We went to Davam urgency care Thursday night, but the pain was getting more severe and lower in his jaw. Saturday, 8:30 AM Dr. Cope, our regular dentist, was out of town. His wonderful tech Chelsea was able to coach us. Saturday, 3:30 PM Luckily we found Doctor Okwen at 1488 Dental! He is an endodontist and micro surgeon that was generous with his time and compassionate enough to work on Saturday at 4 pm! He charged a fair price. He was able to extract 17 & 18!

I've never had any pain during any procedure, and it seems like a top priority of theirs to make sure there isn't any pain (i.e.checking in during everything to make sure you're comfortable) - even a major implant procedure didn't cause any pain. Genetics have predisposed me to have frequented a good number of dentists in my life and this was the first time I voluntarily wrote a review unprompted :)

Dr. Witwit was probably the best dentist I've been to in years in the sense he actually listened to what I was unsure about and took time to show and explain everything around my teeth. Kept it simple to what I wanted: a cleaning, new retainer (old one broke), and even a mold for me to keep in case I needed another retainer later. Forgot what insurance I had but it was almost entire all covered and the price for the retainer replacement was a tiny fraction of what the chain I went to before (I think it was URBN Dental) quoted. I use this place as the standard now when I look around after moving.

During the appointment, they suddenly claimed I had several cavities that were "really bad" and needed immediate laser treatment. They also pressured my wife into agreeing to pay over $600 for what was supposed to be a routine cleaning visit. They tried pressuring me too, insisting I needed treatment right away, but I decided to get a second opinion. I went to another dentist, and he confirmed that I have no cavities at all. None. All I needed was an annual cleaning--which is exactly what I came here for in the first place before being charged $600+. This feels like a complete scam. We were upsold on unnecessary treatment and I definitely do not recommend coming here.
