I was so impressed that Steve took the time to make eye contact with my daughter and carefully explained the seriousness of the responsibility of caring for an instrument. Then, when we returned her trumpet this summer (my daughter was ready to try something else), we signed her up for weekly guitar lessons. The lessons are very affordable and her evening class worked perfectly with my work schedule. I COULD NOT BE MORE HAPPY that Steve is teaching guitar to my daughter. Without getting too personal, I will say this - I believe this incredibly talented, sensitive, generous professional young man would be an excellent teacher for ANY child or adult. I recently found that the snare drum stand at my church was broken, a day before my Sunday morning Praise and Worship Session! Zak was there, and had exactly what I needed. I have known many piano tuners over the years, and always found that the traditional tuners who start with a tuning fork (and Not an iPhone) are the best. Mike did a fantastic job, was on time and had very reasonable rates. Much better rates and service than my last three tuners. Mike is my tuner for as long as I am in Richmond! I highly recommend Mike for all piano work!
