Plus you get parking right up next to the train car. The parlor car offered spacious, comfortable seating, VIP time with Santa Claus, a hot adult beverage, or nonalcoholic version, bottled water, snacks, Christmas cookies, and a great narrative of the ride. You're also allowed to walk the length of the train, but you need to have a wristband so you can get back into the parlor car area. Be prepared for lots of traffic as you drive to the train station from other parts of the Bay Area. Traffic is bad during the winter if not always. The train leaves right on time so you do not want to be late. Also, the railroad provides very detailed and helpful instructions about how to get to the depot and how to navigate the parking and other systems. They have outside train cars and inside train cars so you can choose what type of seat you want. This is definitely been worth the money and should become a holiday.

I elected to ride in a car with lights on so I could stay awake and enjoy the scenery. There were several people using the tables to work on their laptops. You can sit in a section with 4 seats facing each other and a table in between or 2 seats together with no table. They do have the cars at the rear with lights off in case you want to sleep. It appeared to be about 80% full in my car and a lot of folks got off in Santa Clara to hop on the various buses to get to work. A great experience overall!

They have so many delays on a daily basis. 3. The price is just not worth it. Especially with just the 2 reasons above. $300 for a month is outrageous. Maybe fix the issues first.

Bus driver Route C bus 2101 Took his break abd qhen he hot back on jñthe bus just closed the doors behind hum abs was ready to drive away. I was sitting out there when he arrived and he was sitting yhere with the doors open. When I approached he closed the bus doors. Then he got off the bus and walked away. So he knew i wanted ro get on bus, but he was ready to leave me behind.

They have several garbage cans and the station looked very clean. I also noticed that there is no easy way to go from one side of the station to the other, the only way to cross is by walking all the way to Fremont Boulevard and then crossing there. There are parking lots on both sides of the railroad tracks and they are separated by a fence so like I said, if you need to go to the other side, just walk all the way to Fremont Boulevard and then cross. You have to pay for parking and they have machines where you can pay by using a credit card. They also have a bicycle parking locker and you can pay at the storage container. also, I did not think it was very easy to tell whether trains were running on time or not. There was a sign that was getting updated, but I still found it somewhat confusing. I think it's probably easier just to check the Amtrak app.

It's also at the transit center so you can also take local buses and the Amtrak trains. There is a parking lot on-site where you can park and ride for $5.50 all day. Depending on which zone you're getting on and off will determine the price that you pay. Just remember that you need to pay before you board. You can scan your Clipper card at their kiosks or buy one on-site. Pro tip: if you have an iPhone you can set up a digital transit card and refill your transit card with your credit card. If you're going northbound you'll have to go under the tunnel to get to the right platform. This is a pretty big station and was pretty clean.
