I called three different roofing companies and Alex came out the same day. I never even got a call back from other two places. Ever since that first visit Alex has been a fantastic communicator. His crew came out and replaced the roof and vents in one day. His other crew came to replace all the gutters and downspouts. They even hung a new gutter/spout by the front door entrance and told me it would be no charge. Alex also personally replaced our hail-damaged screens. Now for the icing on the cake. Because we chose impact resistant shingles we are eligible for a significant reduction in our homeowners insurance. Alex took care of all the paperwork and communicated directly with our insurance company to make that happen. THAT is customer service and blew me away when he told me he would do that. The work and service Alex and his crews provided was top notch and we are very happy we chose Alex Roofing and Remodeling.

I had my roof done by WDR in 2021 and honestly everything during the install was fantastic. They…read morewere quick, at one point it was going to rain mid-way through the install so they pulled out all the stops and they got my roof done ahead of schedule before it rained. Since then the roof has held up great! Last week I started seeing a leak on the outside of my house. I called them up and the owner sent someone out the same day just to rule anything out. When they came out we both agreed that it didn't look like there was anything wrong with the roof, but that didn't stop them for doing their best to stop it from leaking they added some caulking around some holes in the stucco and masonry and fixed up some of the flashing near the leak. After that, it was still leaking, but Brad, the owner, was kind enough to come out again, even though it had NOTHING to do with the roof just to double-check on me and make sure that I was doing well. At the end of the day, they took off a side gutter and found a hole in the wall that the builders had left from when the house was built. Again, STILL not roof related, but they treated me like family and helped me as if it were and fixed it up for me. Literally cannot say enough good things about WDR! I've never found a company that is this helpful or this responsive.

During the March hail storm, my roof was significantly damaged. Adam Meyer, the branch manager from…read moreHolden Roofing, has taken care of my claim, worked closely with my insurance carrier (USAA) and their adjuster, and my new roof has just been completed. It's fabulous! He is also handling the gutters, screens and other contracting for damage that was incurred in that claim. I highly recommend Holden Roofing - because they do a professional job with high-quality materials, and because Holden Roofing has an office in San Marcos and will be here if we need them. They replaced my roof and Kim and Winton Porterfield's roof - and today, after last night's storm, (which occurred mere hours after my roof had been completed!) Adam came by and checked on both of our roofs to ensure that we are okay. Quality work and excellent customer service. A+ grade for Holden Roofing. Contact him if you need roof work - or if you think you may have had damage in last night's storm. I trust him.

Their family been residents in San Marcos Texas since before their business establishment. Bethke Roofing has been an Accredited member of the Better Business Bureau since 2015 and hold an A+ rating. Sam oversaw the project from first contact with the insurance company through completion of every facet of the job without a hitch. His professionalism, attention to detail and honesty was truly impressive. He was punctual for every appointment and stood by his word. Sam provided me with professional consultation and the best products. The Skilled crew performing the tear-off and reroofing were most caring about not making a mess of things including laying tarping down to caught debris, not damaging my property and were most polite and professional in every way. They even put things back in place on the ground before finishing. The job was completed on time with no debris left behind. The selection of shingle color looks better than the previous color. The price quoted by Bethke Roof for the new roof was exceptional. The Bethke Roofing quote given 6 months earlier remained the same even with the rising cost of materials, no price increase, and no money down before the work ever started. I was amazingly impressed. Just as a note, I have used Sam's services 4-years ago when he patched a leak coming from the top of the chimney and charged me absolutely nothing. And by the way, I wrote the payment for the new roof $600.00 over the invoice amount and would not have ever known it but Sam made me aware of the fact before the check was deposited and he simply gave me this check back and I wrote him another for the proper amount. This just another example of why I strongly recommend Bethke Roofing and will use them again in the future should the need arise!

The roof was finished in one day and looked great. However, the title company for the buyers required an inspection after the roof was complete. This inspector "found" what he thought was rotted plywood from a leak near the chimney. I called John immediately because it needed to be fixed ASAP so we could close on the house on time. Upon further inspection by John, the plywood was not rotted but it had a water stain from a previous leak (that had been repaired) and the integrity of the wood was in place. However, knowing the title company would take the inspector's word over ours, John replaced all of the wood and re-shingled that area. He did this on a Saturday delaying a family vacation so we could close on time. There are many "good" roofing company's but what are they like when something goes wrong? I think it says more about a contractor in how they deal with a problem after the fact. I can say from personal experience that John Brown Roofing was absolutely the BEST in handling this. John did not have to replace the plywood, but he did because he knew it was best in our given situation. I am really grateful for a roofing contractor that has integrity and stands behind their work. i could not recommend this company highly enough.
