The other place had someone helping me who was also helping 2 other people at the same time giving each person a few minutes before rotating. I felt I was by myself almost the entire time. With motivate this wasn't the case at all. Christine worked with me the entire time while I was there for each session. She explained things very well and watched me doing the exercises to ensure they were done correctly. Well after a month my shoulder impingements were significantly better and I am now able to do certain motions that hurt in the past pain free. I've been to numerous PTs, to the point that I actually became quite skeptical about the efficacy of PT as a practice. Having recently had bilateral rotator cuff surgery, and after having walked out of another local PT appointment due to their lack of understanding of the issues, I decided on Peak. Dan Fishman, Bill, and Roland keep meticulous records; proof of an actual protocol was evident. I'd never experienced this before with any PT. Since working with them in early January, I have rehabilitated both shoulders to a point that the are functional. It's been grueling and time consuming, but the results are the proof. My Neurosurgeon specifically wrote no lumbar or core PT on the order, and this was discussed with Matthew during my evaluation, so he gave me things to do at home to help my foot strength. A few days later during my 1st PT session with Matthew, he had me do core work, which was not the plan and was not approved by my doctor. Then about halfway through my appt. Daniel (who never introduced himself) came over and asked me to do more core work which I refused to do since my surgery was only 9 days ago at the time. He then had me put a tension band around my knees and asked me to do side steps. I asked, "how is this helping my drop foot" and Daniel asked me if I had hip surgery. This kid literally didn't even know why I was there and what type of surgery I had or what my issues were. To me that is very irresponsible for a physical therapist to be advising a patient when they don't even know what the issues are. Advocate for your health !!! I was contacted by Matthew to discuss my issues after he read this review and was told Daniel isn't even a licensed physical therapist.

The front office handles scheduling, billing, medical insurance, all you have to do is relax and let the therapists do their jobs; which they do quite well. The therapists call you in at your appointed time and immediately you're doing something or receiving some sort of treatment, constantly. They don't waste your time. I've been at other Physical Therapy businesses and there were times when i was sitting around for long periods before the next modality. Watching the clock as they wasted my time and money. When I had a follow up with the prescribing physician I'd let them know my time is valuable and I would not be going back to that place. If they couldn't suggest another therapist I'd find another doctor. I don't entertain fools. This place does well because of these factors: efficient operations, competent therapists, and feed back to the prescribing physicians. Word of mouth worked wonders before the internet and social media. Now it's faster to eliminate the ineffectual, inefficient, inept practices.

I have family members…read morewho have had positive experience with the Chiropractor and one of the PT workers (younger male). Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience. The afternoon PT worker was more interested in pushing his MLM that helping me with my treatment. At one point he took my number, I assumed it was for appointments purposes. Odd because the front desk has my contact information. Turns out it was to send me a video to push a "miracle oil". I decided not to return and to elsewhere. Best thing I ever did. The new practice was wonderful. We did a number of exercises, gave me a workout plan for home, discussed what to look for with footwear and suggested adaptive equipment my insurance would cover. What a difference! I feel sad that people come for help and they are being pushed a product. People who need PT are vulnerable, often elderly or young kids on sports teams. They need help getting back to their normal activities. It wasn't professional or at all ethical.
