ACR Solar is a great solar company! ACR Solar installed a state-of-the-art solar system on my home using microinverters. They came up with a great design that works extremely well in spite of the large trees around our home. ACR Solar's proposal was cost effective and the ACR Solar team was incredibly professional and helpful throughout the process. ACR Solar was also exceptional at coordinating our project with Sacramento County and with SMUD. All in all, I could not have asked for a better experience. Their very positive reviews here are all well deserved. read more

ACR. Solar is amazing! The consultation went very well, they were not pushy and answered all of our questions honestly. They waited until we got other quotes and told us to call back after. Well....we got six other quotes and their price was the best along with a fantastic warranty. The shut down happened in the middle of our process and ACR kept us informed the entire time. The install took 2 half days and it looked beautiful. All the workers were kind and respectful. The company does not contract out and take great pride in their work. We have had it on for over a month and are very happy. I highly recommend. read more

We recently had solar added for our pool. Acr solar was fantastic and worked tirelessly in extreme heat to do the work. Aaron our sales rep was very knowledgeable and we communicated often during our job. Robert And his crew were quick and clean and were obviously Very experienced. I would not hesitate to recommend ACR solar To anyone. read more

If your looking for a good solar company go with ACR solar! My wife and I purchased a home in Lincoln with an owned 27 panel solar system on the roof. The company that did the installation is no longer in buisness. I wanted someone to come out and take a look to ensure it's all functioning properly. Clark came out to take a look. He was on time and professional. I highly recommend ACR! read more

Peter @ ACR Solar is great, easy to work with and responses quickly. The price quoted is very competitive with the best warranty. Would recommend. read more

Their technical sales associate, Jack, was great to talk to and very informative/knowledgeable. I reached out to ACR via Yelp, but ultimately called them directly because Bree, their marketing manager, kept saying she would give me a call, but never did. Time was of the essence since we are in NEM 2.0 crunch time, so this delay was frustrating. Ultimately, ACR could not guarantee that our application could be submitted prior to the NEM 2.0 deadline so we could not take that risk. Otherwise, Jack and his team were contenders! read more

They came to my house, provided me with a correct quote. Did the work on time and provided very professional services last year. I just emailed a question and got a personal phone call a few hours later, and answered all my questions. ACR Solar knows what they are doing and proved to have great service and follow up. I highly recommend them. read more

ACR Solar is top notch! They went above and beyond on my solar install. They took on the heavy lifting of permitting and HOA approvals and ensured they got done. We had some added complexity that they worked through and resolved quickly, likely going above the scope of their install. It didn't go unnoticed. If you are thinking about solar, go with ACR. read more

Thank you ACR! From beautiful DVora in the office to the install team and upper management, we have all good things to say. They were professional. They did a great job on the install. They left our yard clean. They went above and beyond to fix a problem that wasn't their responsibility. Highly recommend! read more

We could not work with a more honest and humble business person. Thank you to Al for honoring your word and going the extra mile to make your customers happy. I highly suggest working with Al and ACR Solar!!!! We are proof that not every job goes perfectly but Al will step up to make it right. Thanks again ACR Solar read more

I would like to give a BIG shout out to this business. First while I was on vacation last year I received a call that my solar inverter had gone bad they were on there way to my house to replace it. Please tell me another company that is that proactive. They sent out their repairman that day and replaced the inverter. Also during this last storm in December I observed a water leak in my master bedroom I called ACR because I thought it might be related to my solar. Within 30 minutes there was 2 ACR workers at my front door, they looked in the attic and then went on the wet roof to find the leak. They found the leak and repaired it. Just letting everyone know if you are considering roof solar this is the company to choose. Professional and on time , friendly. read more

I was having problems with my dishwasher. The repairman thought we had a bad wall switch and circuit breaker. We called ACR who had installed our solar and a new electrical panel. They were in our area and arrived within the hour. Kody found a bad breaker which he repaired. He also kindly replaced a bad outlet under the sink as well as the bad wall switch (which he had to go buy parts for.) Kody explained everything thoroughly and was thankfully able to fix our problems that day (the Friday before a 3 day weekend.) We highly recommend ACR for their service and for our solar/install as well! read more

We searched around. Based on positive reviews we decided on ACR. No regrets. They met and exceeded our expectations. People are great-sales, front office, installation. read more

I did not go with them. For one, the guy who came out was a talker, but not about the product. When I asked questions, ie can they put the system on the roof of my patio cover, he insisted that it had to go in the the front of the house..but it doesn't get the sun like the backyard. He said that was a misunderstanding that lots of people think. Well, ya. Solar works best when the panels get lots of sun. and the cost was almost 900. More than the Co. I went with. read more

After 15 years of contemplating and talking to around 10 different solar contractors, i had been so turned off by either lack of knowledge that some had and/or high pressure or insistence that others had, that i decided not to move forward......until i accidentally ran into Al Rich at ACR Solar! Al was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! With no pressure whatsoever, proceeded to explain to me the advantages of solar, specific to my household. He sent Matt out to get more details at my house, and I discovered he too was knowledgeable and VERY easy going in the process, again, no pressure to commit. All information at this point was simply, "call us if it sounds good to you", never got a call after that unless it was warranted by me by way of a return call. Needless to say, we called on ACR to finally do the install and could not be happier. Installers were professional, hard working and honest. Both Matt and Al called to check in with me reassuring me everything would be fine. We are saving a minimum of $50 per month until the system is paid off at which time all of our energy will then be almost free. My wife and I loved these guys so much we hired them back to do a small custom pool heating array on top of our shed to get us in the pool earlier and later in the year........ pool heating equipment and custom labor for less than $5000 hurt a little upfront, but knowing it's costing me nothing in additional energy to use it all day long is a huge plus! Keeping my pool water at 80 degrees has been nothing short of success with our pool parties. Basically, if you need solar for an honest price with no hassles ACR Solar is what I highly recommend! FYI, i waited 2 years to write this review as i rarely put my stamp on anything, but these guys deserved it....thanks Al and Matt, JOB WELL DONE! Michael G Antelope read more

I had a great experience with ACR Solar from start to finish. Peter was very informative and helpful in explaining the process and answering all of my questions about the panels and the system that they proposed for my home. The installers were very efficient and professional and did a great job installing the panels and the electrical boxes. My system passed all of the inspections without a hitch and I'm now generating electricity. I also really like the SolarEdge app on my phone which allows me to easily see how much power I am generating on a real time basis. read more

We had our roof and gutters cleaned recently; and the process with this company could not be better! Joe worked with me to get a date for the work, the workers showed up on time; worked hard and efficiently, did an excellent job removing all moss and debris from roof and gutters (I've never seen it looking so clean!), and cleaned up the grounds thoroughly afterwards. All this and an excellent price! I fully recommend this company, without reservation! read more

Everything went smoothly. They answered all my questions and did a great job.they were honest and responsive.

We had solar panels installed to heat our swimming pool. We are very happy with the results and the whole process was painless thanks to Al, the owner, and his employees who were prompt and did a great job. Any questions we've had since installation have always been answered quickly by Al and knowledgeable staff. We recommend SolarRoofs without any hesitation. Al made sure we got the best results for our specific environment which includes lots of shade trees. Great company with a very personal touch. read more

Al C Rich, the founder of ACR Solar International, was a pioneer in the solar industry. He put a solar powered reindeer display on the Reagan White House in 1987. Al has four patents to his name in solar hot water technology. They are much more efficient than solar electric panels at capturing the sun's energy, grabbing about 85% compared to solar electric's 15%, so the energy savings are waaaay better than solar electric, and the combo of both is the ideal. So ACRSI does both hot water and electric. And their customers rave about them! I don't have one of their systems yet, because I am between houses, but when I do, this is going to be my team. Al's staff have been with him for years: sales, installation, maintenance, and office. So they really know the ropes, and they are helpful to the point of ridiculous. I have been a Yelper for a while, and I am putting ACR Solar International up here because they aren't here yet, and they should be, so that his customers can find him and comment as well. read more

Al Rich put a thermal system on my roof last month and it is working perfect. Install was fast even though my house was a difficult one for them. Collector is running at 160F and the water heater is not coming on anymore at all! The $1500 SMUD rebate came already and the $1560 Federal Rebate got me to where I only paid for half the system! Even the SMUD guy said "we almost never see problems with Al's systems." I calculated a $445 per year savings on my SMUD bill- that's a 4.5 year payback before I am making money... read more

Solar is the way to go for the future, especially now with the rebates from PGE, SMUD and the Federal government. To combat the rising costs of PGE in Yolo county, I contacted ACR Solar about a thermal solar water heater. I had contacted a couple of other companies before them and got the run around and incorrect information. Aaron, the solar water heater sales representative explained all the costs and the process for the install. The installation team from ACR were very knowledgeable to the tee and took their time to be precise with the installation of the system. The collector panels were matched to my home, you have 26 colors to choose from, and it looks really nice up on my roof. I have a two story home and the installation for this configuration will take two days. The ACR team did a great job in running my piping using existing spaces and vents within my home, no outside conduit piping real cool. The solar storage unit, with digital controls looks great in the garage and the exsisting gas water heater won't be working as hard now. All the piping in the garage was insulated very professionally. The bottom line cost of this install is 50% after the rebates are refunded. At this point in the game, it is crazy why more people don't take advantage of solar. Also, you will increase the value of your home immensely, remember you are producing power now. I would recommend ACR Solar very highly for price, service and custom installation. read more

Great experience. ACR just installed solar (19 Panasonic 320w panels, emphase microinverters, and consumption monitoring adapters, a 220 volt outlet to change my EV). In January, they will be redoing my polar solar moving it to the other side of my roof. Company did outstanding job at exceptionally competitive price with excellent quality and workmanship. Aaron the sales rep was more a of consultant on helping size the system and options and was easy to work with. The company provided a flow chart of the process to set expectations and often followed up during the process to see if I had questions. They typically haven't installed the consumption monitoring adapters, but we jointly did the research and they ended up doing that part of the job for free!!!! This is an awesome feature allows you to see what you are producing and consuming on daily/hourly basis in a mobile app, otherwise you have to try to reconcile pge statements. Be sure to ask for consumption monitoring! They don't have the shiny brochures, but more than make up for it with great pricing and customer service. Highly recommend. read more

I would give ACR 10 stars if I could. I just got off the phone with the president of the company (John Rasuga) and let me tell you, this company is all about doing what is right for the customer. We were originally quoted one price for our pool solar and when the installers arrived today they informed us that the pump we had did not have enough horsepower to effectivley run water through the system. My wife called me at work in a panic to inform me that was told it was going to be an extra $1500 on top of our original quote to get everything up and running. I immediately called ACR to figure out what was going on. When I called I spoke with John and filled him on the situation. When they came out to do the prior inspection no one informed us about the pool pump needing to be replaced. Honestly, I was ready to have him pull the installers from the job before they go any further, and look elsewhere. Not only did John apologize for the confusion, he assured me not to worry, and that his company would take care of the pool pump at no extra cost to us. At the end of the conversion he said, "THEY ARE NOT HAPPY UNLESS THE CUSTOMER IS HAPPY!" If you're looking to install solar you would be crazy not to go with ACR. read more

I met with about 5 companies when researching solar, and ACR was--by far--the most professional and knowledgeable. I was really impressed with Peter (our salesperson), we got a comprehensive quote, and all the process and timelines were laid out and ultimately met by the team. Installation went smoothly, and we got our permission to operate from PG&E in mid-March. The only bump in the road was that the paperwork submitted to PG&E said "keep current rate plan" instead of "switch to TOU-C". It look about 6 calls to PG&E over these last two months to get it changed, but we're rolling now and may not have to pay for electricity at all this year! Highly recommend this company. read more

We completed a solar panel and pool solar installation from ACR a few months ago. Loved working with Clark, Aaron, Chris and the whole knowledgable team. They laid it out, worked with us on the best way to set it up and they quickly navigated the permitting, installations, and inspections. Very happy with the work and the system to date. Love to be able to monitor it's efficiency and output on the computer or through an app on the phone. Would highly recommend this company and their staff. I just completed purchase and installation of my rooftop solar panels from ACR Solar, as well as their solar water heating system, after getting a new roof. If a complete package of expertise, experience, and excellence for installation & customer service is what you want -- ACR SOLAR INTERNATIONAL is what you need! Mr Al C Rich (President, Founder of ACR Solar International) and the staff/team of ACR Solar are very generous and flexible in addressing specific needs of the customer. The timeliness and diligence in doing the job well and right to the satisfaction of the customer in a safe and cost effective way was our family Solar installation/repair experience! I have a 30-year-old Barrel tile roof and some underlay that needed some TLC as well as two Solar Hot Water Panels that needed to be remounted. They were installed 30 years ago as well when the roof was put on. Most companies either do roof or solar. Not Both. And being cement tiles not many takers. I found ACR while searching the web and it was the best thing that I could have done. The estimator came out the next day. I showed him the bid just for the roof from another company who did only roofing not solar panels. I just wanted to hire one company to do both. The ACR estimator got on the roof and took pictures. They came back with the price that matched the other company and for a few dollars more remounted the Solar Panels. Soon after C.E.O. Joe Petersen and his Crew consisting of Brian, Jessie and Robert came out. What can I say! These guys were Friendly and Professional in every sense of the word. And Hard Workers! These guys were MACHINES! Took two days to complete the job. The Price was Great, the Roof looks Great, and the remounting of the Solar Panels is Excellent. They cleaned everything up when finished. You would have never known they were there. I can't say thank you enough (ACR). C.E.O. Joe, Jessie, Robert and Brian.
