I came in looking for a wine rack and found it along with a few other things. The prices are okay, somethings are a little more expensive than it would be at Ross or TJMaxx. I just try and research prices for things st other places before i go to make sure I'm getting a good deal. The staff is always very helpful as well. They usually only have one register open but there's never been a time where I've been in there and had to wait longer than a few minutes.

The new location is just up the street about a block or two. My husband and I like mid-century modern furniture so Area has been on our list to check out for a while. I had been to their Greensboro location before, but never their Durham location. The store is fairly large with a concentration on couches and chairs. We went in look for a desk and they really only had one option so it wasn't a big hit for us. We liked quite a few of the light fixtures so we will probably be heading back in to purchase those. The person working who I am assuming is the owner was friendly, as others have said he was happy to answer questions, but not pushy at all.

Did a Rooms To Go delivery driver damage your property? Let me break this process down to save you…read moretime and frustration. Rooms To Go (RTG) contracts a company called SEIDS for delivery. SEIDS, in turn, hires careless third-party contractors to facilitate the deliveries. When these contractors damage your property--and they almost certainly will--Rooms To Go will pass you off to SEIDS to file a claim (the fine print in your RTG contract states that you cannot hold them liable for property damage). SEIDS then proceeds to lowball and delay for weeks or months until you get frustrated and give up, all while reminding you repeatedly that the driver is an independent contractor and solely responsible for any damage caused. Basically, two multimillion-dollar companies, with all their assets and infrastructure, choose to pit working-class people against each other rather than doing the right thing--which would be to treat property damage as part of their operating expenses. Corporate cowardice at its finest. DO NOT sign off on your furniture delivery until you've inspected all of your property--walkways, stairwells, walls, etc. The moment you find damage, you need to file a claim with RTG and IMMEDIATELY start reaching out to licensed contractors. Per SEIDS, you must provide two (2) quotes, and they must be on business letterhead, itemized, and detailed for repair of the damaged area only to be considered valid. Better yet, shop elsewhere--Rooms To Go furniture is garbage, just like their customer care.

The store can feel cluttered but has great selection. I always go here for olive oil or salt and pepper because it is always cheaper here than in the store. I also love the teas they have. Nice furniture options too, but can be pricey compared to At Home. The staff is always nice and the lines are long but never take forever to get through.

You can find British favorites (lots of Cadbury, mince pies, marmite, Walkers, Christmas crackers) to tons of Asians snacks (unique varieties of KitKats, ramens and Pocky's) to Italian heaven, all sorts of pastas, tinned fish, etc. WorldMarket is a great place to easily put together a care package for someone you love.
