Since I was about to move I decided to check out their website and everything looked legit. I assumed since the owner lived in the same complex as me, they would be crazy to scam or associate in an illegitimate manner. Big mistake. I spoke to Whitney (Which I have learned is the owners wife) who assured me that a 1 bedroom move should take no longer than the 3 hour minimum. We booked the movers to arrive between 1 and 2. I paid my $100 deposit by credit card. On the day of the move, the owner called me and let me know the movers would actually be early. So I made sure I was prepared. At 1:42, I grew concerned about them showing up at all. The movers showed up a little after 2pm. They took their sweet ole time coming out of the rented U-Haul truck and up the stairs to greet me. I let them know every single thing I was moving was located in the room by the front door. They looked at me confused and asked to check other rooms to make sure nothing was left behind. Almost as if someone could not be organized and prepared. They started moving my boxes 1 by 1, no literally they used their delicate hands, fully accessorized with a diamond pinky ring to lift EVERY SINGLE BOX one by one to ensure that was the box that they wanted to carry. They did not carry more than 1 box at a time, so they single handedly lifted each box to ensure they were not carrying the heaviest ones. They ever so carefully walked down the 12 steps to the truck making sure not to scuff their brand new jordans on the way. About 2.5 hours later, we were finally on the way to the new place. Once we got there, only one guy was working because the other decided to stop and take a shit in my bathroom while I ran to get them the water that they had asked for. It took a total of 6 hours to move to a 1 bedroom apartment. 30 boxes. 1 king bed. Couch and a few odds and ends. Upon payment they demanded it be cashapp or Zelle. I told them I had neither and they started complaining about how I need to pay. I offered my credit card and they flat out said I could not pay with a credit card. The total was DOUBLE my original quote. They made sure to drag out EVERY.SINGLE.MINUTE of this move. I finally called my bank and made sure I was able to Zelle without any risks. They assured me I was safe to do so, so I sent the payment. OH! But not before one gentleman decided to offer his services of helping me make my bed that came with a sinister wink. Once they left, I texted the owners looking for a receipt to see what I actually had been charged for. No 10% off discount. No discount on the fact they used their time to shit in my bathroom. Nothing. Just a double-charged bill. I texted the company the next morning about my concerns. They replied with a half-ass response about giving them 48 hours to look into the issue and they take these issues seriously. I neglected to also let them know about the damaged dresser, damaged door and missing box. I figured, one issue at a time. 48 hours and 1 minute later, I heard nothing from them so I called my bank. And would you guess I can't file a dispute since I used Zelle. They made sure I had no way to recoup my money due to their negligence. I started researching their company and I am honestly shocked at the amount of fraud I was able to locate. They are not DOT registered. They have no permission to operate in a trucking capacity in any transportation manner. Most of the "reviews" on their site are fake. A quick reverse search showed that. I have been in contact with every single company they stole photos of. The picture of the large piano, showing how they can safely move furniture, also not theirs. It is a duplicate of a hotel in Japan. Their entire site is copyrighted. Which I am pretty sure makes this whole scenario a lovely case of Copyright infringement. I honestly wish I had done proper research before I hired this company. Typically I use larger, commercial companies and this time I wanted to try and help a smaller company instead. Charite and Whitney Gonzalve are the epitome of what it is like to be despicable human beings. They are a prime example of what is wrong in this world. They are complete scam artists and deserve every millimeter of bad karma coming their way

June 2, 2024 After several phone calls to EE Ward in Grove City, my nephews and I agreed to a crew returning to the house to place the boxes in their respective places (bedroom, basement). My nephews and I cleaned the cat litter issues. While on the phone, my nephew explained that I am elderly and disabled, and he is recovering from lung cancer. I first got transferred to the local sales dept and my call was dropped after ten minutes of obnoxious static noise. I called again and got a guy who questioned me as he said they don't have trucks they only have pods and they will pick them up but the wait is about 5-7 days before they could then take it to my new place... he then transferred me to another person who then said he has no idea how that quote was made but the same details I told him were now running up to $1900!!! I still haven't had a call back from Michelle...or anyone else for that matter. I then had one of their representatives, at their suggestion, come to my condo to see what and how much I had to move. When the Efficient Moving man came to my condo, I was encouraged to do a "per item" moving cost basis and was told "it would turn out cheaper" than a per hour basis. The man told me that typical totes/boxes were like $3 each to move and he would take an inventory of the furniture, etc. back to the office and give me a quote. When I got the quote, the totes/boxes were $4 each. Plus there was a $200 "Trip Charges" which was not mentioned to me before. They would not disclose what the individual furniture pieces cost to move as that was "proprietary information" so I had no idea how much more a big piece of furniture cost than a smaller piece. I didn't like the whole situation but the move was looming and I felt overwhelmed so I chose to continue with Efficient Moving vs finding another mover. On moving day, three nice gentleman showed up and it took them 3 1/2 hours to complete the move, working at what I would call a normal pace. The total charge was $832.50 or $237 per hour, considerably more than the $180 initially quoted me. It also took the mover an additional half hour to figure out the bill because of their complicated system.

I was given a great quote for my move in today. I guess you could say I was blessed because my storage facility was less than a minute from my new home. I have a big queen size bed with pillow top mattresses, washer and dryer, dinette set and a few other items. I was even helping out when they got to my apartment. As they unloaded, I cleaned off the items. They asked if they could set up the bed and dinette set for me and they did.....QUICKLY!!! They got my stuff unloaded and set up within the two hour frame. I think it was less than two hours but it was fast. They didn't mess up anything, damage or put damage to walls or ceilings. Everything was handled with care. If you want a moving company that's good with your budget, PLEASE CALL THEM!!! I definitely recommend them now and in the future!!! I loved my movers Lamar and Scott. One simply cannot put furniture together and leave a pile of nuts and bolts left over. That makes my suggestion null and void. Do better and provide great service and fair pricing for all.
