Not bad, Bistro 101, not bad at all…read more.. My family of 3 decided to dine at Bistro 101 for lunch before heading back home from our little staycation here at Graton. Since we already had our fill of steaks, seafood, and Asian cuisine, I decided my tastebuds needed something a little more simplistic and normal to eat. That is what you will find at Bistro 101-American comfort foods at it's finest. All day breakfast is served if you're into that kinda thing. Lunch consisted of: *COMPLIMENTARY HOUSE-MADE CHIPS AND DIP *FIVE-ACRE CRUDITE: fresh veggies, hummus, and rye breadcrumbs [which i did not receive]. *CALIFORNIA CLASSIC- SINGLE w/ FRIES: cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, American cheese, secret sauce, on a brioche bun. *BOHEMIAN BOWL: turmeric quinoa, roasted sweeet potato, avo, spinach, pickled onions, chick peas, cabbage, cucumber, cashews, tahini dressing *BUILD YOUR OWN OMELET: choice of 3 ingredients + your choice of toast. We went with mozzarella, peppers, onions, and ham with sourdough bread. *STEAK + FRIES [for takeout]- requested for medium rare. fries couldn't be substituted for anything else unfortunately. House-made chips and dip is addictively good. My daughter literally ate up the dip. The cruite plate was absolutely stunning- beautiful on the eyes and great going down to the tummy. My only complaints with this was the pre-cut, thinly sliced cucumbers which took away from the crunch and the hummus being more on the sweeter side. The rest of the plate was full of fresh, vibrant veggies that I really enjoyed. The california classic was great- just your traditional burger and fries. The bun was toasted well yet still had the soft brioche aspect you come to expect. The bohemian bowl was a bad choice on my end. Just like the hummus being a bit too sweet for my tastebuds, so was the tahini dressing. I needed a bit more citrus to cut into that rich, sweetness. The omelet was great and my little monster got kicks out of the stingy cheese pulls that never seemed to stop. I'd come back specifically for the five-acre crudite and i'll be giving the Cobble Gobble a try as well. 4/5 stars, food is good and although the service is slow, the staff does a good enough job.

** | Extremely Disappointing Experience at Acme Burger** I've given Acme Burger three chances, but each time, I've walked away disappointed. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which initially gave me hope for a great meal. However, the burgers themselves are blah. Each time I've visited, the burgers have had no taste, lacking any seasoning or flavor. It's baffling how a burger joint can miss the mark so consistently on the main item they serve. For a place that specializes in burgers, this is truly unacceptable. The patties are bland and unappetizing, and I often find myself wondering if they forgot to season the meat altogether. Without any flavor, the experience feels like chewing on a tasteless piece of cardboard. Even with various toppings, the core issue remains: the burgers simply do not taste good. Despite the pleasant service, the quality of the food leaves much to be desired. I won't be returning to Acme Burger, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere if you're craving a flavorful and satisfying burger. Save your time and money for a place that knows how to make a burger worth eating. read more

Acme Burger has its hits and misses, but it's an interesting spot for anyone exploring the area. Starting with their signature burger, I'd say the portion size is decent, and the texture is well-executed. It's a little on the pricier side, but considering the neighborhood, that's fairly standard. Unfortunately, the burger patties themselves were surprisingly bland and could definitely use a bit more seasoning to make the flavors pop. However, Acme Burger redeemed itself with their chicken tenders! These were perfectly fried to a satisfying crunch, and the seasoning was on point, giving them a flavorful boost that stood out. They felt like a hidden gem on the menu, offering a satisfying alternative if the burger doesn't quite hit the mark for you. Overall, Acme Burger may not win you over with their patties, but there are definitely some enjoyable elements if you're open to trying more than just the classics. read more

Instead, everything was sitting out in the open, and condiments are only offered in lidless, open cups ready to spill all over the place. When I politely asked the girl at the counter to please put our order into a bag, she gave me immediate attitude and turned passive-aggressive. Super friendly people who have no problem with accommodating special requests. For example I asked if they could add a slice of cheese and was asked "Swiss, Cheddar, American"? . That's music to my ears! Second- the ingredients. I love that they feature locally sourced bread products. Mine was prepared with Franco-American sourdough. And it's always fantastic! Third- Unlike a lot of club sandwiches, you don't have to decide between turkey or ham, they include both! And if you aren't a fan of either, they do offer a chicken club option. The final verdict! Five star awesome! The sandwich was perfectly stacked with tons of meat products. And extra credit for the extra large slice of cheddar cheese which covered the entire sandwich. I was rattling off various restaurant names and food options when suddenly someone mentioned pizza! Now I've had pizza from several different places in town, none of which interested me or my co-worker then I remembered that this particular Acme location had a pizza oven from the prior restaurant (RIP Flamez), so I brought it up. We agreed to order the pizza and a salad to share. Now they only have1 pizza size to chose from (10") which just comes with cheese, if you want any other toppings it's an additional fee. We added pepperoni, sweet Italian sausage and red onions. I then looked at the salad options and ordered the South West Salad and decided to add red onions and avocado to it at an additional fee. I also chose ranch dressing. In addition I ordered a Dr. Pepper drink for my co-worker. It took approximately 40 minutes from start to delivery. PFT is pretty darn accurate on their times unlike those other delivery services. When our order arrived, the pizza was the perfect temperature as well as the salad, and the ice was not melted in the drink. About the only thing that we didn't get were plates, forks, napkins and I was surprised that we didn't get the ranch dressing for the salad. Nothing like having a "dry" salad. So we grabbed a bunch of paper towels and ate the pizza, my co-worker drank his Dr. Pepper. Since we weren't given any utensils or salad dressing we put the salad in the refrigerator until today and I brought paper plates, plastic forks and salad dressing from home. The salad was good and filling. About the only thing I would say is it would be nice if this restaurant would include utensils, plates, napkins, etc., and double check to make sure they put the salad dressing in the box with the salad. But again the salad was still good the next day and the pizza was above average.
