Venice hospitality at its best! Our group of 6 came to dinner at the suggestion of the hotel concierge. The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. Everyone loved their entrees and wine suggested by the waiter. We were told to be sure to get the tiramisu and it was beautifully presented and delicious. We had one of each of the desserts all were exceptional. What a beautiful dinner in Venice. Not at all the tourist spot. I think we were the only Americans in the restaurant which is always a good sign. The manager was funny and warm, and we absolutely loved our experience here. My only suggestion is to dress in layers because the restaurant was extremely warm inside.

A restaurant so amazing that our family unanimously decided that we had to eat there twice and end our adventure on a high note! Thank you @regina_sconta for the delicious Venetian dishes and your warm hospitality. We felt so welcomed and look forward to dining with you again! Please visit them if you are in Venice!

If we could give 10 stars we would! The food was incredible and the experience off the charts! We were looking to immerse ourselves in the culture and the food of the region and we could not have been happier. Giovanni and his family were so welcoming and they introduced us to great food and wine. Between the four of us, we had spaghetti with clam sauce, pasta with truffles, Branzini fish, and lasagna with Bolognese sauce. We topped it off with the best tiramisu we have ever eaten! We highly recommend Regina Sconta! You will be glad you went!

We loved this hidden restaurant outside the tourist area. The environment make you feel private, quiet and relax. The food is just amazing. The seafood dishes like the carpaccio and the pasta are well made and flavorful. The tiramisu is very good too. We really enjoyed a great lunch here.

This is not the appetizer I described, these are the home made ravioli, with truffle on top.

This place is worth the fullest 5 stars I've ever given! Interestingly it's so hidden, that we almost thought we had the wrong address, yet it was just representative of the preciousness of the place. The food was soo good, that the appetizer I ordered made me smile in a weird way. The flavors were so well balanced and and in harmony with each other, that my face went out of control, and felt happy. I believe anyone who likes food and looks for something refined and worth paying a little more, should definitely reserve a table at Regina Sconta. Service was welcoming, relaxed and highly professional, I have only compliments for how we've been served. The ambience is rather elegant, small and historic, with a touch that, for my personal taste, was the icing on the cake: they use colorful Murano glasses to serve you water! Enjoy some pictures of the dishes we ordered (just some ..we forgot to take other pics), my advice is to order their carpaccio with truffle and tuna sauce as appetizer.

I would like to say firstly that this restaurant's specialty is seafood (which I didn't gather from their website) and my husband is allergic to seafood. We weren't able to view their menu online in advance due to the seasonal nature of their dishes, so we unfortunately arrived very hungry but had an extremely limited number of options to choose from. I ended up ordering 2 starters - the burrata and the wagyu carpaccio (which was actually cooked, like a rare sliced roast beef). The burrata was nothing special, and the burrata has clearly been kept in the fridge. That maybe sounds overly critical, but it indicates the cheese wasn't fresh, and the best flavors are hidden when not served room temperature. The beef was good with a TON of shaved truffles on top, but it wasn't anything special. The waitress was extremely kind to offer to make my husband other dishes not on the menu that he would be able to eat. He went with a carbonara, which was so-so, but I feel bad faulting this dish because it wasn't one of their regular options. Overall, the food was nothing special, but the service and off-menu dish bumped my review up a star.

No matter the venues you've tried this will be your best meal in Venice. Hidden away off a side street, you'll find one of the city's best kept secrets. A refreshing break from €4 aperol spritz by the canal, every dish at Regina Sconta is drawn from Italian classics and prepared to perfection. There was not a bite that did not reflect the passion poured into perfecting Venetian fare for the modern pallet. Service was personal, swift and professional. Light jazz in a contemporary atmosphere. Not a morsel left on a single plate. Appetizer: 1. Wagyu beef carpaccio (10/10) Primi: 1. Tortellini with Robiola cheese (10/10) Secondi: 1. Sous-vide Italian veal (10/10) 2. Grilled beef (10/10) 3. Croaker fish fillet (10/10) Dessert: 1. Panna Cotta with chocolate/caramel (10/10) 2. Tiramisu (10/10) 3. Milfoli with Lemon cream (10/10)

The most amazing meal we have had in 2 weeks in Venice and that is saying something. Obscure location that you have to seek out. Beautiful decor, superb service and the food was extraordinary in presentation and taste. We will be back

    Monk fish with pea purée

A wonderful experience in every aspect! A hidden gem. The service was warm and friendly. The food was the best we had all week. The chef did a splendid job of blending flavors. The presentation was very elegant. The prices were a little above average, but the experience was worth it. If you want a special meal, this is a great choice!

For dinner in peak season, try to make a reservation as the restaurant is very small. We arrived before our reservation time and were seated immediately inside and greeted warmly by the restaurant owner. We ordered a bottle of wine to start (most under 20 Euros for a 75 ML bottle). For appetizers we ordered the cheese with honey for 13 Euros, absolutely amazing! We also combined this with the local olive oil and fresh bread brought to the table to start as well. For our second course we chose two pastas, the Penne Alla Amatriciana (I think it was around 12 Euros), and the Spaghetti Alla Carbonara (I think it was around 12 Euros as well). Both had extremely fresh homemade ingredients and were out of this world and extreme attention to care in the preparation. For our entree we split the breaded pork chop (I think it was around 20 Euros), including a side of potatoes (similar to the steak fries that you would see in the U.S.) The service was absolutely amazing and we loved dining alongside the owner and his family and meeting the cat that also lives at the restaurant and comes by to greet you during the meal as well. It truly was like you were dining at the home of the owner and is a must try if you are in Venice!

Servers were welcoming and answered questions my friend and I had about the menu. The steak platter was AMAZING. 10/10. Truly such a memorable meal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Definitely get the Lombatello steak if you are feeling carnivorous…read more Throngs of lively people sipping wine and snacking on cichetti late into the evening along the canal. The cichetti selection looked very good (variety thinned out throughout the night), but our party of 3 was starving and we opted to sit inside for a late ~8:30pm dinner. We got one order of grilled lamb and the Lombatello steak for 2. The lamb was also good, no gamey taste. The Lombatello steak was simply fantastic, choose this cut specifically!! A heaping pile of medium-rare meat (cannot buy single portions) that was very tender and flavorful. It's cushioned with steak fries and grilled veggies on the side. Paired with two glasses of house wine, this meal was fantastic. Ended up with a to go box of steak and fries. Servers are very busy, bustling around clearing tables, taking orders, etc, but they are vigilant if you need anything. We saw one table of ~10 order a steak platter, and it was a sight to behold - a massive wooden cutting board packed with steak, transported by two waiters.
