This was a good stay. While the hotel was enjoyable the location was the selling point, a great running route shopping right around the corner and a covered parking lot. The massive loss was there was no breakfast. Even with status

I added a note at the end of this! I've stayed at this hotel many times, but they are starting to let it slip in some areas. Example. The gym isn't being cleaned daily. Lack of towels and lack of disinfectant clothes to wipe down the machines afterwards. I tried to get a razor for two days and mentioned it to them on Sunday when I checked in. They just kept saying they were out. Not helpful at all. Most hotels, even the really bad ones have razors. The breakfast buffet is $21. Very expensive for so little. So I recommend going to a local restaurant. The people are nice but I did notice a change in the front desk staff. Typically they are there to answer questions etc. but on 3-4 occasions I waited for over 5 min waiting on someone to come out of the side room to check out my purchases for water. Also the refrigerator in the lobby with waters and perishables seemed to be warm. I wouldn't trust cheese, meat, yogurts or coconut water at that temp. Needs to be looked at for sure. Nice hotel and great location, but I have noticed some changes in the last 6 months. ***OMG. I JUST FINISHED Writing the review, and just happen to stop by and talk to the young lady at the front desk Carmen. She walked back there and grab razors. And the other guy for two days said they absolutely didn't have them. I would've given this a worst review, but Carmen made my day. What a great person and so friendly. Thank you Carmen.

Huge potential but lacking a bit... -Connected to Dadeland Mall which is very convenient. Nice restaurant choices and of course, shopping options. -Connection to mall meaning you walk directly into Macy's from second floor of hotel. This is nice when traveling for work. I felt safe. -Free parking is nice -Room was modern and clean. I especially like that there's no carpet. -Bathroom also nice, clean and modern but key items missing; no wash cloths and no soap/body wash in built in shower dispensers. They're literally completely empty. Not ideal! -Shower has dual function; rain shower head and handheld. Nice. -Bathroom also included makeup mirror, which is also a nice touch -Hotel seems to only have one functional elevator. Ended up taking the stairs most of the time. Less than ideal. -Fantastic service at bar even with only one server. Tuesday 9/10/24 6PM bartender is a great addition to this place. -Check in employee provided ZERO info about hotel, accommodations, etc... I would probably stay again, but I would check bathroom items before showering.

Out of words with this New Brand located behind Macys! AC HOTEL is the new hotel located in Dadeland Mall and it feels like new from the moment you walk in to do check in. At check in i received a discount for my night stay before booking our suite. Right across dadeland you have luxurious condos and you also have a mini mall with some small shops! The hotel is small but it seems like a boutique once you walk in which every typical Marriott has in Miami. The modem design of the rooms and lounge with the tan and the gray looks made it very relaxing. Every staff member downstairs in the lobby to us going up to the floors made themselves available for us at anytime which most hotels don't even have the service! The fitness center has everything you need for a full work out, we were able to put a work out in because we only stayed for a one night stay to have a relaxing time but we are definitely looking forward to going for a weekend stay at this hotel again! The pool is in a very small area but it looks luxurious with outdoor access to the full bar and food. Felt like a home of a rich friend in an island! The room rate was reasonable for a one night stay. The parking was free! Oh AND we were told that theirs no guest fee like in Miami Beach or in Brickell to bring a guest if we were able to come next time! But once again im amazed by this hotel! Coming back again!

Eduardo and Tawnia checked me in and ensured that I was well taken care of. They found out I was celebrating my birthday and went out of their way to make my trip special. I really appreciate them going above and beyond to ensure my stay was excellent. My favorite part of staying here was being so close to the mall, which gave tons of great dining options. I also loved that parking was free. Bed was so comfortable. Drinks from the AC lounge were terrific. I can't wait to visit again on my next trip to Miami

This is a great bar with a nice view. It has a lovely ambiance and the menu is decent. The reason why it doesn't have a 5 star review is because there are no wine or beer lists. Our amazing bartender Jocelyn, as awesome as she is, was busy and unable to tell us the whole list. I understand that the hotel is new, 2 and a half years. But a beer and wine list would be helpful to the patrons that would frequent this bar. Please consider in adding a beer and wine list to the bar area!!!

This an amazing stylishly hotel, affordable, clean, spacious room, safe, great location and the bed are one of the most comfortable. Love it! The parking it's complementary. Thank you Nicky for being so welcome, happy, cheerful and knowledgeable. Thank you everyone definitely I can't wait to come back and explore the hotel.

Loved the lounge area for work calls and apps after

Thank you to the staff for accommodating our wedding party during F1 Weekend. Everyone was easy to talk too and the rooms were a great space to come home too after a long night! Best sleep Ive had in a long time in a hotel!

The property is beautiful, and the service is exactly what you would expect from a Four Seasons. One of the highlights was definitely the pool area. They have a separate section for kids, which was perfect for my daughter. She absolutely loved it and had an amazing time! It's nice to find a luxury hotel where adults can relax while the little ones enjoy themselves too. We also had dinner at one of the restaurants on the property. I can't remember the name, but I ordered the steak, and it was excellent! Great food and a beautiful setting. Between the atmosphere, the pool, the dining, and the overall hospitality, everything was fantastic. The location in Brickell is another huge plus. Whether you're visiting as a couple or bringing the family, this place is a winner. Five stars without hesitation!

It's very unfriendly and unaccommodating and illogical at these prices. Aside from that, pool is gorgeous, lobby bar fantastic with great lounge music at night and Nuna very good. It's a beautiful hotel if life finds you in the Brickell area. But for those traveling with your pets, go elsewhere. The Betsy is a very pet friendly hotel, for one. Ordered the salmon from the pet menu. It's more like a human serving, which is fine, with salmon, rice, asparagus, lettuce greens and some sort of sauce, like aoli. $20 was a fair price for it.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night prior to a cruise. We used credit-card points to pay for the room. The employee at the front desk spoke nicely with us and allowed us to check into our room early. Our room had a balcony, king-sized bed, television, desk and chair, sofa, closets, large walk-in shower, wi-fi, and views of the bay. The room was comfortable and clean, but we could sometimes hear our neighbor's loud music. I did notice that the floor boards had gaps and that some wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. Building amenities included a business center, meeting rooms, swimming pool, fitness center, a restaurant, etcetera. This hotel has a restaurant called Caña, and we ate one meal there. I will review it separately under its Yelp listing, but it was decent.

Unfortunately, guests have no alternative parking option and are required to use the hotel's valet service. During my stay, the valet appears to have hit a concrete barrier, causing damage to one of my wheels. I would strongly caution anyone staying here, especially if you care about your vehicle.

Really easy beach access and access to the cobblestone walking area at the back of the hotel where you can ride a bike or walk. If you are an early bird, definitely recommend getting up early and utilizing the complimentary bike rentals. I believe you get 2 free hours which is more than enough time for an early morning ride. We rode our bikes to Starbucks, drank our coffee and then rode back. Again, try leaving early because the area gets really busy with walkers, runners, bikers and also people on rollerblades. One other thing to note is that we visited around July 4th. To view the multiple firework shows, grab a chair and walk along the beach. The pool area had great entertainment and games including bean bags and ping pong. The pool itself was not the largest pool but we were able to find a place to lounge each time. The pool was also heated which typically I would say was a plus but in July, it was a bit much at times. Great staff, very friendly and always smiling. Let's talk about the rooms. The rooms were above average in terms of design and cleanliness. The bathroom was an interesting one. Small. Too small. Made it hard to enjoy the shower or find places to put your stuff. The weird thing is that there were two closets. A large one specifically on the opposite wall of the bathroom. Why did they not use that space instead to make the bathroom bigger? No clue. As always be careful if you remove stuff from the fridges since you will get charged on your room bill. I have stayed at hotels such as Loews and Fontainebleau and this one is definitely a step below those hotels. Would I stay there again? Absolutely.

From the moment we arrived with check-in, getting our bags to our room, we were treated like true VIPs. Once we got to the room, we had time to change and head to the pool. The evenings were great as we were able to sit out on the balcony and relax, while at the same time being in the lobby or hitting the restaurant was always great. We took advantage of the on-site yoga classes and the beach every day while we were there. The beach area was nice, in the servers supporting the beach I felt did their best to accommodate all of the guests outside. If you're a frequent AMEX user, I would definitely recommend going through your AMEX as it really did just make a difference. The grounds were well kept the pool was clean. The staff was friendly and most importantly, we had an overall great experience. I would definitely recommend it for anybody coming to South Beach to come here, as it's centrally located and it's easily accessible to lots of other activities you may want to consider.

There are parking garages close by, but plan ahead -- you'll be in for a rough time if you have a lot of luggage to carry. I was able to find parking in advance on one of the apps. The check-in experience is a bit odd, as its self-directed: just you and an iPad (although an employee was nearby and helpful to those who needed it). The identity verification took a hot minute, but it was seamless otherwise. And it gave me my choice of room views and late check-out through my Marriott status (nice not to have to debate with an agent for that!). The rooms are TINY. If you've been on a cruise ship, you'll have a similar feeling in a room here. The bathroom is a sort of wet bath setup, with the toilet and shower in the same little enclosure. The toilet is cruise ship size, but the shower is a little more generous. The room is the width of the king bed and no wider, but the storage options are creative, including a little alcove at the room entrance, some built-in storage on the sink vanity, and several drawers under the bed. Everything in the room is controlled by an older iPad -- the lights, the climate, the blinds, the TV, etc. it was a little slow, and I didn't see an option to actually choose a specific temperature for the room (just warmer or cooler), but it worked. The highlights: the bed was, for me, incredibly comfortable. I like a firm bed, and this definitely was. But I slept really well. And part of that was the fun "mood lighting" options you could set which coordinated color room lighting and visualizations on the TV. You can make the room DARK with the blinds closed, but I thought the view was gorgeous and not disruptively bright at night. I also liked the rooftop pool -- very small, but comfortable and again with great views. I wouldn't stay here with anyone I wasn't comfortable enough with to leave little to the imagination when it comes to a bathroom, but I'd absolutely come back for a solo or couples' getaway.

The iPad that controls the tv is a joke and good luck getting it to watch what you want. Small rooms with real no privacy if it's you and someone else.
