They came out for for a quote and check what we needed. When the consult and quote was done, within 2 days we were scheduled and installation began. The crew was professional and quick with the work. Now, we have a system that is so much more comfortable and keeps all rooms at a constant temperature. Five rooms, 5 room systems and 2 outside units with all electrical and ductwork was done in 1 1/2 days. The cool part of the system is it's controlled by remote, and there's one in each room, but if one is lost, they work on the rest, Awesome thing about this system, each room can be set to heat, cool and automatic control. You set the temp you want (all function controlled by remote control) and how powerful you want the fan, you can set it to sweep back and forth etc... One thing I do want to say that I was able to dictate the placement of the unit in our bedroom. Although it may have been easier for the crew to place the unit a wall closer to the outside unit, I requested another wall so I did not have to move family pictures and special things. The owner told me, that I had to live with it, so they would do what I wanted. I'm disabled and having thing's comfortable isn't always easy. The cost of this system is worth every penny. The speed of process from time of initial contact to completion was about a week. Thanks to the crew who came out and made our home more comfortable. We got it just in time for a really cold, snowy and windy storm and all the rooms were so comfy. They are a professional, knowledgeable, and polite crew.

He quickly identified the issue as our GFCI plug, which had blown and disabled our patio lights, outdoor plugs, and water softener. Our first call was to have a whole bunch of little annoying electrical issues taken care of in our new (to us) home. His price was very fair. Fast forward 4 months and we had a problem with our front lights not working. Ken was happy to come out to troubleshoot the problem. After much searching, he pinpointed the faulty wiring, showed us what to do to to prep for the repair, and worked with us to schedule a time that was convenient for him to return. He really earned his keep on this one as the previous owners had some wackadoodle install the lighting. But, Ken got it all fixed up and left us in a much better situation, all for much less than a competitor had quoted us for the job. Before he left, I had him look at a couple other projects we'd like to tackle in the future and he was happy to give us some guidance. I will be calling him when that time comes as well as for any other electrical issues we may encounter.

We asked Kimbrough Electric to install a light over a pool table in our house. We received an…read moreinitial free visit + estimate since the job was not straightforward (20 foot ceiling, over a pool table that could not be moved, installing an antique fixture) Although the initial conversation led us to believe we could install the light a certain way (with a special cord that would also support its weight) when it came time to do the job, the electricians on site realized this would not work and explained why. Instead of leaving and coming back a different time, they did everything possible to help us make decisions on how it could and should be done, and even drove to the store to purchase the parts we needed (gold colored chains and gold colored wires in this case) and sent pictures via smartphone so we knew what we were getting. Because of this and a few other unexpected complications we were told that the cost may go over the estimate if continued as a two-person job. We were given the option to send one electrician away, as long as I could stay and help by handing tools and such to the remaining electrician (Mike) who was up on the scaffolding (which they also had to rent custom so it would slide around the pool table) We opted for this and Mike walked us through every step to make sure he was installing it exactly how we wanted. He even advised that we could spray paint the junction-boxes and other small parts so they would match the chains and blend with the wood ceiling better. (Mike also picked up the spray-paint at the store) In the end, it came out PERFECT (and likely better than the way we had originally wanted it) and within the original estimate. Mike then went and returned the items from the store we didn't end up using to arrive at the final cost. We received a final invoice shortly after. We very much appreciated the "let's figure out the best way to do this on-time and on-budget" attitude. Mike was a professional, budget-conscious, satisfaction-oriented electrician.
