Kenna said, when she opened her mouth for a check up, the lady said, 'Oh girl'. It is complete mean girl behavior. Also, When I went myself I'm 47, I take very good care of my teeth, and she said in front of the dentist, 'it looks nice and clean at first, but when you look into detail, there's more that needs to be cleaned'. We come to you for teeth cleaning and help- not to be ridiculed for our teeth. My daughter had braces, so her teeth are straight and nice, but one hygentist told her- your teeth are crooked on the bottom alittle, this is crazy to me, why do you feel the need to comment on teeth? Not to mention they referred me to a oral surgeon not in my network so I ended up paying 2000 for wisdom teeth removal, I already paid the xrays, so I would have just wasted more money to go somewhere else. We are both sensitive and insecure about our teeth, these visits over the past year just made it worse. We will be finding another dentist office. Do better!

Within about three years, one restoration failed and required emergency care. I no longer live in Texas, so I saw another provider locally. That provider was recommended by this office and uses the same lab. During that visit, I was shown a clear image of an unsealed margin on the tooth adjacent to the failed restoration. This area is now causing significant sensitivity and requires treatment. Despite this, I was told by Dr. Young that addressing it would be a personal choice and not necessary. I was also told that issues like this could be related to whether I was keeping up with cleanings. I have consistently attended my dental cleanings before and after the restoration. I have been trying to get help since April 11, when the crown failed. I was finally told on 4/30 that a night guard would be remade and sent. I provided my address and never received a response or update. My records state that a night guard was delivered to me after treatment completion. I never received a night guard. What I was given were retainers, which I believed were night guards all along. I raised concerns shortly after placement in 2023, including asymmetry and bite issues, and provided photos at the time. I relied on the guidance that things were addressed. I am now dealing with a failed restoration, another tooth requiring treatment, and no protective night guard despite documentation stating otherwise.
