We decided on Pitzer because he answered all of our questions clearly and explained all the steps to bring our yard back to health. He showed up the days he said he would (weather on our side) and did absolutely everything he promised would be done. We have a large front yard that required setting up four hoses attached to four tripods. He came back twice to adjust the tripods and explained the watering process importance to us. He comes back out two weeks after the initial seeding to see how it is doing and add any seed if necessary. We could not be more pleased with his skill and his service. Meh about describes this. When I first hired them four years ago they were probably okay. I will…read moresay their work is formulaic and not really specific to your yard. They show up each week and mow and trim, that part is good. I paid for weed and fertilizer services. That has been a disappointment. They also installed a roll of sod for me in a patchy spot, and didn't tell me how to take care of it. It died shortly thereafter and I spent a solid year overseeding and dropping top soil to bring that part of the lawn back. For what they charge, my lawn should be lush and green, it isn't. That tells me they aren't looking at my individual yard, they have standard processes that just aren't working. I still have bare patches, after four years of service. I have been pretty busy or I would have sought a new provider long ago.
