I reserved the Uhaul truck for Sunday, but I got a call not long after I made the reservation…read moreasking if I could pick it up Friday around 5 o'clock instead because they aren't open Sunday. I was told they didn't feel comfortable leaving the keys in the truck for me to pick it up. Probably shouldn't say I can pick it up on Sunday online if you don't want me to. (I later found out if they didn't make it available to me the day I reserved it Uhaul would pay me $50, so they were trying to save $50.) I rearranged my schedule to come pick it up around 5, and when we get there the lady who told me to come get it Saturday instead tells me it will be $0.99 a mile instead of $0.79 a mile like my reservation said. This is because I'm being charged the Saturday rate instead of the Sunday rate. I told her the only reason I'm coming in to get it that day instead was because they asked me to, so I'd like the $0.79 Sunday milage rate. She tried to change it but it didn't work, so she called whom I assume was someone from Uhaul corporate. They couldn't change it because supposedly their system was down, so the person in-store with me said she'd get it changed Monday when they opened. Today I got the bill and was charged $0.99 a mile which is not what I was promised. I emailed the address listed on the billing email explaining the issue, and the district manager Robert George (robert_george@uhaul.com) said he will not change it. Next time I'll use Penske or Budget Truck rental. Terrible customer service!

This account was on auto pay , our credit card has been in your files from the beginning and all of the sudden it stopped for some unknown reason. I Have called several times to make a payment and no one has been able to help. I have tried the automated system to make the payment and that has not worked either. They keep saying that someone will call XXXX or I to resolve this issue, but I have not heard back from anyone. This situation seems as though your company wants to keep the content of this storage space. Your company discloses that the calls are recorded, and you will see that we have called to make payment. We need an immediate response from your company, so that you can take our payment This email went unanswered and return calls were not made. These jackals announced a lien sale shortly thereafter. They are only in the office 2 hours a week.
