The pottery was unpacked and put on bookshelves. Books are in the garage. Today I finally unpacked a microwave bowl that I've needed. This is a third of what went south. WOW! So..... Do you…read moredo vehicle safety inspections? If so what kind of cracker jack mechanics do you use? Every tire was low, the front passenger should have been replaced some time ago, steering wheel shakes like a brick in a dryer, oil wasnt reading on the dipstick, trailer tires were also low (all of them unless they are only suppose to have 25 to 30 psi)(sticker says 65),Got to have the steering wheel at 10 o'clock to keep it straight(ish), transmission is definitely due for a inspection hard shifting first and second but slips coming out of third, tow haul button does not work (so that's nice). Truck will barely get up to speed going down hill. I'm heading to West Virginia... pretty hilly state, I'm sure it's going be a blast. I was a delivery driver for more than 4 years and have driven more box trucks then I can remember. But I guarantee that this one I WILL remember, don't be proud of that. We were only moving 20 minutes down the road so it was scheduled for a one day job that lasted until 10 PM. Because there were only two guys on the job they were completely exhausted when unloading so many things were broken. When I finally got a hold of Steve at Allies Van Line he was not apologetic and offered no partial refund. It was cold and raining that day which made it even more difficult for the two men doing what should have been a four-man job in hind site. One positive I will say is that they provided a lot of boxes for us to pack since we were not hiring them for packing. The overall cost was the lowest estimate we got. When it comes to moving I've learned it's worth paying a little more for quality service and customer care.
