Normal door to the bathroom would provide privacy, barn door doesn't. It is difficult to say something nice about this Hilton when you just stayed in much nicer Hilton at the beach, awesome breakfast and great room with balcony... Parking here is free and you can access your vehicle quicker than when you wait for valet parking (the beach hotel had valet parking in parking garage across the street). The mini fridge is somewhat cold, your frozen goods will defrost, but they have ice available, so you can keep stuff cold in your cooler. The room is also equipped with tiny microwave and iron with ironing board... The dining room style lamp hanging on one side of the bed, will give you headache after you bump it with your head every time you climb in bed or reach to the "nightstand", some USBports are broken, not enough of charging options. TV guide is the old-fashioned loop ... Air-condition makes strange noises, but after listening to it for 24 hours, you will get used to it and won't be surprised anymore. The water pressure of the faucet is inadequate, shower works OK, water is scolding hot. I would prefer to stay somewhere else next time. Environmental service employees are very nice and helpful, I thought that it is important to mention this! Otherwise I agree with other reviews that mention things guests didn't enjoy or why this is not awesome place to stay.

The breakfast was lackluster with old and dark bananas and old and dried out tangerines Coffee was appreciated But the room was a letdown: it felt dated, with a broken toilet seat, torn wallpaper, and even some mold near the sprinkler. The bed sagged, and the fourth floor had a strange sewage smell. The biggest frustration was housekeeping! my belongings were moved, essentials like toothpaste and blankets were missing, and basic supplies weren't restocked. Parking was buried under snow piles, and the elevator button didn't work. The gym was simple but functional. They also advertise a restaurant that no longer exists, and their app hasn't been updated since the new year. Then your usual cereal, yogurt, waffle maker and lastly bagels and pastries. Ample parking and they did a great job shoveling and salting as well with the snow. We did get beverages from their little snack / drink area and the prices were not bad either. All in all, really quality Marriott hotel brand!

tomer Service Shout Out to Jean, Johnny, and Doreen of the Radnor Hotel in Saint Davids,…read morePennsylvania. On May 8, 2026, my husband and I had lodgings for an overnight stay after attending a family wedding. Our accommodation was clean, noise level was quiet, and hotel was clean and modern. The restaurant housed the after-wedding party which consisted of french fries, chicken tenders, various egg rolls, and dessert; all of which was very good. I would recommend staying here based on the above, but the outstanding customer service support raised it to another level. Here's my story. We live in New Jersey, roughly 2 1/2 hours away. At approximately 2:30 in the afternoon my husband received a call from the hotel telling him I had left my pocketbook in the safe. Anyone who has done this before knows the sinking feeling of leaving behind a wallet filled with credit cards, driver's license, medical insurance cards, and cash. Since it was a Saturday, hotel management agreed to send it overnight via FedEx on Monday; I was asked to call to confirm delivery. On Monday I spoke with Jean (at the front desk) and explained the reason for my call. I informed her that I hadn't verified the contents of my pocketbook and asked if she could do this before shipment. Once Jean located the package whereabouts, she had to ensure the front desk had coverage. She retrieved the package which had been prepared for mailing, unsealed it and confirmed its contents. Jean then informed me it would be driven to the FedEx office for shipment. Thank you Jean for staying positive and patient with me. Later that day, I missed a call from the manager, Johnny. His voice mail said that our credit card was declined (human error) and asked that I provide another. His message also gave detailed shipment options and costs. Johnny returned to the hotel. I called back shortly after with another credit card. The package was driven back again, and the credit card transaction was approved. In speaking with Johnny, I asked who found my pocketbook as I wanted to thank the individual. He informed me that it is hotel protocol to have a manager check the vacated rooms to see if guests have left any personal belongings behind. The manager's name is Doreen; however, we never had the pleasure of a conversation. Thank you Johnny for your persistence in getting my pocketbook to me. Thank you Doreen for your honesty and ensuring my pocketbook was turned in to hotel management. To conclude, I applaud the honesty, willingness to assist, and patience of Doreen, Jean, and Johnny. I hope the home office, which I will contact, will take note of their commitment to providing the Radnor Hotel's guests with outstanding service and to a very happy ending to what could have been a sad story. Sincerely, Marie J.

You have endless excellent food choices: the Tripe Crown on premise or Fleming's Prime Steakhouse next door are my favorites. I walked over to Smashburger one night which is pretty much across the street. I love that complimentary tea and coffee, ready and 6am, in their snack area with vending machines and pretty much any misc. item you may need. The hotel located quite close to many colleges including Villanova University where my son is a student. The location is ideal: right off Route 476 at Lancaster Avenue. That proximity matters when you are driving around that area which has a bizarre amount of traffic. I enjoy getting to and from wherever I am going quickly & with ease. I can even walk to Villanova, a quick 20 min (1 mile) - which matters during graduation, family weekend etc. when parking is challenging. Since my son started Nova in the Fall of '23, I have only stayed at this hotel and I will continue to do so until he graduates a year from now.

I have to say, this experience was nothing short of spectacular. We booked the trip to attend a wedding in the family, and they did a beautiful job of hosting the wedding at the resort. Everything was very well put together, the bartenders were extremely attentive and kind, and they didn't miss a single detail. They treated our whole group very well. We were there for four days, and we enjoyed many of the amenities at the resort. We loved the lazy river, and all of the pools available to the guests. My partner loved the karaoke night and really enjoyed all of the nightlife activities. The food was out of this world, and I will include some photos from the delicious meals that we've had. All of the food was very fresh, and I loved that they had stations at the buffet where you could get customized meals; we ended up doing a lot of the custom Pasta and steak combos. We loved that they had a ton of different types of food and they had food for a variety of dietary restrictions which allowed all of our group to be able to enjoy meals together at the resort. We were mind blown that all of the drinks were included in the package, and definitely got our fill on all of the different cocktails! The bartenders were very knowledgable and we were even able to request some specialty drinks that they hadn't heard of before, which they made very well even without much guidance! We did room service a couple of the nights that we were there, and every time, the person who delivered our food made extra effort to make sure that we had everything we needed and would come into the room to set the food up just right. We were so impressed with the staff across the resort and everything available to us during our stay, and we would absolutely come back .

Tatinana also looked after us throughout our stay and would pop by many of our dinners to say hello, talk about the day and make sure we had everything we needed.  A highlight of the property for us was the cabanas along the lazy river pool.  This area of the resort is truly a standout feature - the perfect mix of peace/relaxation and also socialization as other guests pass by on the river.  So many staff on property made an effort to learn our names and our service animal's name, which really put smiles on our faces.  We can't say enough great things about this property and would definitely consider returning.  Also we want to note how comfortable we felt as LGBT guests at the property - all of the staff made us feel right at home at all times. Food/bev add'l review As stated earlier, we were extremely pleased with the quality and amount of food available at all locations on property.  We were also extremely touched by the custom dog cake that the culinary staff created for our service animal's birthday.  It really surpassed our expectations.  Also Tatinana and the culinary staff went out of their way to ensure blueberries were offered to us and our service animal, which we know are not always readily available - but they knew it was one of her favorite foods and made us all so happy for our week away from home.

Check-in was smooth, but the Hilton Honors welcome bag was a little disappointing (just two bottles of water and a couple mints). We had a room at the end of the hall on the top floor, which was nice because there was a large wedding party staying at the hotel and we were far away from any potential noise. Our room was quite spacious, with a sitting area that could have easily accommodated a second king-sized bed. The lighting was a little dim - the entryway was bright, but the room otherwise only had a corner lamp on one end of the room, a table lamp on the desk, and two lamps on either side of the bed. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not as fluffy as we would like. They were feather pillows that compressed quite a bit when you lay your head on them. They also were smaller than typical king bed pillows. The TV was mounted on the wall between the bed and the couch, so it was at a 90 degree angle from both. Though it did swivel about 45 degrees in both directions, there was no way to watch TV straight on unless you were sitting at the desk in the middle of the room. The bathroom was also spacious and brightly lit, with plenty of counter space. The towels were soft and fresh. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, but it took a long time for the water to warm up. The free breakfast was good, but not spectacular. I always enjoy the waffle machines, and thankfully there wasn't too long of a wait to use them on both mornings. The eggs / omelets were a little flat (I believe they are premade and frozen and shipped to the hotel to be reheated). The sausage links were good and moist. The muffins were a bit on the dry and hard side. There were limited fruit options (bananas and apples). The orange juice was a little watery. So, this is about what I'd expect from a Hampton Inn. This place has the added advantage of being very close to downtown Media, with a lot of dining options. I guess that makes it somewhat unique among the Hampton Inn chain, which tend to be on the outskirts of town or more commercial / industrial areas. We'd certainly consider staying here again.

They had just repaved the parking lot, that day, and half of it was closed off. We found a spot when we got there to check in during the late afternoon, but my Brother went out late night and came back and there were no spots. Thankfully, they let him park his car under the overhang by checkin and our car was still there in the morning ;-). We also had a room on the first floor and when we got inside, the AC didnt work. It wasn't too hot, but I need my AC in the hotel for white noise and I like to sleep cold. The front desk guy switched our rooms right away when I brought it to his attention, so that was good. Would I stay here again? Yeah, probably. The room and beds were comfy and it was located near where we had to be.

That's fine. Honestly, I'm not looking for attention. But when she then proceeded to tell me about "breakfast is 6-9am, lobby snacks available, etc... " it was then that I realized she actually had zero interest in my patronage or my experience. At 12:30pm, the fire alarm goes off. I stay in hotels a lot... and when this has happened in the past, a quick phone call downstairs tells me whether or not to leave. No answer. So we do what we are supposed to and leave. Guests evacuated. We are all standing in the parking lot. No employees. Anywhere. No fire department. Anywhere. I go back inside to try to find someone. I walk behind the front desk. I go to the back offices. I'm walking through... yelling, "HELLO?!?!? IS ANYONE HERE? HELLO?" No response. No one. Sirens keep blarring. I go back outside. No hotel staff. No fire department. Everyone standing around... Was this a crime scene now? I call 911. Finally, fire department shows up (1 truck)... They go inside and do the same thing. Look around the office. Yell for someone... anyone... One of them comes back outside and gets on the phone. Then he goes back inside. Sirens still blasting. Marriott employees ... no where to be found. A few mins later the fire chief comes back outside and says we can all go back inside. A few people immediately get in line at the desk (probably forgot to take their keys). Now some employee has appeared. This is a different woman than the one who checked us in less than 2 hours ago. She has a huge smile on her face like she's greeting a parade crowd... No explanation. No concern. Absolutely no acknowledgement that anything had just happened as all guests file past her. What a horrible experience. I was here for 5 hours due to a flight cancellation. As a guest of the Marriott properties for decades - across the USA and Europe with a very high elite status, I know Marriott properties. I cannot understand how this one is allowed to carry the brand name. Where the hell was she? Was ANYONE? Why are there no employees ANYWHERE in the hotel in the middle of the night?? Not safe. Not comfortable. Not cool. Do better, Marriott.

Outside, the B&B is tucked onto a forested and winding hillside, surrounding you with green leaves and views of the sky. It's easy to forget that you're less than 30 minutes away from downtown Philadelphia. And there's plenty of parking in the B&B's lot. Our room was a good size, but it was better for sleeping in and going out. It might have been a bit small if we planned on spending significant time just hanging out in the room as there wasn't much space around the very comfortable bed and the one chair, which was a plush and comfortable reading chair. The room also had an armoire, TV, and a short hall off of which the bathroom was located. (The rooms do vary in size, so again, that's just my view of the room we were in.) The breakfasts here are excellent and include what may be the best scones I've ever had. (I'm delayed in writing my review by several months, but the memory of those scones is still vivid. YUM!!!) Breakfast is served mainly in a kitsch-filled dining room, that's bright from high ceilings and sliding doors at one end of the room. The dining room table - a heavy wood table, suiting the atmosphere - 'only' seats 8 though, so if the table's full you may have to wait or choose to eat in one of the nearby rooms on a tray; when the weather's nice, there's more seating outside.
