I reserved the Uhaul truck for Sunday, but I got a call not long after I made the reservation asking if I could pick it up Friday around 5 o'clock instead because they aren't open Sunday. I was told they didn't feel comfortable leaving the keys in the truck for me to pick it up. Probably shouldn't say I can pick it up on Sunday online if you don't want me to. (I later found out if they didn't make it available to me the day I reserved it Uhaul would pay me $50, so they were trying to save $50.) I rearranged my schedule to come pick it up around 5, and when we get there the lady who told me to come get it Saturday instead tells me it will be $0.99 a mile instead of $0.79 a mile like my reservation said. This is because I'm being charged the Saturday rate instead of the Sunday rate. I told her the only reason I'm coming in to get it that day instead was because they asked me to, so I'd like the $0.79 Sunday milage rate. She tried to change it but it didn't work, so she called whom I assume was someone from Uhaul corporate. They couldn't change it because supposedly their system was down, so the person in-store with me said she'd get it changed Monday when they opened. Today I got the bill and was charged $0.99 a mile which is not what I was promised. I emailed the address listed on the billing email explaining the issue, and the district manager Robert George (robert_george@uhaul.com) said he will not change it.
