Aaron suggested a good Samsung micro SD to upgrade my device and was nice enough to even research updated pricing. After installation Aaron was patient and answered my questions and walked me through installing the phone app and showed me how to work the basics. Very professional experience with Aaron at Ace Dashcam. I brought a Viofo for Aaron to install and the dashcam was installed very well w/ cables perfectly hidden. Also purchased a Blackvue from Aaron for my wife's Sienna and it was also very well done. Sidenote on the dashcam brands themselves: Having a few weeks with both brands, I do recommend getting a Blackvue from Aaron. Had my dashcam installed week of 8/23 - he mentioned that he was on vacation (I made initial contact week of 8/9), which could explain why the other 1-star reviewer on 8/14 was unsuccessful in booking. Aaron is professional and addressed many of my concerns. I knew I didn't want to get the Blackvue DR750X-2ch Plus installed at just any stereo/alarm place - because who knows if they leave wires hanging, or other electronics in your car randomly stop working? For the assurance of a professional install, it was worth driving out an hour plus to have Aaron do a clean install with all wiring concealed behind the interior trim panels. Aaron has a lifetime guarantee on his install - which is great! I'm sure, short of the dashcam malfunctioning, I won't need to go back for any adjustments. I hadn't dealt with the interface before, but after reading the user manual and downloading the phone app, it was easy to connect and get set up. I hope I can eventually get a hotspot added to the car so I can view footage when I'm not within 30' of the car. The dashcam has a nifty option of direct WiFi to view footage if you don't have a home WiFi to get the dashcam and viewer on the same network. One other thing, while there are a couple of places in walking distance - it's best to get a Uber/Lyft to a local coffee shop to wait. Additionally, with the Subaru being a hatchback, I knew that improper cable routing can lead to water leakage into the trunk space, during rainfall. I reached out to Aaron, he responded within minutes, and during our conversation he recommended some specific cabling and accessories, including Vantrue's OBD Hardwire Power Cable Kit, which lets the camera record while the car is parked.
