Bought KOD 6888 karaoke machine from this store. The salesman Raymond was so nice, courteous & so patient to explain the 2 systems & encouraged me to buy the one w/the most storage. He even called me on his day off to help me hook up the machine. His relentless help is hard to come by nowadays. Grace on the other hand, is extremely skilled in tackling the issues encountered. She walked me all the steps to reinstalled the New Pipe, we can now access millions of songs from YouTube. She also took the time to show me all the buttons & described each functions. I came here to buy an amp and speaker; staff here was very knowledgeable and friendly. I ended up buying their top of the line BMB Amp and a pair of BMB speakers. Their BMB stuff are all original and have a Certificate label for authenticity. They have a wide range of equipment and a one-stop shop for your karaoke equipment. Granted their karaoke media selection is pretty slim compared to the old LD days, but since most of the Karaoke machine have built in hard drive, it's not that big of a deal. read more

I came here to see what Karaoke equipment they offered, and though the store is big, they do not have much in stock. I assume the City of Industry place is better. Story: There was only one employee when I visited around 5pm on a weekday. I entered and didn't see anyone around at first. Then an old Chinese gentleman came out to ask what I was looking for. He didn't seem to really care and wasn't all that professional. How can I trust someone regarding AV equipment when they don't look all there? He showed me to some mic equipment but out of the 5 items, only 2 was in stock. He was hard to understand, but offered discounts on items. I ended up walking around and looking at all the equipment. I found the prices higher than stuff sold on Amazon, but they could be name brand for Karaoke. With all the reviews on Yelp, it could be a hit or miss on who you might see that helps you. I ended up grabbing the brochure that basically told me they have an online store. Take away: Call in beforehand, see how responsive they are, and see who will be there when you arrive. TIP: Look online, then go to the store and see if they can order it for you at a discount. read more

I noticed the other locations didn't get good reviews so I'm pretty glad I came here. I was looking for a new karaoke machine for my parents and my friend recommended that I come here to take a look. They had a wide selections of players and accessories but the reason I'm giving 5 stars is for the employees, mainly Joey. Joey was super helpful, answered all of my questions, and had everything ready for me. It was a smooth transaction. I have very little experience with karaoke and just needed to speak with a helpful employee.. drove all the way from Anaheim to the 8th st. store.. waited 10 min while employees walked by.. I said I just wanted help with karaoke n DJ.. she left n 10min later came back n asked if I spoke with anyone, I said no.. then she answered a phone call while I waited more.. then a guy told me he needed specific questions.. I said I just want to get started in karaoke.. he said "All u do is buy these CD's n put em in player".. that was enough for me n walked out.. The store esp in San Gabriel has become my GO-TO place to pick up any DJ and Karaoke supplies. I recently just added a FULL Karaoke systems to my DJ services and after thorough search, I found Ace Karaoke thru Yelp. Took a chance to check out the place and Gary (store manager) made me feel welcome right away. He's pretty savvy with the products. I made my first purchased a month ago. Used the system in a couple of DJ gigs in December and now I'm looking forward to making business with them again. Ace's equipment is not dependable. If you have a business I do not recommend that you purchase your equipment from this place. They have a difficult return policy that doesn't make sense and it is not consumer friendly. I have had to send microphones back to the factory only to have them work temporarily. Just recently I had to take back my Acesonic 825 mixer amplifier that is only 6 months old. All of the inputs have blown completely out. What's worse is this happened at a demo I was doing for potential client. I was talked into buying another mixer amplifier the 880. When I got it back to my office it did not contain the booklet and it did not work. I suspected the equipment to be refurbished. The salesman was very nice but the equipment is defective. I had to rent a 825 mixer amp for a gig that I had. Yes, they charged me! They would not let me return the 880 even though I purchased the same day. Instead they said they could only give me store credit. What a rip off! If you can help it stay away!!! read more

So i called ahead 24hrs, and they didn't have the machine I wanted at my nearest location (city of Industry) so I drove out to their San Gabriel location. The machine I wanted wad a $59 rental but what Carlos failed to tell me was that you needed a credit card with a $500 limit for a hold. ..Needless to say I left and they aren't getting my business. I wish I could give 0 stars!! Horrible horrible communication and customer service!! I called and me a reservation 3 weeks out of my event date. Young man at the store said that everything was good to go and that my reservation was in the books. The young man never said anything about a authorization. I called the store a day before my event date to ensure that my reservation was good. Once I got to the store the elderly man said it was a $800 authorization for the equipment. I am shopping for a Shure earphone online and find Ace Karaoke is one of the authorized dealers in Southern California. I visit this store in San Gabriel and discover that they just moved in from Chino about 6 months ago. Although I am not shopping for Karaoke equipment, their set up is very impressive with wide selection. Anyway, they do not carry the model that I want in their store but can get it from their warehouse within 3 days. Thanks to Eliset for her patient and help. I am sure I will come back when I upgrade my Karaoke equipment. My only complain is no private parking and have to park on the street. read more

We received a defective InterTech streaming Karaoke that would not power up. I looked like it had been already returned and repackaged as it was wrapped in bubble wrap. The unit would not power up, even after waiting for hours. I called Ace Karaoke and they authorized a return. We returned the unit and purchase a more expensive unit that works good. I receive email and phone call they are charging a restocking fee because they could not find a flaw in the unit. The fee was $30 which I do not care about because I have sufficient funds to take the loss. The unit they sent has multiple bad reviews on Amazon because it just doesn't work. I assume I will be paying a restocking fee of 10% and they will be selling this defective unit to another sucker. This is an unbiased review of their business. The unit they sent me after the return works great. I advise you choose another vendor and wait on purchasing the streaming units as multiple reviews report they do not work. For years I've been contemplating on whether or not to purchase a karaoke system for home use to entertain family and friends, but never took the extra step into really looking at what kind of equipment is available on the market and how it would compare to the higher end equipment at your local karaoke box. I finally took the time to see what's out there and where I can purchase my system. I came across Ace Karaoke on the internet and found that they have an extensive list of karaoke equipment from your basic magic mic to top notch products. When visiting the San Gabriel location, I was approached by Gary. He was very knowledgeable on their product lines and walked me through different scenarios based on performance level, convenience and of course, budget. After deciding on all the components for my karaoke system, I gave Gary a timeline I was hoping to receive everything in time for a Christmas Party. It was a tall order to fulfill in the amount of time we had, but he came through for me. We had a little issue with one of the components not being in stock, but Gary went far and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and did not disappoint. He even took the time out of his own schedule to deliver the products to my home in time and help set up the system to make sure it was all working properly...that's service!
