Just completed a move and Mike and Doug with Ace were life savers! After calling multiple moving companies and not wanting to shell out $600 my husband and I decided to rent a U-Haul and have friends help. Ace Moving Services was recommended at the end of my U-Haul on-line reservation. $100 for two hours and $50 for each additional hour was the price for two movers. Really a great deal! We picked the U-Haul and when we arrived back to our apartment at 8:30 AM Mike and Doug had arrived early and went to right to work. Special care was taken with our home furnishings. I had bubble wrapped everything and plastic wrapped everything else. When I explained my concerns with Mike he assured me that they would take special care with my things. Sure enough they helped wrap my belongings to avoid dents and scratches and when moving my items took special precautions. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment up two flights of stairs. Mike and Doug had us packed and headed to our new place in two hours! Unpacking only took an hour! By noon we were moved into our new townhome! I highly recommend Ace and if you're lucky you will get Mike and Doug. These two worked fast, were polite and fun to talk with. Beware this company has been sold to an alternate owner. We've used the previous company and was very impressed. The new owner Mike is terrible. He quoted us $700 for loading a pod and charged us 4x that amount. And they didn't even unload it!!! They come equipped with nothing. Including wrapping pads, tv boxes, or any sorts of moving materials other than a dolly. They broke a lamp and also left all their trash all Over the place. Even took apart items and left pieces unmarked and on the ground. Honestly, multiple reasons not to use this company. I'll give one star as the actual movers were nice people but the company is a total SCAM!! read more

These guys were great. We had a 17' foot truck coming from Chicago that was poorly packed to say the least (by our inexperienced movers in Chicago who took 4 hours with my help for two of them) and these guys rocked it. Everything out and in our place in 2.5 hours and this could've been 1.5 easy if we had all our stuff in boxes. Mike is great, all his guys just go go go the whole time which is what you want. After a long ass drive you know all you want is to get the stuff inside and get rid of that huge truck which you can't park anywhere unless you're living in 1920 San Diego :) read more

Just absolutely terrible. If I could give the gentleman on the phone 4 stars for kindness I would, but who was sent out to our home... negative 100 stars. They were SO LAZY, stole 40 minutes of time (out of 2 hours mind you) to smoke cigarettes, all while stinking up boxes and furniture. Terrible. We have a one bedroom apartment. Moved one year ago, with with a different packing/moving company, and it took them 3 hours to pack and load everything into the truck. We have the same amount of items. ACE gave us a 3 hour estimate. In the morning, 2 people arrived to pack. The rest of the movers didn't show up until 3PM. While setting up the move, we informed ACE that our building only allows moves up to 4:30PM- multiple times to be very clear. As you could imagine, this created a lot of stress when the main movers didnt show up until 3PM. Needless to they didnt make finish in time. The long time packing did not mean quality packing. Also, when asked to pack something in a box, they blatantly ignored me. After insisting two more times, they said they would do it later, and left 10 minutes later without doing it. We've come across 7 broken glasses as well as multiple other broken and damaged items, including furniture. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. read more

We ordered a new 2 sick vanity from Home Depot and needed it to be moved upstairs. I called a few mover in the area and told them what we need & did not get a return phone call. When I called Ace I was informed of their minimum service for 2 hours was $189.00. I told them the vanity had a marble top and was very heavy and two men could not move it so we decided the 4 men would be fine & the cost would be $289.00. We set up the date & time . My wife was home at the time for the movers & I got there a few minutes after they arrived. The vanity had already been moved upstairs. I asked the owner where are the other two men, he explained that he wanted to make certain he needed 2 more men before the job was done He didn't and the charge was $189.00. They were very professional and helpful. I will definitely use them again & refer them if the opportunity arises. read more

Found these guys off MovingHelp. I just needed unloading and for $120, I got 2 guys for 2 hours. They were on time and the owner called me right after I placed my order. Very professional. Only reason why I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they did leave some scratches on my door when moving a large couch. Would use again. read more

Found ace moving on the uhual site and after doing a yelp search, decided to use them to pack a 26 foot truck. Mike and Mike came out and did an awesome job. The loading took a little longer then i expected but it was because i needed certain things to be loaded last because they were being dropped off at a 2n d spot. read more

I don't know why these guys don't have more reviews but they are AWESOME! I have done several moves both on my own and with professional military moves. When it comes to loading a truck Anthony can pack that thing better than united or mayflower. He was very careful with the furniture I wanted to be careful of. When I arrived at my destination not only had nothing moved in that truck but my furniture did not have any scratches, dings, or dents. My walls had no scuffs, dings, or dents either. I used Ace Moving Services to load my truck in TierraSanta area. They arrived right on time. Mike and Jose were BEASTS. They had my entire 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment loaded in the truck in 50 minutes. I was planning to tip $20 each, but after I saw how efficient they were, I had my wife run out to the ATM so we could tip a little more. They were also the cheapest quote on the U-haul website. It cost like $160 for 2 movers for 2 hours, but I was very happy they finished in less than one. TIP: They let me know how appreciative they were that we were actually packed and ready for them. Don't hire movers until you are completely in boxes and furniture is wrapped up, OR you can hire them to help you pack. Just let them know what you need from them.
