It still takes couple more months of heeling process to see the full effects. Dr. Sam was super helpful. She never upsells you anything unless you ask her for advice and she will honestly suggest you the treatments that's not their more expensive treatment, only based on your need. Also, she would clear all my white heads automatically before each treatment without me asking. I even had an acne wouldn't go away for a few weeks and she thought I might need injection for that. But after she inspected it, she just extracted it while she was clearing my white heads and said the pus had became superficial since I had been using her acne solution so no injection needed. For real, she would never force anything on you or rip you off. She's so caring to keep asking for my feelings during the treatments. I will come back to her for another session of treatments to maintain in the coming winter.

The visual results were small but I didn't experience major break outs in the 4 months until my next peel (aka a miracle). She described light peels as "chipping away" at the problems (for me, milder acne scars and hyperpigmentation and larger pores). 2nd peel: We went for a medium peel and I certainly peeled! Which was great. The results were more obvious (but still subtle), with less texture and smaller pore in a patch of skin with acne scars. I can see that some of my dark spots faded a few shades. Raissa is a lovely, warm person and very competent at her work. Her clean, lovely room is located in Bravo Hair Salon with plenty of parking in a garage off Lake Ave. (Be sure to directly put in the address! There is a different Brave salon in Pasadena closer to my home and I always accidentally drive there first!)

Sue was very informative through every step and customized my facial to what my skin needed and of course, what I wanted. I've been traveling a lot and my face needed some TLC, so I let Sue know that it is probably dehydrated. Thus, she recommended and did the following treatments on me: - Microdermabrasion - diamond tip wand that polishes to reveal a brighter, smoother glowing complexion - This was such an interesting feeling, it felt like a suction taking away my impurities. - Pomegranate and Cranberry Enzyme - exfoliates, detoxes, calms and hydrates the skin - This helped with the whiteheads that I had from dehydration and not exfoliating often - Extractions - deep cleaning of the pores - I'm all for extractions :) - LED Light Therapy - reduces fine lines and wrinkles, increases collagen production, anti-bacterial - 24K Gold Mask - lifts, calms, hydrates, antioxidant properties slow down aging of the skin - it covered your whole face and has a jelly-like texture Overall, my experience was very positive with Sue and for first-time facial people, I would highly recommend her. I left with my skin feeling really refreshed and glowing.
