His place is located underneath some nameless business that faces Abernathy. The entrance is on the backside and the only marker are the words, "Juke's Auto" faintly painted on the side of the building. But don't go there before 12 noon. Juke (yeah, that's his name) usually doesn't get up until about noon or 1pm. However, he is open for business until about 4 in the morning! Now, he's like the Black version of the Brad Garrett character from Seinfeld; he won't abscond with your vehicle, but if you don't take care of your vehicle, he will let you know about it. And he is a character in a lot of other ways, but it is all well worth it. He can fix damn near anything with an engine....and he'll do it for a low low.

Since my return home in 2007, I have been taking my vehicles to Juke. He restored my 1987 Nissan Maxima to fully operational condition when other mechanics didn't know WHAT to do with it. He fixed the oil leak, windshield wipers & fluid pump, radiator, brakes, power steering, and AC. That ran like a champ when he finished with it. There is nothing he doesn't know about, can't figure out, or can't fix on your vehicle. And if he doesn't know or thinks he can't fix it he's not going to blow smoke to take your money. And when he fixed something; ITS FIXED. Not once have I had to hunt him down or bring my car back because "something just wasn't right" after I got my car back like with some other mechanics and auto repair chains. For a nominal fee, he'll even accompany you to check out a vehicle you're considering for purchase. I describe him as being able to "turn a lawn mower into a go cart and back and they both run like a champ" because he's just that good.

Alec, the service and location Manager/Director is the best. He is honest and always comes up with the best and most reasonable repair solutions for my Bimmers. Recently my 2009 X5 finally gave up on me with about 260k miles. He even offered to help me find another X5. Now, that is not your typical repair place! They go over and beyond the normal expectations, even for a hard to please client like me. I finally found a replacement x5 but diesel version and I will trust no one but them to service this replacement vehicle. If you drive an Audi, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, VW, Ferrari or any other European car, this is the only place you should be taking your car for repair, maintenance or service. They are the best! I stand by these guys! The owner is also a beast when it comes to repairs. He has no problem rolling his sleeves up to jump in and help when the guys get slammed! I witnessed this when both of my headlight assemblies needed to be replaced due to faulty wiring (vehicle age related) which included bumper removal. The guys were slammed and the owner rolled his sleeves up to handled the job! I got my car back the next day versus having to wait a week! Now that is making sure your clients are treated as a priority!!

They offer the option to pay via Zelle which is a big deal when dealing with big bills. And they offer free soda and coffee. My only note is to be wary of having an attitude. As a customer, it is not my problem if you fail to deliver on a promise. You either got the job done in a timely manner or you didn't. In my case, a "three hour job" took one and a half work days due to internal issues. I was then met with an attitude when I myself had an attitude at the wait. Just a friendly reminder that business is business is business. Trust me, I have been in your shoes and it's not fun to deal with grumpy people but it is smart to always be professional. Overall great experience and I would recommend anyone to check them out. Especially @ women who might normally get scammed at the mechanic.

As many Audi owners know, oil leaks are almost a rite of passage--and my car was no exception. I kept quarts of oil in the trunk because the oil light seemed to live on. About a month ago, the car went into limp mode and barely made it home. I took it to a recommended shop, and while I appreciated the effort and honesty, I was told the car might not be worth a major investment. At 79, with no car note and no desire for one, I chose a different path. I had the car transferred to The Bug Shop, where David, the owner, confirmed the hard news--the engine was gone. Not what I wanted to hear, but what I needed to hear. I followed his recommendation for sourcing a reputable engine, purchased it, and had it shipped directly to the shop. Yesterday, I drove a car that feels tighter and runs better than it ever has. It drove so beautifully I felt like I could head straight across the country to the West Coast! I don't write reviews often, but I wrote this one before I even had my morning coffee. I am forever grateful to David and the entire team at The Bug Shop. R. Eaton
