I clicked next, and sure enough, there was one: a 60-minute Intro to DJing session with Devon at Washburn Studios In that hour, Devon walked me through turntables and mixers, and by the end I was mixing two songs together. I had so much fun that I signed up for the full DJ program. Classes are self-paced, which made it easy to fit around a full-time job, and I finished in about a year. When Washburn launched its DJ collective, I applied, and I've been playing live with them ever since. Now I'm back as a student in the music production program. What really sets Washburn apart is the community. Everyone has been kind and supportive at every step. Washburn came into my life during a rough stretch and helped me find something I truly love. Looking back, I feel like a completely different person from the one who found Devon through Blueboard. I've struggled with speaking up and presenting at work, and playing live has given me confidence that carries into my professional life. In addition, I never imagined I'd be DJing in San Francisco clubs. With DJing and production the learning never stops, and Washburn gives you the support and structure to keep growing. Devon has been a fantastic teacher, mentor, and friend. I am glad to have Devon and Washburn in my life and I am excited to continue the never ending journey with them. If you love music, are curious about DJing, or want to start making your own beats, I can't recommend Washburn Studios highly enough.

Laid down vocals and 12-string guitar for a folky track. Danny B. the engineer I worked with was incredible - really flexible and meticulous with understanding my vision and making it happen. Did a three-mic setup for the guitar - and it sounds INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend for recording anything from simple folky acoustic all the way up to full band and everywhere in between. This place is straight up legit and captured my music in a way I'm not sure other studios could have. Again highly recommend working with Danny if you can. Prices are also pretty reasonable - will def be recording more here when I get the chance.

He's a fun and professional to collaborate with, and I'm beyond happy with how my song sounds as a finished product. I've been producing on Ableton for a few years, and I was specifically looking to work with someone in studio to learn and improve my mixes in general. I spent a few hours with Chris in his Oakland studio and learned so much during that time. It was one of the most informative sessions I've had since I started making music! Chris shared numerous different techniques and workflow tips with me while making suggestions and helping refine my track. It's clear that he's an expert in Ableton, but is also generous in sharing his knowledge. After our in-person session, we collaborated for another week or so via phone/e-mail through the mastering process. Throughout this process, he was thorough, patient, and gave invaluable feedback and recommendations - all while communicating effectively. Something I really appreciate about working with Chris is that he makes suggestions and gives honest feedback, but also makes sure that he respects the original vision for what the track should sound like. He makes suggestions but never pushes or makes it feel like you're straying or altering your original track. I look forward to working with Chris again! Highly recommend Mothership Studio.

We fell in love with REB6's emotional storytelling style and we were instantly sold. We originally planned to have a wedding with 200+ guests in December 2020. Unfortunately, COVID was surging during that time, so we decided to downsize to a microwedding. We continued to work with the majority of our vendors including REB6Studios. Our experience with Sig and his team was exceptional and the final product will be cherished for a lifetime. When we changed venues and significantly reduced our guest list, Sig was very understanding and accommodating given our situation. We mainly communicated via email and he was always responsive, helpful, and professional. On the day of the wedding, Sig and Mariane were very detail oriented, adhered to the wedding timeline, gave incredible direction, and worked well with our photographer. When we received our highlights video, we were blown away. It was like watching a movie of our wedding day and it perfectly captured all the emotions and events of the day. The editing and production value were of the highest quality. We also opted to get the ceremony cut so all our friends and family who were unable to attend would be able to watch the big day. On our first anniversary, my husband and I watched our video together. It brought back all the feels as REB6Studios was able to capture the love and happiness we felt on our special day. If you want a top notch videographer who is passionate about their work and will provide you with the most creative, beautiful, and tear-jerking film, look no further than REB6Studios! We booked REB6Studios for our wedding because after watching their films you can tell they have everything you'd want in a wedding video: all the emotional and fun moments captured with amazing cinematography, perfect music and tearjerking storytelling. We received our wedding video earlier than expected and it blew us away. All the shots were beautiful, carefully put together with many details weaved into the film. REB6Studios even incorporated audio from the speeches, and the bride and groom letter readings from before the ceremony. They included many heartfelt stories from our night, such as the emotional moments mentioned in those speeches and letters. The best part is they perfectly balanced the happy and emotional moments, also including the extra fun scenes like the reception dance performances, money dance, and dance floor footage! The video overall made my wife and I cry (in a good way!) because we got to relive all the amazing emotions. After sharing our video on social media, so many people have told us how it made them cry as well. Additionally, Sig and Mariane were super professional, experienced, friendly and easy to be with! My wife and I felt comfortable the whole day with them. I also noticed they're very detail-oriented and attentive, they always have their eyes on you (in a good way as well!) because they understand how important you are as the bride and groom. They worked seamlessly with our photographers, too! Thanks to REB6Studios, my wife and I will never forget how special are wedding was; we can relive all these moments, and relive all the feelings over and over. Can't wait for our family members to get married next so we can suggest REB6Studios, and I'll always be recommend them to everyone. Definitely check them out! :)

Over the course of my career as a wedding photographer, I've worked with countless videographers…read moreand video companies, and Jesse Garrison and his team at Love Unique Studios are among the very best in the SF Bay Area. We first worked together in 2014 on a lavish three-day Indian wedding with a lot of moving parts. We immediately clicked: we both bring a cinematic aesthetic to our work, so our preferences in lighting matched up nicely. While our working styles aren't identical, I appreciate that Jesse respects the needs of other vendors and takes a collaborative approach. He communicates clearly about how he plans to set up and what he intends to do, and he'll adjust when needed (though I do my best to respect his needs too). Weddings aren't just about the photo or video -- they're about the client experience, and Jesse understands this. He's wildly creative without pulling focus from the couple's grounded experience. We bounce ideas off each other, and I like to think we both come away with shots we might not have gotten otherwise. Another quality I value in Jesse is his calm demeanor. His approach is deliberate and precise -- he knows exactly what he wants, which makes him incredibly efficient when setting up creative shots. And his love of film and cinematography always comes through in the final product. He somehow takes an already lovely wedding and cranks up the storytelling through his editing and style. If you need a creative videographer who's a team player and delivers a cinematic experience, Love Unique Studios is a great fit.
