Knabe & Co. baby grand had not been cleaned in decades -- likely since it was built in 1939. Jack Templeton gave it the kind of care and attention it deserved; a meticulous (and miraculous) deep cleaning, a tuning with careful pitch adjustment, and even lubrication of the pedals. Beyond the excellent craftsmanship, he brought a big smile, a friendly tolerance of our nosy golden retriever, and deep knowledge of his craft.
