I had bids from 5 other…read moresiding contractors and companies, but went with Tony because he was the most professional, answered all my questions, looked at my house and garage thoroughly, gave me the best price, and to crown it all the new siding came repainted ~ almost the same color as my existing siding ~ so that I could cross that project off my list! The other contractors who had come didn't even mention this, so I faced an extra job and fee with them! The crew was great, they were so hard working, as well as experienced and knowledgable. The first day they tore off all the old siding, and in the next week+ they replaced any rotten boards, weatherproofed everything, put up the new siding and trim, and left the place super tidy at the end of every day. Tony walked around with me on the last day, and any outstanding little final touch-ups were done. Some neighbors and other passerby have even said how great it all looks now. Before, the old siding was peeling, dull and warped. Now it all just looks wonderful and really high quality! I am so pleased with this siding project and to have it all done going into the rainy season, and so happy to have chosen such a great company.

I found Grace Point Contracting at the Salem Home Show in January this year. They provided me with…read morequotes for replacing a window, updating some siding, and exterior paint. Their quotes were very transparent with no hidden fees. As I made changes, they were open to adjusting the quote. I asked them to delay work for a month and they accommodated that request. I really like that they followed up to resume the work. Huge bonus for me is them showing up when they said they would. It's surprising how few contractors actually do that! The work was completed with professionalism and using good products. My only suggestion is to be a bit more attentive to cleaning up when the work was done. I would definitely consider using Grace Point again in the future for any exterior work.

This is a disappointing review to write because I was initially really happy with them, and the…read moreexperience went downhill pretty quick. We used GM for both siding and exterior paint, at first they were extremely communicative, friendly, and the siding project itself seemed to go fine other than a few mishaps. With the siding, we loved how it looked but the work crew lacked professionalism. They left nails all over our yard, ripped bushes out of the ground on a carefully lined walkway, and pulled our front bushes down so aggressively they've never come back up and will have to be ripped out. The nails were a huge concern because we have a dog, and had we run one over with a mower that could have been dangerous for us as well. Months later we are still finding them. The contractors did compensate us for the bush they trampled. On to the paint. The painting contractors were awful from start to (never really) finished. They were unprofessional, left things in our trees and bushes, left garbage around our house and yard, trampled the bushes we had just replaced from the contractors (we weren't reimbursed this time), moved our fence post to a crooked location that we can't fix. Beyond that, we had a dark gray color with white trim, if you've ever painted over a dark color with white you know you have to have MANY coats to not have seep through of the darker color. For some reason, they painted all of it the dark color and then went over the trim with white, so in many areas you can see the bleed through of the gray. It looks tacky and like we DIY'd it. Additionally, we asked for the garage to be painted white and they painted it dark gray like the house.. when we asked them to fix it, they didn't open it to paint so as soon as we opened the garage it cracked on the bending panel and the insulation came out. I got in contact with the contractors right away and Kara said she would send someone out. She didn't, and that was now almost 3 months ago and they've completely ghosted us with a broken garage. They've also left their porta potty in front of our house this entire time (3 months and counting). Our neighbors across the street also hired them for siding and paint and they've also completely ghosted them for the paint. We initially would have recommended them but they ended up screwing us over so I'd go anywhere else.
