This is my second review of this HVAC company…read more Our air conditioner failed on Saturday night. I called and saw Anders and left a message and they returned the call in 15 minutes. We made arrangements to have one of their A/C technicians come on first thing Sunday morning at 9 AM. The technician properly diagnosed the failed compressor and because the unit was 18 years old recommended that the compressor not be replaced but that the whole air conditioning unit be replaced. On Monday morning by 8:30 AM I had received two proposals for two different Train air conditioning units. I responded right away and selected one of the units. Ensor and Sowers ordered the unit and juggled around their work schedule to have it installed on Thursday morning. Installation was from 7:30 AM to about 12:30 PM. The two Ensor and Sowers technicians were cordial and efficient. I took away the whole unit and cleaned up everything in the basement and in the furnace area where the exchange coil was installed in the furnace Plenum They checked to make sure everything was working properly in conjunction with my Honeywell wireless thermostat before they left. This is just another chapter in a year's long excellent relationship that I have enjoyed with this HVAC company. This company is always quick to respond to telephone messages, uses good brand-name equipment, schedules repairs and installations quickly charges fair prices (in my opinion).

That is exactly what we were told all four times... the last call the office staff even gave a delivery date... called back after "missed" delivery date and were told we weren't even on the schedule. The call number staff is clueless and has no clue what they are doing. They want you to sign a contract to be a "valued customer" for a year yet they don't hold up there end of the deal to automatically refill you like they are supposed too. Still no delivery in sight, and we are under 15% on the tank with single digit temps ahead. Let's not forget the famous last words of the call center.... Instead, the installers were here all day and still had issues with the brand new unit, leaving me without AC on a very hot day. It made being in the house very uncomfortable. Although the installers were nice, that was the only good part of this experience. The company offered to pay for a hotel, but because of other responsibilities, it was not a practical solution. What made matters worse was the lack of communication afterward. I was told technicians would arrive at 10:00 a.m. the next day to troubleshoot the problem, and I made sure to be home. By 10:45 a.m., I still had not heard from anyone. No call, no update, nothing, until I reached out to them. The new technicians finally arrived at 11:45 a.m. For the amount of money a new HVAC system costs, this level of inconvenience and poor communication is unacceptable. Nice technicians do not make up for a brand new system not working and the lack of respect for a customer's time.

Anyway I suggested since he thought it smelled so bad to just leave and I would reschedule with some other tech. Nope he decided to stay. So they told me they cancelled my service contract!!! Wait. WHAT? Because of this techs B S. I said send someone out to check out the basement and see he gave them BS. Nope won't do that. But we'll cancel your contract and refuse service. My opinion. Jerk move! All based on 1 persons perspective. Don't bother to talk to any other service techs that have been there from their company.
