Recommend the Quest on Foothill over the one on Lemon because I am hard to draw and they always have trouble at the Lemon location. I let them know up front that I am hard to draw so I suggest the butterfly needle and the warming pad but I was told to just bring my own gloves implying that it is useless to first try my arms. I was trying to get my daughter out of her daycare early to get the test done. I was running late a little bit and their location was so hard to find cause it hidden inside the building and this was my first time here. I tried to call them for help to locate where they are. They didn't pick up the phone. By the time I got there. It was still not the time they close yet. They literally locked the door. I knocked on the door. They ignored. Nobody even answered. If they try to leave work that early that bad than the time they actually stated that they close so don't take appointment like 1 hour before closing them so don't waste people time. People have work, kids have school. Horrible service! At least answer your phone so I don't have to come or I don't have to go play game to go find your little hidden location. read more

She tried three times and said I had to come back when I've drank more water, which I had done before I went there. New insurance brought me to this lab today. I was able to create an account online and make an appointment easily. I feel like they had way more availability for appointments than the previous lab I went to. There's no reception, just kiosks to check in once you enter the waiting room. It was midday so it wasn't very busy. It was just a simple blood draw for routine tests. The staff I interacted with were friendly and efficient. I actually really liked this location! My first time here. A little hard to find as there's no obvious sign, but head to the western side lot, and walk through the side door. The lab is the final door on the right. Inside, it's clean and bright. There is no check-in desk or person to receive you. Check in at one of the 3 kiosks (two were functioning). Folks helped others who got stymied by that process. By doing all ahead of time on the app, you'll get a message link to click and avoid the kiosk. I got called 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, which really isn't bad. Folks were being called at a fairly fast clip. My phlebotomist was friendly, thorough, and blissfully drew painlessly, without so much as a drop of blood or bruise. read more

Doctor ordered a blood test. After leaving the Lemon in Ranch Cucamonga location, I realized something very important and concerning was NOT done. During the test I noticed the young lady seemed to be in somewhat in a hurry when drawing my blood sample. After getting my samples, she failed to have me verify my name on the vials afterwards, like I have done before in the past. Which I might add is very important as to verification of who they took the sample from and to insure samples are not mixed up. Now I'm very concerned as to the validity of my samples. When I get the results will it be mine or by mistake someone else's? It can happen why else would they implement such a verification procedure/policy. Now what? I even wonder if they will even see this post. Should I call and complain will they even do anything seeing the place is always busy and they don't have time? I might just tell my doctor know and let him press the complaint button. My wife is a retired (35-years) nurse mgr. and she even said they should have verified my name on the vials of blood that were taken. read more

R U D E. One word: rude. To explain further, the staff here may be overwhelmed, but I would see that as a management/corporate/staffing problem. I would be more sympathetic if the staff didn't treat the patients as if we were the problem. Every time I have brought my relative here, we have done all the pre check in, brought all necessary documentation, etc. Even so, the staff is routinely snotty. Eye rolling, pointed sighs, and even once being greeted, not with a hello or even eye contact, but by the staff taking the order out of my relative's hand and barking, "You brought the wrong thing!" (Spoiler: we had not brought "the wrong thing;" she just did not bother to read it.) While I am sorry that the staff is so overwhelmed that they cannot be kind, or maybe they're having a bad day, is it necessary to take it out on the patients? I mean, in most cases, they are about to withdraw our blood. That can be traumatizing for people, so why can't they be kind? But again, before any corporate entity, tries to give me the blanket-and therefore useless, apology for my "bad experience," I would ask what the corporate office was doing to help this staff meet their goals without obviously being so completely stressed out. BEWARE!! I was pressured by staff to pay my co-payment upfront which was around the price range of $60-70, which didn't sound right to me. This female staff claimed "its a new thing we started this year and as staff, we will now get in trouble if patients do NOT pay upfront" I told her no, I want it to be billed through mail because that copay she told me didnt sound right. Then she said "okay ill let it pass but next time you HAVE to pay upfront". By the waymy actual bill for my co pay that i received through mail was around $25 ALOT lower than what the staff "claimed" I owed. I called quest diagnostics customer service and they confirmed that they do tell staff to offer or allow you to pay upfront but it is NOT REQUIRED and they WILL NOT get in trouble if customer opted to have their billing mailed to them. Need an appointment. Offer waitlist, but patients are waiting more than 2 1/2 hours! Many leaving upset, yelling at staff. One patient said she was diabetic but staff seemed unconcerned! Honestly, this place is pretty pathetic. We pay quite a bit for insurance and to have blood work performed here feels like a shame to say the least. It's a very "cold" atmosphere. It feels as if no one care. Having face to face interaction is not possible. Everything is done from a kiosk. That's okay but when trying to make a phone call, good luck. The walls are damaged. The dry wall has been put up where a person used to sit and the backside of the dry wall is not even covered. This place is just a money center. If you are interested in investing in this kind of place you'd probably make lots of money. But this is not the kind of place that feel like they care about your health. At least that is how I felt. Sara drew my blood, and she was amazing! She must have used a tiny needle, because I only felt a tiny prick. It was so much better than any other blood draw that I've ever had. I told her that she was the best, and she said that everyone there is really good. If I ever have to have blood drawn again, I'm going to try to come back here to Sara. This location has been closed down for extended duration for remodel. So this location was the best location in the entire inland empire. Now all the nearby locations are all overloaded. It's virtually impossible to get your labs drawn without an appointment. I had to have preop labs for emergency procedure. I am a medical provider. Saw 7 patients today. read more

So my experiences with Quest Diagnostics have always been really well (when you actually set an appointment) as the wait times are no existent. You're called in at your time and dealt with very quickly which makes it so easy. I had an appointment at this location at 7:40AM and was out at 7:47AM. This even included the process of checking in, and providing insurance since i opted to provide it in person. Despite the location lacking staff, they were handling patients as quickly as possible. They certainly would do better with more staff as this place is unusually larger than the others, plenty of rooms. What I like about Quest Diagnostics is that you don't need to wait for your doctor to tell you the results, all you have to do is register an account for "myquest" and as soon as your results are ready, you can view them within their secure portal. What's even cooler is that you're provided a feature that allows you a personal / dedicated email so that you can send the results. In addition outside of this, there's a email feature within portal without using the dedicated resources I mentioned, and on top of that the ability to fax within the portal the results to anyone of your choice!! This place has gone downhill! It's awful!!! Phlebotomist are very nice however, their new system is awful. This is the worst experience I have ever experienced. Having to fast and this office not being efficient is not a good combination. Note to everyone who have made an appointment but decided to walk in in the morning to try to get in earlier. Do not do it. You will waste your time, they do not take walk-ins if you already have an appointment however the system does not reject your walk-in check-in. Highly suggest you make an appointment if you want to come in to Quest Diagnostics. Although walk-ins are welcomed, it will take a little longer to be seen than if you have an appointment. The waiting area has changed completely from before. The chairs are now spaced out to comply with social distancing. Once the room is full they will ask you to please remain in your vehicle until they call you in. Your temp is also checked at the door. Since we did make an appointment we were called in fairly quickly, our blood work was done fast. So we were out pretty quick. I was afraid to use this lab after having a horrible billing problem with Quest years ago. But they had an opening at a time that worked for me, so I took the chance. I checked in on my phone and the phlebotomist was almost instantly available. She was so kind and patient with me and my hyper kid. I was expecting the usual trauma because my veins are hard to find, but Cynthia was so gentle and found a vein almost instantly. I barely felt the needle and she got it on the first try. I asked the first question of this woman's day, There is no front desk. She yelled at me "Wait a minute ? " gave me a nasty look.
