Both banks asked what it was for and we both stated. He bought my car.. My receipt said money would clear on the 8th, also Ceciala the teller said Tuesday the 8th. Went back Tuesday. They said there was in air with the check generation and it was gonna clear the 17th. The buyer and I both checked and chase had the money already taken out of there account...Wells fargo had it in their account.... Today I got a cal from some nethargic lady that could barely speak consistently.. Shake helped me understood nothing......She said they just started the investigation on this large sum of money. It's crazy they're not even concerned.. it was deposited on the fifth... Today the lethargic lady said we are starting the investigation and we'll let you know by the 24th... They won't answer any of my questions. I own a house with them and they won't give me my money... I will give them till the end of the month and then I am gonna file charges against Cecilia the teller for fraud and wells fargo... They gave me the date of the 8th that it was going to be cleared...My money was gonna be invested on the 9th. I lost 100,000.00 because of Wellsfargo Hollister... so I would recommend taking your money somewhere else at all costs. I am just an average guy with kids i go there because they're supposed to be professional.But when you change the dates three times and you won't give me an answer... That's crazy.I even asked for them to return the check.They won't help me at all.. if anyone has any questions, reach out to me wells fargo will lie to your face....

They charge $8. fees on a $149.check to cash a check, from their bank!…read more Maria the manager didn't tell me until after she ran the check through a printer and put all the bank information on the check! Then she tells me to leave and go to my bank after her bank numbers are on the check! So now the check looks like it's already been cashed or had a transaction which she performed. Then she informs me, of the bank, that she manages, charges a fee! After I had already waited over 15 mins in line, there are no notices posted as to a possibility of a fee due to cashing a check! Then she's calling me rude for trying to negotiate a reduced fee or waver since she is the branch manager. She is raising her voice during the conversation and negotiating process. I hate Bank of America because of their practices, as I had one years and year ago but left cause I was young and dumb and it was my first account. They charged me many many fees up the wazoo! Don't go there! Don't go there they will rip u off the first chance they get! NO POSTED SIGNS AS TO POSSIBLE FEES AS SHE SAYS SHE DIDNT KNOW! She said each case is different. Why didn't she explain there's a possibility of a fee if she runs it. She knew there were sometimes fees, that could have been explained prior to her printing on my check. The check issuer had the account and I explained I didn't have an account the first thing. She could have told me of a possible fee? DON'T BANK THERE THEY WILL RIP U OFF IN FEES! That's why I left being a customer.
