Aaron installed a front and rear BlackVue 750S ch2 dashcam set in my 2018 Sunshine Orange Subaru Crosstrek today. Beautiful job, all wires well hidden, secured, and behind the safety curtains. When he told me how to do everything after completed, it was all recorded by the camera and is now saved on my iMac for reviewing, I wanted to turn the voice recording OFF right off the bat, Aaron suggested leaving in on for now, not saying why. I learned afterwards when viewing the first videos that his was excellent experienced advice. The only possible complaint that I can now bring to his attention would have been to advise me that working in a garage he had turned off the headlights. They have been on Automatic for the past year that I have had the car. Who'd have thought that you had to physically turn on a headlight switch to have all of the dashboard lights light up DOHH. After a year of not bothering with that switch, I forgot about it until it rained that night coming home from dinner. I cannot remove a star for that though as not everyone has automatic headlights. Aaron and his company Ace Dash Cam have been on my radar for the past two years due to the consistent high reviews for his quality work and professionalism. When I purchased my Subaru Forester in 2020, I knew that it would be in my best interest to install a dash cam due to the increased "hazardous situations" out on the roads nowadays. With finally a little break from Covid confinement, I sent out a few requests for quotes for prices and installation for a Blackvue 900X 2-CH system. Although I did receive some much appreciated replies from other various Vendors, Aaron was the only one who responded with a comprehensive, detailed list and price breakdown of what will be needed to ensure a successful installation. We corresponded via Yelp messaging to confirm the details and set up our appointment date and time for 3/21/22. Due to Covid safety factors, Customers aren't currently allowed to wait inside his Showroom area during the installation period. So I brought my own folding shade chair, a huge iced coffee, and my iPad for entertainment while I waited for approximately 2 1/2 hours for the work to be completed. I had purchased my own, as I did not see the model I wanted on their site. The installation was quoted at 3 hours and was finished a bit after 2 hours, so they were VERY efficient. They suggested a longer cable to the rear camera so it could be routed in such a way as to not interfere with the side air bags, which I not only appreciated, but felt important. They even re-routed a cable from my alarm system that WAS in front of an air bag, so it wouldn't interfere. I originally contacted AceDashcam for a quote via Yelp on a Friday morning at 2AM. Aaron responded within 20 minutes. I was surprised about how fast he responded, but it made me feel like he really cared about his customers. I did kind of feel bad, though -- in my mind, I woke him up and his dedication to customer satisfaction caused him to write a response ASAP, haha. After some incidents with my car being hit while parked I decided to get a dash cam, but I did not want a bunch of loose wires hanging from my windshield. I researched cameras and decidedly the BlackVue 900. Camera is fantastic and Aaron recommended it as well. I was going to buy it on Amazon but Arron sold it for the same price. When I was researching to get it installed I was having a hard time finding a place I trusted to hardwire it into the vehicle. People told me to take it to an audio place but I didn't think that they would be the best. I thought I could do it myself by watching YouTube videos, I was wrong!!! It's complicated and you have to know where to put it to avoid the airbags. As soon as I heard airbags I was out, I did not want to mess with those! That's why I was so happy when I found Aaron, he is extremely professional and does a very clean job in hiding all the wires and avoids the airbags. He set everything up and the car was retired to me exactly how I gave it to him but now I had a functional dash camera system.
