (barely a fall due to the design of the decor) or anyone else and the DJ thought it was funny. That just gives you an idea of how positive the vibes were. I definitely recommend attending this event and getting the easy tents! It is all set up for you and ready to go. It even comes with a lock to keep your stuff safe.

I haven't given a 1star review until now…read more So the music sets were fun and the bathrooms were as good as they could get (flushable portapotties), BUT NOTHING COULD MAKE THE ORDEAL OF GOING HOME WORTH IT. Yes it was raining, and yes it was muddy, but TomorrowWorld didn't have a contingency plan for the clusterf*** that ensued when everybody was trying to leave the festival?!?! Basically the muddy parking areas caused onsite parking to be unavailable which resulted in people parking offsite, taking ubers, or shuttles to the drop off location. All these avenues of transportation needed shuttles to pick people up and take them to the actual TomorrowWorld grounds. So obviously, people needed these shuttles to take them back to the offsite/pickup areas, BUT THEY BLOCKED THE ROADS so literally there was standstill traffic due to roadblocks. The shuttles weren't going anywhere and there definitely weren't enough ubers. They stopped letting ubers even come near the pick up location. My friends and I waited in line for a shuttle from the grounds area which never came so we walked from there to the pick up location (3 miles??) and waited in line for an uber that never came so we walked down the dark road for another couple miles and I literally had to stick my hand out to try and hail an uber. Thankfully we flagged one down and our driver WAS THE BEST and didn't try to extort us for more money (the ride ended up being like maybe $80?) and took us to midtown. Note, we left Hardwell at 12:40am and didn't get home until 5am. MY BODY HURTS SO MUCH and I'm currently icing my feet. What kind of international event doesn't even have a contingency plan!??!?! Never coming back again.

It was so amazing to see all the nice planes and the history of how delta came into being. The staff at this place are so wonderful and helpful. Don't miss out the attraction of the virtual flight screen where you can pick your destination and see those places in a boarding experience. In the end you get to take photo and get a printed copy courtesy of the museum. You will pick that up in the shop. We thought we could get some souvenir of model plane. But in my opinion the prices are in the order of a first class tickets. There is also outer area with different planes and also the 747 that you can get to experiment inside and out. Overall a great spot to visit by if you are closer to the airport.

Entering the parking lot, you are greeted by two large planes and its tempting to stop and gawk but you'll have a chance to later. Mid-day Thursday, the museum was pretty empty so it was easy to look at and interact with all the exhibits. The first room plays a relatively quick video before opening up the the Legacy Hangar with a couple plans and a children's area. There is an interactive game for plane control signals that was fun! Moving on to the next space is a hall of different types and brands of planes that Delta uses or have used, neat to see them all in one place. The next hangar, Spirit Hangar, has a large B-767 plane, "The Spirit of Delta". Surrounding the plane is about destinations, delta luggage and uniforms through the year, acquisitions, and the flight simulator. It is cool to be able to be up close to such a large plane see the wheels and mechanisms underneath. Up on the mezzanine is where you go through a jet bridge and into the plane to see a little bit of what it was like and learn about the history of the plane. It is full of memorabilia that were fitting during the planes time. After the inside tour we went out to the 747 experience. About half of the aircraft seats are still in tact, and it is cool to interact with the various different types of cabins. There is a cut away of under the plane to see how it is constructed and various exhibits about the plane and moving it to the museum. Outside the plane you can walk up close and personal with the underside of the plane and other planes on site, including a DC-9, B-757, and DC-7B. It was a great spot to visit, the museum gift shop is stocked with a variety of Delta and aviation gifts and clothes. I would recommend to anyone with an aviation or Delta interest.
