I received that with Motion- Monroe West. They created a challenging approach (exactly what I wanted) and they worked with me during my recovery and pivoted when I was sore or when pain appeared to be lingering longer that expected. I never doubted that I was on the road to recovery thanks to them. Each time that I arrived they asked questions to access whether an adjustment in therapy needed to be made for the day. Or if I wasn't being challenged enough and was ready for the next level of progression in my therapy. They even implemented and employed several alternative approaches to my recovery that I would not have considered or thought of. This was all initiated by them constantly asking questions to ensure that I was constantly progressing Caleigh, Jennifer, Jordyn and Devin were all amazing and regularly went above and beyond for the patients. I was miserable two days ago but I went to pt hoping I would feel better. NEVER has it opened without shots or surgeries!! When I got there I was so miserable & Shayna (my PT) got it opened!!!! Today I went and she got my jaw to open double the amount they could even open under anesthesia!! I have never had it open this much in 25 yrs!! She really is amazing!!!! I have been going to Access Physical Therapy & Wellness for over 2 years. The staff is great; very concerned about your welfare. I now have the use of my left arm. I can now bend my elbow, raise my wrist and move my fingers. I still have a long way to go. Physical therapy and occupational is the only place where they cause you pain. Then you have to cause yourself pain by doing what they showed you. Then you smile, say thank you and I'll see you tomorrow. From the first phone call you know you're dealing with professionals. Nancy was sympathetic to my needs and accommodated me and set up my appointments immediately. I am now being treated by Jessica, Physical Therapist. I'm always greeted with a smile and she is always concerned with how I'm feeling and what we can do to make it better. I always feel good after a session at Access Physical Therapy. A nice plus is that I get a text message reminder the prior day. Very helpful. My Neurosurgeon specifically wrote no lumbar or core PT on the order, and this was discussed with Matthew during my evaluation, so he gave me things to do at home to help my foot strength. A few days later during my 1st PT session with Matthew, he had me do core work, which was not the plan and was not approved by my doctor. Then about halfway through my appt. Daniel (who never introduced himself) came over and asked me to do more core work which I refused to do since my surgery was only 9 days ago at the time. He then had me put a tension band around my knees and asked me to do side steps. I asked, "how is this helping my drop foot" and Daniel asked me if I had hip surgery. This kid literally didn't even know why I was there and what type of surgery I had or what my issues were. To me that is very irresponsible for a physical therapist to be advising a patient when they don't even know what the issues are. Advocate for your health !!! I was contacted by Matthew to discuss my issues after he read this review and was told Daniel isn't even a licensed physical therapist.
