I've asked for help from employees, either get blank stares or completely opposite information of what I need. I have even been mocked for not knowing technical terms by their staff in electrical. I keep coming back and I don't know why. If you're only picking up one item, and have 30 minutes to stand in lines waiting for other people to get their crap together, then McLennans hardware is for you. As for me, I will take the extra 10 minutes instead of standing in line and drive to Home Depot or Lowe's.

Finally he said " With what " in a sarcastic tone. I told him then walked back to the bulbs. He didn't respond to me at all. Luckily I received help from both a lady and a man who were awesome. I don't know who hired the security guard but he in no way should be communicating with the public. We got a massive tree at a very reasonable price. Customer service was excellent and it had the same smell as the hardware store I used to go to for popcorn when I was a kid. The only down side, and it isn't much of one, is I wish they trimmed the tree when you bought it. When we got home we had to do a little snipping in our apartment to take care of stray branches. When I arrived, I waited around 30 minutes only to be told they couldn't find the tool. The employee helping me mentioned he was supposed to be off work already and seemed understandably frustrated. It's really disappointing to see the website list items as available, allow you to purchase them, and then find out in person that they can't be located. After standing in a long line to check out, my cashier changed from one woman to another mid ring. Weird but it happens. I noticed my two pickups rang at $2.99 each and asked her about it. She said "oh. Blue tags are for members only." I suppose errantly assuming because I wear a bra I'm not a member? (I am one.) Then she checked and said the pickups were on blue tag last month and pointed to a display near check stand. I said "Thats funny because I picked up two of these back on aisle 6 end-cap BECAUSE they were on blue tag." I told her I'd go take a photo and did and came back and showed her my phone screen. She reiterated the sale was last month. I reiterated that the price was on display in their store in washington state. She finally called the manager and price was adjusted but this left a bad impression on me. She never said "sorry for the confusion" or even "you were right." I hate retailers (and restaurants ) who display one price then charge a higher one. I'm also not keen on assumptions made about me because of my sex.

Employees are constantly restocking shelves when they have more inventory. Easy parking lot to get in and out of. They're quick to open more registers so that lines don't get too long.
