John Matthes Septic Pumping

Had a backup of my septic late Friday evening which is a very unpleasant situation. On Saturday…read moremorning I called the company that I use to pump the septic and they told me they couldn't help (thanks for nothing Lakeland). Saw the good reviews for John Matthes so my wife made the call and spoke with Lisa who was great. She said not to worry, she would find a way to get someone out to help us that day. Joe showed up a few hours later and was clearly a bigger job than he expected but he knocked it out of the park. He also told me it looked like it wasn't pumped correctly the last time which was pretty disappointing to hear. As a side note Joe was driving one of the nicest septic trucks I have seen. Think it goes to show that these guys take good care of their equipment. All in all a great experience. Thanks Lisa for finding a way to squeeze us in and thanks Joe for taking care of business. John Matthes is definitely the company I will use for anything septic related going forward. No brainer, give them a try and see if you can trust the guys you are using today!

I thought that I was looking at a $20,000 fix. Due to other commitments, I also had a small window during which time I could have them help me. The receptionist was wonderful on the telephone. She said that she would reschedule some routine appointments to accommodate me and she did. The technician who came out was very knowledgeable, very pleasant and was able to clean out my tank by refilling it twice with the used water in order to remove the heavy sludge. He also helped me to figure out how to clear the lines to my gray water tank without me having to open it up. The whole experience was so much easier than I feared. I am very grateful and highly recommend these people!

I am highly satisfied with their services. Our home inspector spent 3-hours inspecting the house and teaching me things I needed to know, like "Here is where you change the air conditioning filter; this is the control for the heater for this section of the house; here is how to use the remote to light the gas fireplace; this is the control for air-conditioning in this section of the house, and on and on. I really appreciated that. I fully trust this home inspector and have no hesitation in providing a 5 star review.

Excavation company had to tear up my walkway to put in brand new sewer lines for both gray and black tanks. They said "we dont test the lines from home to tank, we only test from tank to field." Then i pointed out that "sewer line" was checked off as satisfactory on my rpt and then they said "well the water must have been going through at the time." Where is the video? Make sure you are there "IF" you decide to use them and flush the toilets and run kitchen sink water and watch for yourself. What a bunch of bullshit. Recommended by my realtor. Thats my bad and my first mistake!
