I said yes and he acted like i did not know what i was talking about and pretty much walked away and let someone help me. Well, someone in that service dept walked out with me to see what i was talking about and he said he would check it out. Came back and he was honest with me that the part cannot be found, and he got another person to come out with us and basically said the same thing. Gave me a great advice. The first opinion was a complete engine rebuild. The team went above and beyond in their investigation, discovering that there were damaged wires in the wiring harness causing the issue. Garret and the team went above and beyond doing repairs on damaged wires resulting in a simple diagnostic charge for the services. I cannot thank him and the team enough for this. Buyer beware! purchased a Truck from South Commercial Auto in Salem about six month ago. Have only…read moredriven it about 200 miles and in that time, I have had to tow it to a shop for repairs on two occasions. Both for blown hoses. When I bought the truck, I returned to SCA in Salem and told them all the issue it had after my mechanic looked at it. They agreed to go over the list and work on anything they saw that needed fixing. They ended up keeping the truck for a month. When I came to pick-up the truck and ask them, what all did you end up doing, I never got a straight answer other than my mechanic didn't know what they were talking about and the truck was fine. Since then, I had to install new breaks and the 4x4 actuator was locked up and had to be replaced. I continue to get an engine light for the Turbo, I'm sure i'll have to replace that soon. It's unfortunate, cause i would like to get rid of this truck but unlike SCA, I don't feel comfortable selling a POS without fixing all the issues. Ted F.
