Five stars!? What? For me it's deserved for several reasons! 1. Service was totally friendly from start to finish. They have a "no problem!" attitude and it was appreciated by some of the picky ones in my group! 2. Prices were great! Having just spent $14 for a turkey burger at a different restaurant, I was surprised that this one was around $8 and it included avocado. (Granted the fries were separate but a split order was sufficient so maybe $2 more.) 3. The outdoor patio is covered and there are heaters available to make it even more comfortable. It had a really relaxed vibe when we were there. Many of the (appropriately distanced) tables were full and hey were cleaning them off between guests. 4. Food and drinks were alllll great! My beer was perfectly cold, hubby's fresh strawberry shake was creamy. He got the fried chicken sandwich and gave it a thumbs up! Chicken was not dry and crust was flavorful and crunchy. I got a turkey burger and it was delicious. It was a special and I can't remember the name so forgive me but it had lettuce and tomato, avocado mushrooms and this beautifully crafted garlic aïoli. It was so so good. We split an order of tater tots and couldn't even finish all of them. Their house made ranch was the perfect condiment to dip the fried potato bites. A casual, fun place with friendly staff and tasty food... definitely a win in my book! read more

Definitely a place to go if your driving thru the area. We usually get a burger on our way home from camping, we Yelped For best Burger & Acme burger had the highest rating , so we set this place on Waze and arrived. I was expecting a Big Burger Joint in its own building but nevertheless don't let looks from the outside determine on what's happening on the inside. This truly was one of the better burgers we've ordered in some time. The fries were okay, and the Onion Rings were outstanding. The price point for the food we recieved was fair. Thank you Yelpers for the great reviews of this " Burger Joint" if I'm in the Cotati area and craving a burger, I'm definitely bookmarking this spot. This is a great relatively new hot spot! They have flame broiled burgers with all the fixings and much more! They have yummy garlic fries, which are thin and crispy and super garlicy, and they're not chintzy with the portions. My absolute favorite is the onion rings and again you always get plenty, they're so good and crunchy and crispy and exactly the way you want a good onion ring to be! They have indoor seating as well as an adorable covered patio area with picnic tables as well as picnic tables outside in front of the restaurant. And they have WINE and more importantly good wine! I hate to say I'm a lil bit of a wine snob that's why it makes me so happy to be able to get a great burger with a delicious glass of wine! They have a good selection, especially for a burger place! Your entire family will be very happy to grab a delicious burger dinner to go! Our first time to dine since the dreaded Covid 19. The folks working here were so friendly & accommodating! But most importantly, efficient! Really a perfect staff. The double Cod (burger) sandwich was perfectly cooked! Delicious, 5 stars! We shared it. Definitely a must. Their onion rings are probably the frozen kind, not fresh sliced onions with a panko crunchy. So 4 stars, good, just not next level like their cod! Went to an Acme Burger joint for the first time. Ordered a single patty Acme Burger and asked to hold the tomato, lettuce, special sauce. My server at the counter was friendly and competent and added to the experience. I asked for an add on of carmelized onions thinking that they would be like onions off the grill. No such luck. The caramelizing tasted more burnt than sweet. Also their seasoned salt was a bit much for me. The bun and the burger and the service was great so I'm going to try again at the one here in Petaluma. If I'm in Cotati going to Oliver's I'm pretty sure I'll go for another Acme Burger either before or after! read more

Well. I tried again. Really went downhill. The meat in burgers is not round but small angular and dried up. Fries which used to be enough for two people is half the size but cost more. Sweet potatoe fries old and dry. And as always, make sure you check order before leaving as they forget salad dressing , Cole slaw or something nearly every time. It was just okay. Atomic sauce is no good - it's weirdly sweet. Truffle fries are good. Burger was just meh. Pickles were not dill they were sweet - yuck. Who wants a sweet pickle with a hamburger? I doubt I'll go back - still trying to find a good burger in Sonoma. read more

I will never waste my time going back there. They advertise opening at 11:00 and I go to work at noon so I thought this would be perfect. I arrived at 10:50 and waited outside to enter and order. During my time standing out front several employees arrived to start there day. I saw the employees moving around inside. They didn't open at 11:00 as advertised so I continued to wait. First takes of Acme Burger Short line, good setup for our current pandemic with hand sanitizer on the tables and plastic protective barriers for cashier/customer. Seats inside for people to wait for to-go orders and adequate seating outside on their patio. Food: Came out in a timely matter, actually pretty quick compared to most places. Food was hot and looked amazing. First bite of the chicken sandwich (listed under burgers on their menu) was crunchy and super tender. The sauce they use was delicious as well. Garlic fries were perfectly cooked and had a strong taste of garlic probably being deep fried in oil that contained garlic and then garlic minced on top as well. Some condiments are available in pre measured containers for hygiene (ketchup etc.) Overall would STRONGLY recommend them for a fantastic chicken sandwich and their amazing customer service! read more

Let me begin this with saying I plan on coming back again, and again, and likely again. After my sandwich lunch plans fell through, my boyfriend and I decided to give up on those plans and head to cotati to try this new burger joint I happened to walk past a couple times. We came in on a Sunday for late lunch and there was a tiny line. Walk in and you'll notice a large menu to hung on the wall. Lots of options! Pick your base( chicken, turkey, fish, your classic burger, impossible burger!), choose any add ons you like, they offer salads, quite a bit of sides, beer and wine as well. You order at the counter, then take a seat and wait for your name to be called to grab your order. As for seating, they have quite a bit of tables inside as well as a cute vine covered outdoor patio. I went with the impossible burger, no hummus sub awesome sauce (basically thousand island dressing), then for add ons I got avocado, caramelized onions, and pepper jack cheese, ordered the arugula salad, side of fries, and the boyfriend got a single patty with cheddar and jack cheese, and bacon. Food came out fairly quick. First I was pleasantly surprised how big the salad was, was expecting it to be smaller. It was delicious as well! Topped with fruits, goat cheese, and candied walnuts (yummmmmm). Next, oh man, my veggie burger was on point! The bun was fluffy, the patty was cooked just right, and wrapped all together with the goodies was mm mmmm goood! And even though the bf originally just wanted a turkey sandwich, he was incredible impressed and happy with his own burger. We will certainly be back to satisfy our burger cravings. read more

We just had the worst experience there. We came in for the special, we were told what was included but we were up-charged for what we thought was included. We asks for an explanation and were given attitude. We tried 3 times then cancelled the order and left. We talked to a few others who been there recently and they had similar experiences. Hope management there does something about this we've gone there for years, never encountered this attitude, but aren't going back if nothing changes!!! read more
