Save yourself the trip. Go literally anywhere else…read more I had a 9am appointment for a blood draw. A five minute thing. I didn't get out until almost 10:30. They overbook, plain and simple. They'd stacked people into the same window and had staff tied up running IVs, so a quick draw like mine just sat in the waiting room while my wife waited in the car for an hour and a half. No call ahead, no warning. Nobody with the sense to wave a five minute patient through. When they finally took me back they couldn't even figure out the request. I had already explained it over the phone. My practitioner gave me the req form and the lab kit. All I needed was the draw, one tube, that I was going to FedEx myself. The staff had no idea what to do, so they called the manager. For that. And the part that should worry you most. I am an easy stick. Good veins. I have never once had trouble getting blood drawn. They went in, nothing. Went in again, nothing. There was blood right there, but it wouldn't flow, so either the equipment is bad or the technique is. Two needles, both failed, bruised for the trouble. So after an hour and a half I left with a sore arm and a trip to a real lab still ahead of me. Overbooked, disorganized, and they can't perform a simple blood draw.

Julieta was so sweet and offered to draw my blood while I was lying on a bed after I mentioned that I sometimes get dizzy after blood draws. I didn't end up choosing that option, but I thought it was very kind of her to offer. I plan to return to this location for my future needs.

I've been to Quest Diagnostics multiple times, and I want to start by saying that this facility is…read moreconsistently clean, and most of the phlebotomists I've encountered have been kind, professional, and efficient. That's why this review is so disappointing to write. On April 15th, I had a very negative experience with a phlebotomist named Michelle. From the moment I sat down, she was cold and dismissive--no greeting, no basic courtesy. Her tone throughout the appointment felt rude and unnecessarily aggressive. Instead of communicating calmly, she gave abrupt commands like "scoot up... no, more," without any professionalism or kindness. The actual blood draw was worse. On the first attempt, she missed my vein and tried to redirect the needle twice. During the second redirection, I felt a sharp pain and said "ouch," to which she responded by rolling her eyes before removing the needle. I ended up apologizing--despite being the one in pain--because of how uncomfortable the interaction felt. She never apologized. She then attempted the draw on my other arm, applying the tourniquet far too tightly and choosing the basilic vein. As soon as she accessed the vein, it began to blow. Despite this, she continued the draw and collected four tubes while I started losing sensation in my arm and hand. For context, I am a phlebotomist with 10 years of experience, so I am very familiar with proper technique and patient safety. I regret not advocating for myself in that moment, because the situation was not handled appropriately. Unsurprisingly, I developed a hematoma almost immediately in a very sensitive area. She provided minimal bandaging--it didn't even stay on--and gave no aftercare instructions. I had to manage everything myself at home, including icing and proper care. I have already reported this experience directly to Quest Diagnostics through the appropriate channels. I was told that a supervisor would address the situation and that this employee would be shadowed for retraining. While I appreciate that this is being handled internally, I am sharing this publicly so others are aware and can make informed decisions--personally, I would recommend avoiding this phlebotomist at all costs, if possible. This was one of the worst experiences I've had getting blood drawn, and it stands in stark contrast to the otherwise positive experiences I've had at this location. *I'm including pictures, including the bruising right after the draw and how it looks 24 hours later

She had told me that the staff would be much better. She told me that if Upland can't do it, then she will look to see what else we can do, but to give them a try. Not gonna lie. At first, i didn't believe her! But we came in and the ladies were really patient with our son. He was scared at first, but they didn't raise their voices or anything at him. They stayed calm and i didn't even need to use our distraction tools with him. I can only imagine the number of people that come in to get labs. I'm a nurse and i know they see way more patients than i do. But people were quickly serviced during our visit. If they are firm and short, you gotta understand that they probably deal with a bunch of different personalities every day. They have to make their patience last the whole shift and mind you, i have never seen an empty labcorp. They were wonderful with our son. And quick! Amparo, Roxana, Christina, Jackie thank you ladies so very much. We really needed these labs done. Definitely going to this location again.

I had to get a Department of Transportation medical exam and drug test, and my company sent me to Real Occupational. They told me up front "our Doctor is real cool." They were right. I got in really quick, despite a waiting room full. Everyone was really friendly, with the slight exception of one of the ladies up front, but everyone has a bad day. There was even a glitch with my blood pressure, and they reassured me "don't worry, just come back and let's check again." I did and everything was fine (those two cups of coffee before I went in probably didn't help). Then Dr. Wall even explained why it was really common. No place is going to be perfect, but when you think of having to go to clinic of any kind, this is as good as it gets. Hopefully the previous reviewer will give them another chance. Definitely worth it.

I show up at 3:45 maybe a minute later and she said that they closed at 3:30pm and that FedEx had already left. Pathetic child like communication. They could have told me 3:30pm the first time and I wouldn't have came all the way from LA. Spoke to the office manager Juan. He made me repeat myself 4-5 times. If that's a manager then that explains why this place sucks. He said he would have made an exception if he was there and he surely was there and made no exception. Instead he was being a rude j**k. Shoot the 7 minutes we argued on the phone, he could have let me pissed in a cup but instead he felt like pissing me off. Would not recommend this place to anyone. If I was an employer, I would rather my employees piss dirty than to send them here. This place was just sold to some other company and looks like everything went to s**t. I requested my company to send me elsewhere other than this sh**hole with a bunch of sh**heads.
