They were very supportive and super nice and "appeared" to be working hard to get us what we needed. We already had a loan from a lender from the first vehicle and we wanted to stay within budget and we were NOT putting anymore money down, as we already did that with the last vehicle and it was stolen 3 days after we bought it. So they said that was fine and they found us a vehicle , all was well, they were putting it through the shop to make sure it was road worthy and detailing it for us etc. They even went as far as making me get insurance on it while I waited. . .then when it came time to pick up the new vehicle, I sent them my insurance papers and instantly they called me to say the vehicle THEY sold to me had $2500 dollars worth of damages and I HAD TO pay for it or they were selling it to someone else that day. We never touched the thing. It is not our responsibility to repair the vehicles on a dealership lot before we buy it. They took the vehicle back. Shockingly enough they cha he's their friendly tone and said tough shit pay up or go without. We went without, and had to cancel insurance again. Do not go to Automaxx. They don't want to help you, they want to rob you. Take my advice. Go to house of cars for god sake, and that's just as bad, but better than the treatment we got here.

They have contacted us multiple times after our purchase, which was in mid March, asking if we wanted to buy another vehicle not realizing that they had just sold us one. The worst of it is that we had the van for less than four months and now the back brakes AND calipers need replaced at a cost of over $1000. BUYER BEWARE I…read morepurchased a vehicle from Double L Motors on October 11, 2025. On October 14--just three days later--the oil pump failed and left me stranded on the side of the highway. I had to pay over $200 out of pocket for a tow back to the dealership, which they refused to reimburse. Despite me warning them not to, the salesman, not a mechanic, started and drove the vehicle with no oil, causing a misfire and damaging the engine. What could have been a simple oil pump repair turned into a full engine replacement. This left me without transportation for 18 days, and the dealership refused to cover a rental or provide a loaner vehicle, forcing me to pay out of pocket for a rental to get to work. I live nearly an hour outside the city, and they made no effort to help. Instead of focusing on fixing the issue, the salesman Hussain Assef was more concerned about getting me to remove my negative Google review. When I mentioned I'd be escalating it to AMVIC, Hussain laughed and told me to "have fun" because it would take at least six months to see my money. This dismissive and unprofessional response clearly shows the dealership's lack of respect for their customers. They were obviously more interested in their image than they were about my vehicle. Having the customer pay almost a grand out of pocket while they fixed their lemon that didn't even make it 150km is their idea of "making it right." When I picked up the vehicle after the engine swap, they again asked me to take the google review down. When I refused, the owner chased me into the parking lot telling me I was a piece of sh!t and to go f#ck myself. About as unprofessional as a company could be. The situation has been escalated to AMVIC and the Better Business Bureau for investigation. This was the worst car buying experience of my life. AVOID DOUBLE L MOTORS.

When I took a test drive both the car keys did not work and I was told just the battery is out on the keys and need replacement and it seemed a fair reason and I didn't say anything about that. When the deal was finalising I told them the brakes need replacement as I could see it worn out (I work as an automotive tech). They said yes we will take care of the brakes and get them replaced. I signed all the paperwork and deal was done. Then there was a bit of delay with my insurance and I said I will pick up the car in a few days. They didn't wait on that too and got it delivered to my home and I confirmed with them on call that all the work is done and the message I received back was yes and I also might have the call recordings of that. Then when I saw the car the brakes were the same old. The keys battery never replaced. I replaced the key battery myself and got a new surprise that one key works sometimes and the other one never works. Even the remote starter doesn't work on any of the keys. I visited them again and asked to get this matter looked at and they said we can check it for you but we will not fix it in warranty or any claims. WORST DEALERSHIP EVER BOUGHT A CAR AT.
