John came by at 6pm on a Friday night, found and dealt with the issue (bad connection in a wall box) in a very timely manner. Used ACDC electric for some recessed lights installation including installing a new switch and also expanding some outlets from 1 gang to 2 gang outlets. Although I live don't live near Tracy, I used John from ACDC for his work and it was worth it. First of all, his pricing is much more reasonable than other quotes I got. Also, since my job wasn't a huge one, many other electricians/contracters either didn't want to do the job or didn't even bother returning my call or emails. John, was straightforward, gave me an estimate of his pricing over the phone and gave me the full estimate when he came before he started the work. there were no surprises, it was all straightforward. Best of all, I was able to communicate with him and his staff via email, sending them pictures and links to things so he was able to get all the right parts and have it ready on the day he came. While he was there I thought of 2 other small things to do (run some HDMI cabling through the wall and expanding a 1 gang outlet to a 2 gang) and he was able to do that in addition to the original job. that was great because it saved me another visit and another day off of work.
