I was fully transparent with what I was looking for and provided the instructions because I knew it was an odd task and I didn't want this to become exactly what it did... After two days and hundreds of dollars, I was left with a barely built and bent gazebo. This included whole pieces not put back on and a giant hole in the mosquito netting. Not only did they not complete the job, they ruined the gazebo. I received no reimbursement of any kind. And on top of everything, they were extremely late showing up both days and communication was terrible. Sucks because they were nice guys in person, but I don't think this is the right career path for them.

They were so high on dope when they got here, they didn't even know their name. Their boss Dalvin dropped two guys off to unload half of my truck because they were one hour late and my brother in law and I unloaded half of the truck already. When they came into the house, my sister and my brother law were in the house with me. We had to walk outside due to the smell of the stench of the pot was so bad. We were constantly asking them to please not just carry one piece of an item or one piece of clothing in at a time. At one time I walked outside to see what they were doing and they were sitting in back of truck smoking. One of the guys said we're waiting for our boss to get back before we move anything. Mind you the truck was already half unloaded, and I paid for a 2 hour unload. Dalvin went to the gas station to pick up something. Long story short, they destroyed my steal door by ramming boxes and crates into it. Put scratches and grooves in my walls and broken trim. Walked right through the sliding glass screen door while it was closed and ripped the screen off. There's a whole bunch of things that they screwed up. When I contacted Dalvin he was suppose to come out to assess the damage after I sent him pictures within a couple of days, he never did. I had to call him to make sure that he was coming, he had forgotten. After assessing the place he told me that he would fix my trim, walls, end table and screen. I was to get an estimate on replacing door and fixing my brand new bedroom dresser that they scratched badly. He told me he was busy but would get to it and I said take your time due to the weather being so bad. It's been mo's now and no contact back on Dalvins end. I have called but no messages could be left. Last weekI texted him and he responded, let me call you on me break. Never called. I left Dalvin a text message stating that I needed him to call me and a plan to resolve my issues within a certain date. That date as come and gone with no response. I got these guys name off of Uhaul Moving.com. They have provided all the contact info and information so I can now take them to small claims court. Beware before using these guys! I would never recommend them for anything! I ONLY GAVE THEM A STAR CAUSE I HAD TO IN ORDER TO POST THIS!

Two Men and a Truck moved our household items locally in Holland, Michigan in April, 2025…read more Although the people sent to our house were good to work with, when we got to our new house we noticed really, really poor packing, unlabeled boxes, and a lot of broken and damaged items. We rejected their initial low offer ($500) for the damaged items. We obtained quotes, priced comparables and submitted a claim of $1338. All the damage (except $60) and the unlabeled boxes were caused by one employee. Their offer went from $500 to $600. After we contacted custotomer service the offer went to $800, final offer. So we sued them in small claims court for the total amount and won. They paid the total amount plus our court costs.

A manager from Two Men and a Truck contacted me after reading my review and wanted to make things…read moreright. He was very understanding. After talking for a brief time he asked if I had a price in mind and I told him I would have been ok if the price had come in at the mid-range, $600. The manager said he would refund the amount needed to bring the final price down to $600, and he did just that. That raises my opinion of the company, and since the movers did such a good job, I would probably use Two Men and a Truck again. I would still need to get a more solid price up front though.
