Ambiance- small irs walk in and walk out but very Italian ish so charming and cute..
This place is more like a street food service than a cafe type.
There are about 8 or so choices, squid with ink, grilled squid (heat up and butter on it), fish kabobs, fried squid, octopus salad with shrimp plus celery, baccala (fried cod) creamy dip, sardines with onions salted, chicken kabob l, meatballs and some veggie options...
Now you can order a plate of one things or multiple that they scoop ip to try all
on one plate your choice.
I got 4 options as I felt like i already had at restaurants the meatballs and veggies (eggplants) and more along with not interested in a chicken kabob coming to Italy all this way that I could get at home..
So leaves it down to the squid in ink, sardines, octopus salad and dried cod baccala creamy mixture. I would have tried the sardines but they are so salty I couldn't do it.
So they heat up the squid items and add butter except the one in ink they just heat it up then as any cold type items after.
The squid with in now I love squid in ink sauce and have had some good pasta dishes here with it this was not my fave, it was super bland and the squid was good but the ink sauce on it was just flavorless lacking any wow factor..
The octopus salad same very flavorless and octopus was not chewy but seemed overly soft like it was steamed to much then served I like a little chew factor.
The cod was good heated up salty but creamy and yummy. I would suggest getting a loaf of yummy bread and dipping it into this..
The grilled squid was good heated and butter along with the fried squid my fav along with the cod..
Try them all out just get a large spoon full so you don't waste a lot
of money but you get the experience. Let
