I have…read morebeen in the design and construction industry for over 35 years and can report that their quality, attention to detail, and hands-on commitment to perfection is unequaled. The business is operated by two brothers who are both hands-on in the design and installation of all systems. They recently completed an 8,000sf house with 2,000sf garage and 2,000sf heated driveway apron for me. The system was a multi-manifold, multi-valve modulated condensing boiler system that required a very high level of expertise for installation. Kyle Smith personally completed the majority of the install, and every aspect of his work was completed to perfection. My copper piping work is so perfect that other subcontractors often photograph it!! I give them my very highest recommendation and assure that you can trust them with any project, large or small, simple or complex. Thanks Kyle and Ryan!!

5 star on quality but 2 star on communication around pricing…read more Work was good but pricing could have been more transparent. Had them out and initially quoted $956 plus the cost of the install of customer provided shower which they didn't know at the time, ended up being $1,635. We did add in dishwasher connection. They "threw in" the laundry sink connect because the bill had blown up to alot more than what they originally communicated. Not all of that was their fault, the shower drain needed replumbing but never a good feeling when bill is over double of what is quoted originally so that was disappointing.

Off the top, Hometown Plumbing fixed my plumbing problem. The guy was friendly, and I didn't feel…read morepressed to use his services. All good. Not-so-good. When the old water line was cut (within the drywall of the interior home room) the guy wasn't paying attention, leaving the cut and going out to his van. There was a LOT of residue water in the line and had I not been watching and able to capture the drainage at least a gallon of water would've spilled between the drywall and the house frame. Little to no ventilation in that space assuredly would've led to mildew and perhaps the need to replace drywall. Secondly, before leaving I noticed he hadn't used any foam fill between the outside wall and the spigot. I asked about it and he said, "It doesn't need it". Malarky! It was needed and I applied it myself after a run to the store. This was just laziness on his part. Yeah, if in a pinch again and Hometown was the only shop available to fix I'd go with them again. Otherwise, I'll look elsewhere for plumbing needs.
