There's a reason AC&H Services gets great reviews! I'll add another! Amazing service! Great pricing! 7/20/2025, a hot day in PA. Came home from church Sunday to a warm house. We have a problem. Thermostat was set to 75, temp was reading 78, and climbing. We have out of town guests coming in 4 days. If we can't resolve this we'll have to arrange for a hotel, not to mention living in miserable heat and humidity. Good luck getting an AC repair in 4 days in the heat of summer! I expect this will be a painful and costly process. I was out Monday and not able to call, so now I'm down to 3 days. After looking over reviews, I decide to call AC&H Services. Scott and Chris have nothing but good reviews. They start at 0700 so I'll try to call and see how far out their schedule is. I call at 7:10. Scott asks for my address and says he'll be here this morning. Wow, impressed that he can get me in today, I think he'll come around lunchtime, walk around and give me an estimate and schedule a future day to come back to do the work. Not at all what happens. Doorbell rings at 7:25! 15 minutes after the phone call! It gets better! At the door, not much in the way of introductions, Scott immediately begins asking questions, what happens, what doesn't happen. Looks at the thermostat for a few seconds, then he and Chris head around back to look at the condenser. Quickly they figure out it's a bad contactor. A relatively inexpensive part that they have on hand in the truck. Just a couple of minutes later and the AC is back online, the house is cooling, the invoice is written, and that's that! I'm good to go and they're ready to leave 30 minutes from the time I called! Clearly things worked out for me and the odds of everything working out don't often happen. One of the reasons I called his business, other than the killer reviews, is that he's very local to me and I hoped it would help, and it did. It's a testament to their professionalism and customer service that, not being an AC expert, Scott could have sold me anything at huge markups because I needed it fixed now. That's not how it went, and I can't express how grateful I am. If at all possible, I will absolutely give Scott my future HVAC business and have, in-fact, advised him that when things slow for him in the fall, I'll want him to replace my old AC unit with something more modern. 10/10 recommend AC&H Services! read more

Ac and heating are critical systems but finding the right contractor often seems like a gamble. We had an issue this past week in the middle of the heat wave with our upstairs unit and found Scott on yelp. The other reviews mentioned that his service was quick, trustworthy and reasonably priced. I called him expecting to have to be in a wait list but pleasantly surprised when he said he would at least stop that day to try and diagnose the issue. He worked to resolve the problem and I completely echo the sentiments of the other reviews. If you're looking for reliable trustworthy ac or heating needs, give Scott a call. read more

Very pleased with AC&H's service. Our air conditioner went out over three weeks ago. We had another HVAC company make a call. They pushed very hard to replace the entire heating and cooling system but indicated we could put a bandaid on it for about $1000.00. We opted for the repair over the replacement. The other company again pushed to replace the entire system and finally reluctantly agreed to do the repair. They indicated it would take a couple of days to get the repair parts. That was the last we heard from that company. No return calls. AC&H arrived within an hour of my call. After assessing the issues, they recommended against replacing the system and performed some maintenance. They had the system up and running again in less than an hour and for a very reasonable price. We recommend AC&H. read more

I called Scott at 10:30am today the Sat before Easter and he came out to look at our furnace within 20 minutes. He is a professional and very knowledgeable, he is honest and does fast work! He even let us work out our bill in two payments. Good customer service is very hard to find these days, so I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs HVAC work in the Central PA area. I called AC&H about my A/C not working. They came over and checked it out - turned out to be a bad compressor. My unit was fairly old so I decided to convert from an all electric heat pump to a propane aux system. While I was at it, I decided to replace my old electric water heater with a propane unit. AC&H ordered all equipment & parts and within a week they installed new exhaust venting and hooked up the new units. Terrific job! I will definitely be using AC&H again. read more

I called AC&H because my natural gas heater wasn't working in the middle of January! Not okay! Scott answered my call and walked me through some trouble shooting things to see if I could get it working. I tried but gave up, I called him back and he was so nice to agree to come over the next morning to take a look. He called me to give me a heads up before he arrived (which was much appreciated because I was getting ready for work). He came in and after looking at my heater for a bit he told me that it needed a new pilot light. However he was able to rig the pilot so the heater would stay lit. Scott was incredibly nice and professional and accommodating. He said if it the heater continued to give me problems he would order the new part for me no problem.
