Her client think they are paying your fee so you get the full talant amount. It's intended to be an incentive for you not for Cindy to pocket the money and make a 30% to 40% commission off your hard work. No agency does it like this. Check for yourself. I want to share my recent experience with Entourage Model & Talent Agency so other actors and models can make informed decisions before signing. This dual-commission practice was applied to my bookings for over four years before I discovered the discrepancy. I recently booked a project where the client offered a $1,200 rate plus a 15% agency fee. Based on standard industry practice, the additional client-paid fee is typically meant to cover the agency's commission, allowing the talent to receive the full negotiated rate. However, under Entourage's contract, the agency also deducted a 20% commission from my pay, in addition to keeping the 15% client-paid fee. This resulted in the agency receiving a total of roughly 35% of the booking, while my actual take-home was significantly reduced. Crucially, the client involved confirmed that their clear intent for paying the 15% agency fee was for it to cover my agent's costs so that I would net the full $1,200 rate. When I asked for clarification, I learned that their contract allows the agency to collect both a client-side service charge and a separate commission from talent. Standard industry commission typically ranges from 10% to 20%. By stacking both fees, Entourage collects 35% to 40% (depending on the client fee), which is far outside the industry standard and operates as a predatory financial practice that severely impacts a performer's income. I would encourage prospective talent to: Read the contract carefully--especially the section about "service charges" or "booking fees" paid by clients. Ask in writing how client-paid fees are handled before accepting any bookings. Clarify your net rate upfront so there are no surprises after payment. Entourage did respond to my questions professionally, but I believe this dual-commission structure should be disclosed more clearly to clients and talent to avoid confusion.

Made it to 4th and 5th round interviews, and applied to things I was under, exactly and over qualified for. Depression turned to despair and other staffing agencies I had reached out to from the start couldn't find anything or things never worked out. When I contacted A-List, they were so friendly, professional and optimistic. They took time to listen and carefully considered the job descriptions that I was looking for. I got matched pretty quickly with a temporary position that I really enjoyed. Then again in January of 2022, they matched me to the place I am still working at. I love this job and will be hired on full time very soon. They couldn't have matched me with a more perfect job! It's work that is in a new industry to me, but it's only growing and I'm learning so much! They also stay in contact regularly. I highly recommend them! Ask for Cory or Jen-they're the best!!
